The Home Depot Nursery is definitely your one stop shopping for all your plant and landscaping needs!! Succulents, shrubs, perennials and annuals. So much variety for both indoor and out. Excellent pricing!! Usually someone on hand to guide you and answer questions.

It was nice. Very well stocked. Christmas and Halloween decor galore! The garden center was filled with an excellent selection of plants IMO. Impressed. I got some herbs for my garden.

Warm weather inspired me to test out my green thumb. Home Depot sounded like a good place to start. They have everything. I bought some potting soil which took me forever to figure out which one to buy. They have so many choices; it's not even funny. I also bought some succulent cacti; I figure it's easiest to grow. Now, let's see how long i can keep these alive. Home Depot is very intimidating for someone like me and I think it shows. Most of the time when I walk in, I am offered assistance. For that I am grateful, Home Depot.

Things are looking up. We ordered a set of garage cabinets online, and today we picked them up. Linda at the special order desk was extremely helpful. She processed my pick up and had another associate, Rocky, grab my order from receiving. He even loaded my pick up truck with the order. So nice to save my back for the unloading. Linda and Rocky were great today, and I continue to enjoy improved service each time I visit this location. Thanks Cave Creek Home Depot!!

Misleading Sign. "25% off evap coolers". Manager Gary says that the sign excludes portable evaps. Where does it say that, on the sign?!

Ah, Harbor Freight, or as I now call it, the Bermuda Triangle of BS. If you're looking for a place…read moreto spend hard-earned money on flimsy tools and get treated like a nuisance for expecting them to, you know, function, look no further. Let me set the scene. I walk in, holding an electric chainsaw that has all the structural integrity of a screen door. It leaks oil like a sieve, a steady, greasy reminder of my poor purchasing decisions. Surely, I thought, a business that sells tools for a living (and has "Quality Tools" emblazoned across their sign like some sort of cruel inside joke) would recognize that a "chainsaw that hemorrhages oil" falls somewhere short of acceptable. Silly me. Instead of a refund or even a coherent sentence, I got a customer service ping-pong match between apathetic employees who looked deeply inconvenienced by my existence. First, a cashier who responded to my request with a shrug that could win a gold medal in indifference. Then I was passed to a "manager" whose primary skillset appears to be blaming "corporate" for everything from defective merchandise to his own personality flaws. "We can't do anything. Corporate policy." Ah, yes. The sacred Corporate. The all-powerful, faceless entity invoked to avoid responsibility. Maybe I should've brought the chainsaw to Corporate's doorstep? Better chance of a refund, and they might even have someone there who knows how to speak to customers without such open contempt. In summary: If you enjoy buying junk tools, getting the runaround, and being treated like an inconvenience instead of a customer, this place is paradise. Otherwise, shop literally anywhere else, or better yet, forge your own tools from raw iron ore. It'll be faster, cheaper, and you'll be treated better by wild animals than you will by this staff. Congratulations, Harbor Freight! You've mastered the art of selling garbage and dodging accountability, a true achievement in modern retail.

When I walked into Scottsdale Custom Building Materials, I assumed I would be left to wander around like the other places I had gone. Immediately after I entered, a salesman greeted me and genuinely took the time to learn which door I purchased, what my home's style is and offered several suggestions. Not once did I feel pressured to buy a higher end product or something that I didn't really like. Two weeks later my hardware arrived just as we discussed. I really appreciate that this place doesn't resort to high pressure sales tactics and even though I could have found the hardware cheaper online I really appreciated the personal touch to get to know me and what I liked, rather than which line would bring in more profit. I can assure you, I will be back when I tackle my next home project coming soon!

That's why working with Sal at Scottsdale Custom Building Materials stood out so much. My son and I are chemically sensitive, so I needed Jeld-Wen no-added-formaldehyde doors for a healthy home build. Sal not only helped me source them, but also guided me through quantities, materials, and design tweaks that made the final plan more functional and attractive. What really impressed me was how proactive and responsive he was. After dealing with another shop that expected me to chase them because they hadn't followed through, Sal was a breath of fresh air. He was organized, thorough, and genuinely invested in doing the job right. Hands down, he has been the most on-point and dedicated supplier of my entire remodel. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sal to anyone looking for doors, moulding, hardware, or building materials.

They sell you products that their not familiar with, and will not replace anything after the fact. If you order anything from the store, make sure you double check it when you get it before you install it because they take no responsibility or fault for missing items on products. The doors were good, but the biggest issue I had was with their pocket door and barn door. I asked them about a pocket door that would extend across a certain size opening. They said they had two panel pocket doors, which I thought was a great idea. Well, the pocket door came without some hardware, and after 2-3 trips back to the store, we kept receiving the incorrect hardware, and we ended up paying for this incorrect hardware because they would not give it to us as part of the purchase. In order to make a long story short, the installer they requested, kept reminding us that we did not have all the hardware for the install. Currently, I have a two pane pocket door that is not secure. You need two hands to extend it out, and you can look in behind it and see all the dust and debris from the installation. They provided nothing that would shield you from seeing inside of the pocket door when it was open. Use them if you like, but just be aware that there are no refunds, and double check that you have all your hardware and pieces for any type of installation. We even ordered a barn door that was missing some screws for installation.

He told me the handles were the same price as the frames (hard to believe) I asked for a refund for the frames and they said all orders were final and no refunds are issued.
