Today, we were at the King of Prussia mall for an errand and passed the Pepper Palace and I happened to be carrying a water bottle so we thought, why not? The highlight of this place would, of course, would be all of the hot sauces lined up along the middle of the store that are available for tasting. There are bins of tortilla chips provided to sample the various sauces and salsas, and it's a great way to try before you buy. Ingredients are listed too, so if you're allergic to tomatoes and need something carrot-based, it's easy to spot these sauces. Personally, I hate the taste of vinegar and opted to try everything that didn't have vinegar listed as the first ingredient. Unfortunately, that did limit my options quite a bit. Our favorites were the Tres Diablos and the Black Rose. We had to cut our visit short because we had to attend to our errand, but we'll be back to pick up one- or both- of those hot sauces. My only major complaint was that there weren't any that had a little pineapple with a strong heat (fruits mask vinegar taste). I want that hint of fruit, but I'd still like enough heat to regret eating it later. I wish you could submit requests for future hot sauces!

I've seen the name, but honestly I thought it was just a dispensary of sorts. Well I have been humbled. My sister is huge on crystals, essential oils, incense, and the like. When I went to NY most recently I was inspired and have started dabbling in certain crystals myself. When a ring broke from dancing too hard last week (literally) I looked up crystal shops and this place came up. And I was like... they have crystals?! So when I had free time, I made my way over there. A short 10 minutes from my house is this serene house with a waterwheel fountain and so many colorful plants. There's just a few parking spaces right outside, but there's more across the street. The porch itself is inviting too... and when you step inside, it smells like one of the shops my sister loves. I found myself just exploring through everything... crystals, body care, supplements, herbs, teas... even a library! And the prices... the prices are fantastic compared to what I've seen at other places! I found myself in awe at it all. They even have a rewards program!
