Yum! Upscale comfort food (at reasonable prices) has landed in Teele Sq. in the former Rudy's space. Fans of the former Mexican haunt will appreciate the Rudy's marg and chips and cheese sauce appetizer. I went for a friends & family soft opening event so the menu was limited (lobster biscuit, I'm looking at you for next time) but drinks were solid and so were the items we tried: octopus and delicata squash, a pork tagliatelle (sadly not on the main menu), and a roasted cauliflower main. We're trying to be carb-conscious, so we didn't try the fries. But they were the thin, crispy kind I'd eat way too many of. Staff was very friendly amidst pre-opening jitters. I had one cocktail and one Guinness pour. Loved the decor and thought the bathroom might also have some wild funky stuff, but it just had some tasteful art. Definitely the kind of place that feels fancy and I'd be most comfortable at the bar. Worth noting they have an egg/sweet potato hash kind of thing on the dinner menu, so if a breakfast craving hits, you won't go wrong here, either.

Loved dinner at The Hollows! Food was tasty, came out HOT and felt homemade. Calamari, cheesy fries with mushrooms gravy, and tagliatelle + haddock for main: bomb. Don't skip the pecan pie for dessert. Wish we got to try the chop suey but they were fresh out at the time. Cocktail was on point, and service was very quick. Will be back soon.

    Great fried chicken!

There is literally fun everywhere you look from the panda stuffed animal riding a tiger on the wall to the hilarious shrek pillow. Coming right when they open I was able to see these things that you would likely not see in the evening. But to be fair I came right when they opened since it is first come first serve. A majority of the drinks were more on the savory side which was very interesting like "may all your bacon burn" with bacon bites at the top of the drink. The drinks my friend had were all stunning with the use of egg yolk to elevate the drink. We ended the evening by walking over to Bow Market and trying Viet Citron which was so DANG GOOD my gosh. The to go orders were insane but looks like they are doing very well despite recently opening in. I got the grilled lemongrass pork ribs bowl and youtiao and the side sauce was so good. The ribs were all very meaty. It looks small but I was surprised how full I was after having it. Nice night of drinks and food. When we…read morearrived, I did not expect to find an entire courtyard filled with shops and restaurants tucked behind this little alleyway. It was such a cute hidden area, and I was already excited before we even got to the place. We headed upstairs into the bar, and the vibe was perfect. It's small, cozy, dimly lit, with vibey music playing. Since it was our first time, we were a little confused at first, but the waiter was super kind and walked us through everything. I ordered the Elly the Elephant and my friend got the Laughing Gull, and we both really enjoyed our drinks. One thing I thought was really nice is that they allow you to grab food from the surrounding restaurants and bring it in to eat there. We didn't end up doing that, but we did get the charcuterie board they had. It came with cheeses, crackers, and some fruit, and you can add meats for $10, which we opted out for. I will say I was a little disappointed by the fruit portion. The menu mentioned fresh fruit, so I expected more than three thin orange slices and one sliced strawberry. HOWEVER, when I asked for more strawberries, our waiter kindly brought out a whole bowl for me, which I really appreciated. We stayed for about two hours, and as the night went on the place definitely got more crowded, so we headed out. Overall, this is such a cute and cozy cocktail bar. I'll definitely be back when the weather is warmer to try the other drinks and restaurants in the market.

This is the best tiki bar in Boston/Cambridge area. Probably in the state if I think about it. Legit cocktails. Very, very good food. Veg options. Creative and affordable mugs. An adjacent parking structure (the only one in Harvard Square). The place is unicorn material. I've been here maybe four times over several years. Shame on me for finishing this cumulative review now. The good news is every visit was solid. I've been here as a small and also large party. Sat at both the bar and table. Had reservations and also walked in. Visited in the summer and also winter. Weekends are tough to get in without a resy. It's tiny. And its Cambridge. Weekdays you'll be fine but reserve anyway. It's free. From bar to tables to booths, you're covered with seating. Can they serve a table for ten? Maybe but I wouldn't be that person. Check ahead of time. Drinks are strong. Sometimes sweet but mostly balanced. Food is yummy. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options clearly marked on the menu. Serving dishes and bowls are fun too: skulls/shells/etc. Enjoy this hidden secret. And don't steal the mugs. Buy them--they're so reasonable.

And eventually walked to the bar and asked the multiple staff members standing near the bar if I could sit. They said yes, so I did. There were 3 mai tais on the menu so I went with the recently revised version, recommended by the bartender. It was served in a super cute takeout box cup. I then had one of the sweeter rated drinks that had coconut rice milk or something. Also delicious. I waited too long to order food because by the time I was done with my 2nd drink, I was ready to head out and still didn't have my food. I asked the bartender if they were able to pack my order to go and he made a note on my order and it came to go container soon after. I brought it back to my hotel, had a few bites, put it in the fridge and one about my evening. The crab rangoon was delicious, the lemongrass chicken thigh on skewers was also delicious and the spring rolls with bang bang chicken were just okay. They came with peanut sauce that I felt like should have had a much stronger peanut flavor and the spring rolls and themselves ended up sticking together and ripping apart when I attempted to eat them later that evening. I wish I had ordered other food to bring back to my hotel room because the items I ordered really were not satiating but I was conservative with how much I was spending. I would recommend WS for the drinks and food, but I don't think all of the food is a hit. I will know that the place seemed to be very busy very quickly. Other people approach the bar and asked if they could sit there and staff questioned if they had reservations, which they didn't do to me, and those people were ultimately turned away from sitting at the bar. As a result, I don't exactly know how the seating works here, but as a single female I didn't have a hard time getting a seat at the bar but would probably try to make a reservation if I was going to go again.
