Using Home Depot to find a flooring company lead to no contact and later finding out the place went out of business. I tried again hoping for a plumber. This resulted in a broken hose bib and a no show followup. Some time later, I ordered some stuff (partial bank and gift card payment) 1 of the items was out of stock and was canceled. The store told me to call the 800 number for the refund. They told me I'd get the entirety of the refund on my bank card. The store called and it had to be done in person. The story changed once I was there and the refund had to be partial bank card and partial gift card. Haven't received the bank card part and the gift card can ONLY be used physically in the store. I can't add it to my online account. Just be sure they have what you order because the refund process is stupid and blatantly self-serving. read more

This location has become my second home practically and I've been warmly welcomed with a ton of support from their flooring department and customer service desk. The staff is so helpful and kind. I recently completed a full home flooring install that only happened because of their flooring department's meticulous care and assistance. Dave F, Robert, Katrina, Linda, Randy, Josh and Donna all kept the job moving forward with immediate help, answering questions, ordering, returning, exchanging, researching, delivering, and boosted my spirits throughout the entire construction process. I would give zero stars if I could. Everyone in this town knows that this store is horrible. Cheap products get put on the shelves, because upper management at corporate level has never lifted a hammer. Managers at a lower level stock the shelves with said garbage, because they are cowards who won't argue with uppers. The rest of the employees are second chancers or just straight lazy. Customer service is horrible. I know I will never spend another dollar at this store ever again. I hope others do the same. This washer dryer unit is the biggest piece of trash I have ever spent my money on in my life! It locks the lid the minute it starts a cycle (when IT decides to start a cycle) so you cannot add water and detergent first. You have to add your clothes and then just dump the detergent right onto your clothes. Then, because it's a "water saving" machine, your clothes will still be dry of water but saturated with where you dumped detergent on them. So then, just to rinse them you'll have to run an entirely new cycle. Do not even think of forgetting a sock because "locked" means LOCKED! It will not allow you to lift the lid to throw a D*MN sock in "for your safety". I have never in my life wasted $1200 on a bigger piece of garbage than this GE unit. Save yourself the cost of psycho therapy your family will insist you seek out after they hear you cussing and swearing and kicking this *-hole of a unit! If I could find the ceo of GE my punishment would be for him to have to give this unit to his wife for christmas, than sit back and watch the divorce proceedings! read more

HEALTH WARNING!!! We all wear COVID masks and I had mine on in a visit to Cottonwood Home Depot. Walking the aisles with my wife we rounded a corner and a large puddle of dog urine covered the floor. A Store Clerk was bending down to clean up the piss. I was blown away that some dog owner would leave the scene for a store lady to mop up the mess! I went upfront and shared what I experienced. As I did I passed a Newfoundland (not a service dog) and saw another mutt down another aisle. The clerk called for the manager after telling me that "it happens all the time" and told us that she personally had cleaned up after a dog had diahrea spewing it down an 80 ft. aisle. Mike, the manager, approached and said that the store has postings saying "SERVICE DOGS ONLY" but dog owners bring their dogs in anyway. He went on to say that HOME DEPOT STORES in Arizona have been directed to allow all dogs into their stores and that it is their biggest complaint. Finally, I own 3 dog sand I would never bring them with me into a retail store etc. SO be warned: GOING TO HOME DEPOT IS A HEALTH HAZZARD! Funny, they police us for wearing masks for COVID but anyone's dog is OK to come in the store and poop or pee anywhere they'd like and Home Depot staff will clean it up! read more

No discount for the warped wood. They know they're the largest and only supplier of wood in cottonwood and take full advantage of you. If you are looking to buy quality tools, You might as well forget that . They've eliminated all the higher quality garden tools and replaced them with cheap Fiskers gardening tools. If you're foolish enough to use HD's online ordering thru their Pro app, I highly recommend you check the order once they tell you it's "ready for pickup". 1/2 of the lumber I ordered wasn't on the order. When I called the pro desk, their response was "yeah, we're out of that lumber". No notice, no warning. Had I sent my guys to pick up the order and bring it to the client, we'd be standing there with egg on our face due to the fact we didn't have enough lumber to complete the job! I doubt I'll use their quote & order services again. I'd rather go & pick out my own pretzel shaped lumber. Looking into other sources instead of giving these clowns my money. read more

