Today I visited your store, after searching around for a new toilet seat, I finally found someone to show me where to look, although he didn't stick around to help me. It was up to me to reach up and pull the one I wanted from a shelf above my head. I then headed to the front of your store to check out only to be greeted by a large bank of new self-check outs with two teenagers to assist customers who had never used this intimidating technology before. No, it wasn't like the one at my local grocery store. Of course I did mention to these two hapless beings that I am 82 years old and did not appreciate this level of service. This Home Depot has a smaller selection than others relatively new by but the one star is 100% due to the service. On average, the service is cordial but there is zero expertise no matter if it's garden, plumbing, general tools, etc. on even the most basic questions and you also have to hunt around the store to even find an orange apron. I keep thinking each experience was a one off but fool me 7 times now. I am not coming back, enough is enough. It takes a lot for me to give a one star and unfortunately this store earned it. read more

Quality of support from store employees is mixed but you can always find the location of your item on their website. In what is one of the dumbest merchandising moves I could possibly fathom, Home Depot doesn't sell the tools required to install the concealed hinges they sell. In order to install said hinges, one needs an 8mm drill bit and a 35mm Forstner bit. Guess who doesn't carry metric drill bits!?! Not only this but, the distance to the center of the Forstner hole required is 20.5mm. The Kreg cabinet harware jig, sold by Home Depot, starts at 21mm rendering it useless for the installation of the only brand.of hinges sold at this joke of a hardware store. This Home Depot has the rudest people, lazy and unhelpful this includes their call center too. On this day bought an item to check out and no price sticker the cashier made me go back and get another they were all like this. I asked either call the department or look online, the cashier was too lazy. I did not buy the item. They have no paper bags so you have to carry out without them or a no boxes if from garden center. Either charge fir bags etc.Also, I fought out they don't give military discount any more due to people was abusing the system and forget their card etc. Plus, customers said they get a discount on all purchases but it was up to the manufacturer to give the discount and on certain items. Plus, if you get a store credit gift card you can not use it online only in store. Next employees don't get any discounts or any benefits like health insurance etc. When an employee has some type of emergency they push their employees to give. Management get benefits but not hourly employees. The last they did away from DEI diversity programs for employees, for suppliers etc...because they willing to kiss the orange piece of nazi, facist racist in the White House they were too afraid of him. I heard the owner and CEO gave money to his campaign. I heard this store and others in the nation call ICE but that can not proven. Finally I found out Lowe's is cheaper too and better customer service. Recently, I ordered from them and they sent a survey on my order on line and wanted to know how was everything. Their trees are terrible. Planted 7 and dug big holes, used root starter and right amount of water. 5 of 7 died. Replaced 1 under warranty but the others crapped out after warranty ran out. Well...it's a home improvement store...so my expectations aren't high, as these are all about the same. The difference in any of these is the staff. Having just moved near here, I've spent lots of time wandering the aisles, dreaming of projects and spending more $$ than intended. Firstly, the customer service crew, from my experience returning things and asking for a few discounts, I've had nothing but good interactions. They were quick, helpful and polite. As I move through the store, I would organize things a bit differently, as things tend to be in odd places at times. Lack of a knowledgeable staff in the departments is the issue for all of these types of stores and this one is no different. I asked a kid they had in the plumbing Dept a question and he literally just stared at me with his mouth open for a good 3-4 minutes! He was clueless. If I need something, I spend quite a bit of time trying to track someone down and even when you find them, sometimes you feel like you wished you hadn't! Lots of young people standing around by the self service counters, willing to help, but lacking knowledge of anything more. Overall, they're convenient, try to be helpful and not going anywhere. My view of this store is mostly positive, with the same issues as most home improvement stores, so when you go, be patient, do your research before arriving and get the app which lets you locate things on your own and scan for prices. read more

