My only complaint -- when you are spending this much on a hotel room, it would be nice to have a coffee machine in the room. A Nespresso or a Keurig even... no coffee in the morning while you're getting ready is super annoying. As it was just me, it was fine but I can imagine it can be annoying if you're traveling with someone else. One thing is that it's all one big room. There's a frosted pane glass to separate the beds and the toilet/shower. Meaning, if someone is in the shower or using the toilet, you can kinda see outlines of things. Just be sure you're VERY acquainted with your travel partner, especically of getting the bunk bed room lol. I wish there was a luggage stool in the room, as space is otherwise limited. When I was there, they had issues with wifi - so I couldn't connect and of my devices and the tv didn't work. Staff was very friendly. All in all, if you go in knowing what this - you'll be fine .

I tour around the country and stay in a lot of hotels and I would happily recommend The Quinta Inn & Suites Brooklyn East to anyone. I had some of the best sleep I've had in days with multiple options on Pillow firmness I was able to find one that was just right. I was comfortable leaving my car in their secure lot without ever questioning if it was safe. The continental breakfast was standard, eggs, Canadian Bacon, Hash Browns, Waffles, etc. which is all I needed. I'm happy with my decision to stay at The La Quinta Inn & Suites East Brooklyn and I believe you will be too.

The tv in the room was finicky and was pretty old. The available tv channels were so-so. There wasn't any breakfast served in the morning unless you wanted to pay at the restaurant down stairs. The wifi was impressively slow. The bathroom looked like every other hotel bathroom I've ever seen. Their phones were down the entire weekend so we had to walk downstairs if we needed to talk to somebody. They did serve coffee in the morning but it was the basic Keurig coffee. Again we liked the hotel, but after some discussion we thought 100-150 per night would have been more reasonable.

The room had a very clean bathroom, supplied with shampoo, conditioner, soap and all the towels you need. My room included a desk, tv in the armoise with three large drawers for clothes. In the closet, there was an extra blanket, iron and iron table and suitcase holder. I enjoyed the free water, apples, tea and coffee in the lobby. Room service was terrific and the lobby manager called me once because I set a do-not-disturb and asked if I still wanted room service. The staff throughout the entire week greeted me and were very friendly. I am looking forward to visiting Atlantic Highlands, NJ again and to stay here.

You don't have to miss a single line out of Tom Cruise's mouth because the headphones work down to the bathrooms (which were spacious & clean) two floors down (I personally wouldn't keep mine on for safety reasons, but maybe I'm just a paranoid mess!) A well-put together event, & the ambiance of the 360-degree view of surrounding BK cannot be beat. "You want the truth?! You can't handle the truth!" The truth is RCC & Office Ops make a great pair in hosting an unforgettable movie night for me & my peeps.

Unfortunately, the walls are pretty thin, so if the next door uses the sink or shower I could hear it very loudly. The price was around $200 CAD a night in Oct 2022. There are many other hotels nearby too if you're looking for better accommodation quality. I highly recommend the location of Long Island City as transit is so convenient and overall much cheaper than trying to find a hotel in Manhattan.

I got a room with a balcony. That pleased me to no end because, no matter the weather, I like getting fresh air in my room. The neighborhood is fine. Pretty much all hotels and residential. There's a cute little waiting area with tons of information for tourists before you enter. Past the elevators is a communal room with a microwave, ice, etc. Hotel is fairly small. Only a few floors with about 4 rooms to each. Seemed clean. Elevator was fast. Upon entering the room, I was greeted to the familiar smell of weed. Listen, I won't lie. I indulge in that but I DON'T want the room I'm paying for to reek of it. That's where the balcony came in handy. Opened the door for a bit and the smell left. I must say, the room did not impress me. It disappointed me a lot. Old, dirty rug full of stains and burn holes. Broken smoke detector on the ceiling. Tiny, HARD pillows. Stained sheets with holes. Extra quilt with hair on it. Broken hangers. No USB ports. No lamp. ONE outlet. DEEP tub that's incredibly slippery. Broken sink faucet. Feels like I'm staying in someone's dingy room. No hand towels or washcloths. A balcony with no furniture. What the point?! The only pros are that its quiet, the bathroom seems clean, there is a mini fridge, the bed is comfy and the Queensboro bridge/city view from the balcony. I just feel like I'm gonna go home with some communicable disease after staying here. Look, I know you get what you pay for, but in these times, I don't care what the price point is, IT NEEDS TO BE CLEAN! Would reccomend The Nesva? Not really. Would I come back? Most likely no. The bed was comfortable, the linens crisp cotton, the ensuite bathroom in my room (the other 2 rooms have private baths accessed from the hall, but exclusive to the rooms) was large and newly renovated. The room had a flat screen TV with all the cable stations, including premium channels. Arlington Pl. is a quiet street, yet within a five minute walk to a main drag with restaurants, pharmacy, grocery stores et al. I felt welcome and at home. The 'innkeeper', who lives on the property, was helpful in every way. There are several large public rooms that guests can just hang out in. They have done a great job remodeling this property. Highly recommended!

What's worse is I had the privilege of experiencing this during my wedding weekend. Left a few messages leading up to the weekend which went unreturned so I decided to stop by. You would have thought I'd broken in. I understand there was an event going on but there are nicer ways to be ushered out. Had my rehearsal dinner at the B&B the Friday night before the wedding (some of the guests sat in the garden behind the kitchen) and actually had the next door neighbor come by to say the event was supposed to end at 8pm. We weren't loud and only went until 8:45pm which is pretty tame for the Friday before Memorial Day. We offered to pay for it but were told by Ambyr that wasn't necessary as long as we finished by 9:00pm which we did. Last fatal error - stayed here with my new husband on my wedding night. The neighbor in the brownstone directly behind ours held a loud backyard party (complete with a live band) that went until 3:00 am. Ambyr, who manages the Inn, said she had gone over to the neighbors to say the party was affecting her guests and went so far as to videotape it so she could show Liz just how awful it was. She even told me that given our proximity to the whole thing that she had recommended to Liz that we be comped for the night (a courtesy that Liz was adamant about not extending). Had I been staying anywhere else one of three things would have happened - we would have comped, offered a different room (not possible given the size of the B&B) or offered a free return visit. As recompense we were generously not charged for the 45 minutes that we went over for our rehearsal dinner - something Ambyr was already not charging us for. And while Ambyr was apologetic about my horrific wedding night and understood when I told her that I almost checked out of the B&B that night, Liz didn't even have the decency to reach out to us. I truly got the impression that she could have cared less. Being an absentee innkeeper is totally fine (especially given Liz's less than warm personality) but at least consider empowering the person managing the Inn to make appropriate judgment calls. If she says she's not going to charge us for something, don't charge us. If she says it was a horrible night and that we should be comped, take her word for it since she was actually there.