Christine Adair in the D-24 paint dept. does the job of three people! She is so quick and efficient and we were so pleased that we were able to get the paint we wanted so quickly. Usually, there is a long waiting period for that. She also took time to show me where the polyurethane pieces are located. She was lifting the 5 gal. buckets of paint which was remarkable. The check out lady, by the door whose name is Janice, was also very friendly. It is so nice to go to a store with such nice employees. read more

I visited a flooring center to get my flooring measurements done, flooring purchased and installed. I am not very knowledgeable on what materials were needed for the project and I relied on Home Depot to order everything according to measurements. When the installation technician arrived three months later, I found out that the staircase flooring materials were not ordered. I was under the impression when I accepted and paid for the project that all requested materials and areas were covered... and this is after three months of waiting for flooring installation. After speaking to customer service, local flooring manager, we were unable to determine why this was excluded from the project.. when I specifically requested everything to be included. They offered help with ordering staircase flooring materials and that they would remove the delivery fee, but when I go online and order same materials from the website .. then the delivery comes up as free of charge. I may not have accepted the job price if I knew that they are missing my staircase from the job. On top of that, I followed all the instructions and disassembled our beds and furniture, but the contractor refused to move it... although I was told that basic moving was included. I am really unhappy with the entire experience. I was paying to have a stress-free experience, but received :(. read more

My parents live in Cottonwood and have purchased a stove, dishwasher and now a new refrigerator. It was delivered Saturday and my parents paid to have them remove the old one. The delivery people were so rude to them. The old refrigerator was hooked up to copper lines for the ice maker. The delivery guy said they won't hook up the new one to copper and they wouldn't unhook the old one. My parents are 79 and 82 . My Dad is not well he's battling cancer and can't do it himself. So the delivery guys are like oh well we will be back on Tuesday so you better have it ready. I live in Surprise , 2 hours away. I know Home Depot hires them to deliver stuff, but they get the bad reviews until they hire a respectable company to deliver their stuff. read more

Called the store, they said oh well.......went to the store with husband and his illness ...ya chronic leukemia is ugly.....they said they could refund money after restocking fee.....WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ITEMS YET!!!.....okay then they said it would take 7-10 days for the money to go back in my account..........what part of the huge sells and us being able to afford these with the money we had. Since I was not using Home Depot credit I literally had a base minimum to find a refrigerator and they took that away. Literally no help. So now the delivery company say they are literally looking at the refrigerator.....we are waiting on the dishwasher. I begged for the refrigerator but they said it would not be delivered separately.....so now I'm waiting on the dishwasher because amazingly the crushed refrigerator we were initially waiting on has reformed into a working model and they have it there. And we still have no refrigerator.........and a very unprofessional Home Depot that did nothing to help us. Our refrigerator we NEED sits 100 miles away while we wait on the dishwasher and they were supposed to be delivered today. They do not help veterans or the elderly....they literally say oh well and shrug. I will never spend another dime at that store. It will take me awhile to pay off their card but I will cut every corner I can to do so and mail it to corporate with suggestions on what to do with it........ They do have a lot of items I don't find at other home depots like pine doors and a custom mirror section that you can pick a mirror and a frame to match your project. The staff is 50/50 of whether they will be helpful but I suppose it is because they are the only option in the area and have to deal with a lot of people. read more

I wish that the plant section had more choice than Miracle Gro products... in a time when we need to be more conscious of the environment, it is sad not to have organic fertilizing options (outside Miracle Gro). The synthetic formula of MG are harmful to worms and good soil bacteria. The list is long.