Experience and qualification, are abundant here. Excellent reputation is apparent through intention to serve the needs of her clients. I shop in nearly every Home Depot from Castlerock to Denver and Littleton to Parker. Many locations state discretionary decisions are not within their capabilities. My wife made a mistake with the paint she bought, I try to return it the costumer service person sent me to the paint department, the paint department sent me back to costumer service so they can get a manager to take care of me. The costumer service person called the manager, the manager told him he was too busy with another project so it will be a while. Horrible management. Not sure why the low rating, but I have nothing but good to say about this location. I'm used to my HD back in NJ, so compared to that one, this place is huge! They have you could possibly need for all your housing & gardening needs. Plenty of staff that was always willing to help. First I will never buy an appliance from home Depot as a washing machine came with a small dent. I was supposed to get a small refund that never happened. Second I won't go into detail as I plan on contacting corporate to discuss one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Every time I come here I wonder why. I could not find any help with a couple items this morning. Then I go to the front and there are five people standing there, talking, looking at their phones and laughing as customers are doing self check out. Do NOT pay for dishwasher installation through Home Depot. Most people I knew suggested that dishwashers were very easy to install, so if you don't want to do it yourself, it should be no problem for Home Depot to install for you. After 4 service calls (one when the installer showed up without the dishwasher he was supposed to install!) it is finally kind of installed. It runs and doesn't leak, but it is not secured to the underside of the countertop nor one side of the adjacent cabinetry. It tips forward when opened and both racks are pulled out. After countless calls to Home Depot and many apologies, I can't believe the poor service and quality. read more

Overall a great experience. This store does a great job of keeping everything stocked and straightened up which makes it easy to find what you need. My only comment is that over the last year or so, I don't run into as many experts who work there. I have had to return several items due to incorrect recommendations. We placed an order online for delivery. The deliver was scheduled the money left my account. The day of delivery, waited ALL DAY, no delivery. Called the next morning to be told they didn't have a phone number, that is not true, you can not even place an online order without giving a phone number. No one called, no one delivered. Cancelled the order and place a new order with LOWES my new home improvement store. Just wanted to echo the reviews that everyone else had left. I had ordered a Washer/Dryer and an additional Washer for my own home. 2600.00 plus worth of appliances. After they failed to deliver a second time I cancelled both orders. The extremely frustrating aspect to this transaction is that on the second attempt to deliver the address was wrong, but they were just one building over. I could see the van with my washer and dryer in them, but Home Depot would not allow them to deliver because its store policy that the address had to be correct. So the units had to be driven back, returned to the shelves, put back in inventory and I was told I would have to re-purchase the units. C'mon home depot---use some common sense. The second part of this review is more store specific. When I called my store to find out what Home Depot would do to keep me as a customer after multiple Home Depot screw-ups Shannon, or Sharon, made it very clear she could care less about the issues, did not offer any apologies or compensation. Its been two weeks now and I have yet to receive my 2600.00!!! I went to Lowes that day and bought my appliances from them. I would love to speak to a store manager about my transaction--- Lets see if I get more than a computer generated apology, or "we will look into it" type of response. *Quick Update* After calling the Customer Service desk, I was told that I would have to contact the specific store. I have mixed reviews about this Home Depot. The younger employees in the garden center and lumber areas are all very friendly and helpful. The older ones I've interacted with are mostly disinterested or rude. This is over the course of 50+ visits and many thousands of dollars of purchases. When I did find somebody, his name was Chuck with gray slicked back hair, he actually told me I don't work in that department. No curbside pickup even though on line order says its available as well as the store website. I called as the order said to do and the associate said we aren't offering that just some in the store and we'll help you. 60-75 people in the line to get in the store, not social distancing, many not wearing masks, the last thing I want to do is wait in that line. At a time when many/all businesses are doing curbside, this home depot has chosen not too. Are customer important to this Home Depot? I think not. Okay, I must admit, I was never really a fan of going to Home Depot, much less any home improvement or hardware store. There was a time where there was no one around to help me when I would enter any type of store like this (and I need a LOT of help here), but my visits here are the exact opposite. There are several workers coming up and asking me if I need help (is it that obvious that I do need help?!) every time I go there. They are all very knowledgeable and I always leave there smarter (and usually a lot more broke!). It is obvioius to me that they take the time to hire individuals who care and want to help customers. Went in with my 2 year old son. Was looking for a Milwaukee hammer drill. Was in the sale section. Found a combo pack. Brought it up to purchase. Rung up differently. The old handicap lady working the self register job. on 1/22/20 at 11:45am. Pretty much told me I put it in that section to get it for a cheaper price. She didn't straight out tell me that... but made sure to word it that way. Screw her. I put it back and left.
