    Whoever was working the return counter today 3/11/2021 @ approx 1:20pm was rude, no people skills, and not the least bit helpful. She did not even make an attempt to take my return for an item that I purchased with an entire kitchen appliance purchase. I provided a receipt and told her it was also on my card. She asked me to swipe my card so I did. I asked which way does the stripe need to be and just kind of stared at me and eventually told me to just swipe it. So I swiped my card. She said the item wasn't popping up and was getting ready to just walk away from the register and thought I was just going to accept that it wasn't there. I said well it should be there, and I have the receipt look it's right here and I pointed to where the item was listed on the receipt. She didn't scan the receipt and scan the item once more and continue to tell me that the item was not there. Even though the item was clearly listed on the receipt I had provided. She told me the item was only ringing up for one cent and could not return it. She did not apologize or say sorry about this etc. Absolutely no customer service skills. And I have had nothing but issue after issue since purchasing my kitchen appliance package here at this Home Depot. I made the purchase back in November and lost several days of work due to having to reschedule delivery dates after being told time and time again that I wouldn't need to reschedule. The installation I paid for was not done correctly and they did not install my dishwasher and I had to do it myself. In doing so, I realized I did not need the power cord the told me I absolutely needed upon preach song everything back in November. I tried returning that power cord today and apparently she could not find the item that was clearly listed on the receipt.

    Helpful and friendly! I needed 2 more dowels cut, and behold, the young man who helped me the last time was at the cutting station ready to help me with my dowels. Christian remembered me from last week and cheerfully assisted me. At the cashier's, the check-out lady was warm and hospitable. I am a total fan!

    The worst and most unprofessional floor installation i have ever seen installed in my life! My 80 year old mother had the worst floor installation experience dine by Home Depots so called contractors. Take a look at the pictures which show how these clear amateurs install flooring. First off to hide their uneven cutting along the edges the installer put down molding but because they are so lazy they put down white molding and didn't even bother to match the color of the flooring or the oak color of the cabinetry above the flooring! In addition they did not bother to remove the old baseboard prior to laying down the flooring and just added additional molding next to the old baseboard! Who does this crap.... i will tell you who untrained immigrants who barely speak englush and just slap down a crappy job and expect to get paid by Home Depot probably because they give them a bargain basement price to become a Home Depot' sub-contracting company! The installer then advised my 80 year old mother he would leave her some touch up paint to get on her hands and knees and paint/touch up to paint and match the white molding to the oak cabinetry! Isn't that were we're paying Home Depot for is to professionally install it properly?? What is the point of Having an 80-year-old woman pay a professional installer and have them tell her she needs to finish the job! Making forPaying for a Home Depot installation Absolutely POINTLESS! If I did not live in another state I would take this directly up with Home Depot but at this point I'm thoroughly appalled and ultimately dissatisfied with their installation and practices! They deserve no stars whatsoever

I never leave bad reviews about any store because I never care enough. But the interaction I had today was actually crazy. I thought I might've been on a prank show. There was nothing wrong with my return -- I wasn't upset, I wasn't being difficult, and I had no problem with Harbor Freight's policy. I just asked a simple question about why the process seemed different than usual. In response, Elizabeth became visibly agitated, spoke over me, and said, "Since you're in the military, you need to learn some patience," referencing the uniform I had on. That comment really threw me off. I don't think wearing a uniform makes me better than anyone else, but it definitely doesn't make me the person you pick a fight with -- especially when nothing is wrong. I wasn't being rude or sarcastic, but she treated me like I was. The part that confused me the most is that she seemed to create a scenario in her head and then react to it. It felt like she was projecting some kind of frustration onto me, even though I was calm and just asking a question. The manager eventually stepped in to explain the return system, and I had to clarify multiple times that I wasn't upset with the policy at all -- I had no issue with the return process. My issue was her attitude and behavior, which turned a normal interaction into something extremely uncomfortable for no reason. She was escalating a situation that never existed. I left that store upset and confused. I've spent thousands of dollars at Harbor Freight and have always had good experiences -- until now. I hope this gets addressed, because that kind of customer interaction is unacceptable.

    I'm leaving this review for Harbor Freight Tools because the poor ratings are absolutely justified…read more I went in myself, and the customer service was shockingly bad. If employees dislike their jobs so much that they can't treat customers with basic courtesy, then they should seriously consider finding a different line of work. Daniel, in particular, was exceptionally rude and disrespectful toward me--a paying customer. His behavior was unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Harbor Freight needs to take a hard look at their staff and address these issues immediately, because no one should be treated the way I was.

I had over 100 dollars in my hand, ready to give to the till, and Harbor Freight could do nothing. You would think someone could have called California and found out what the hubbub is on the item, the managers could have ordered the item. How about a transfer from another store. Yet all the lady manager could do is look at her watch and say, "There is nothing I can do, sir!" Phoenix, AZ is not a small pueblo hiding in the desert. 1.7 million inhabitants must be flushing something down the toilet. Should one of those toilets clog... sorry, says Harbor Freight, there is absolutely nothing we can do.
