It's fine until you need service. Call the "president's" line. Leave a message. Nothing will happen. Call the 720 772 3434 and they will rudely tell you to call the store. Call the store. Get told someone will call you back the next day. Voicemail the next day can't be undstood. Overseas rep. Then get told to call "brand source" for service. If you're less than a year you get sent to call the store again. Store says to call electrolux. They answer as Frigidaire. They barely speak English. Back to calling the store. They scheduled service online. An hour later the subcontractors call back and can't keep that appointment. Would you call that "the runaround?" I do. It should take one call to get service. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM APPLIANCE FACTORY OUTLET! [there should be a negative-star grade.] We have dogs. We needed a washing machine to do very basic things, like pre-rinse, deep fill and soak. Jim pointed to a Maytag and left to help other customers. Our needs were pretty simple, but without an owners manual in the store, we had to rely on Jim's verbal representations and common sense. True, certain things like, "the agitator agitates" and "deep-fill" means lots of water, were assumed. More detail would be gleaned from the online manual, we were told. Unfortunately, the online manual is NOT for our machine. The online manual is for a generic, top-loading machine with a different control panel - and a pre-rinse cycle. There was no pre-rinse designation on the control panel of the model we bought. Making certain assumptions without a manual was a mistake. We began calling the day it was delivered. And it went downhill from there. We sought an acknowledgment that this machine could not perform the very basic pre-rinse function. We just wanted help to find a work-around. We got neither. Instead, continuous calls were met with repeated orders to read the online manual. On display was a woeful ignorance about their own product, and most of all, an obstinate refusal to help or even to engage. Instead of showing the slightest interest in a customers predicament, they offered a hostile, "like it or lump it, pal" attitude. Such lack of curiosity or concern for customer satisfaction is incredibly disappointing. At last, a call to MJ at Whirlpool confirmed there is no manual printed for our model. Further, she confirmed there was no pre-rinse cycle on our machine. It was like learning, yes, there is an agitator, but it does not agitate. When I asked MJ about using the Clean Washer cycle as a work-around, she said it might damage the machine.. None of these revelations interested the manager at Appliance Factory. Instead, Mike Feltman offered his mantra that the online manual was correct without the slightest curiosity over the apparent contradiction. Equally apparent was his lack of interest in helping. Such a lack of imagination or empathy are shocking responses for one in his position. A rigid refusal to check the accuracy of information one is asserting, combined with total apathy toward helping, are curious qualities for one in management. It scarcely builds confidence about future dealings with the store. An inflexible "it ain't broke" attitude and indifference to finding answers or solutions speaks volumes about the quality of management at Appliance Factory Outlet. When Mr. Feltman said Whirlpool would not give him an RA (return authorization) that was the end of it for him. But trying to learn why Whirlpool/Appliance Factory offer this level of incompetence, it only led me to a vortex of Finger-pointing, Denials, Accusations, Robots, Divisions, Departments, Service Pesonnel, none of which are informed of what the other was doing and policies not to tell even if they knew. No one has authority. And no one is accountable. And the customer is left holding the bag. What could improve? Their terrible attitude with regard to their customers. Once they have your money, they stop caring. In short, if you want somebody to give a damn about you as a human being and make any effort on your behalf, go to BEST BUY! It's a different world from the get-go, and better prices to boot. read more

Worst customer service! They do NOT care if you get your appliances on time. Will NOT call to let you know if appliance has shown up for pick up. I have been waiting over a MONTH to get a microwave that was supposed to take 2 weeks. They cant seem to get the appliance from their warehouse to the store for me. Keep telling me I can "pick it up". I payed for the appliance and now they do not care to get it too me. Still to this day NO MICROWAVE! Why? Because they forgot to add my appliance to the truck. I would never recommend buying a mattress from Appliance Factory Outlet and Mattress. I bought a Top of the line Casper Snow Mattress. Casper has a 30 day money back guarantee. I was not happy with the mattress and wanted to return the mattress at the 25 day mark. Jim would not let me return it and would only let me exchange it. I have tried to sell it with no luck on Facebook marketplace. I am out $1700 with absolutely no help from anyone who works at this store or company. read more

We ordered a new washer and dryer from Appliance Factory in Littleton Colorado and were supposed to get a call yesterday with our delivery window. As of this morning, no call. We called them, and after sitting on hold for five minutes with someone who sounded like an annoyed salesman in the middle of a sales meeting, we were passed to a woman, the dispatcher? She told us new staff had accidentally scheduled delivery to our city on the wrong day. If we hadn't called, my wife, who took off work and has a growing pile of laundry would have sat home all day long waiting. We didn't get any type of apology or even a new delivery date. Instead we got the dispatcher with not only a defensive tone, but a tone that sounded like we were annoying her! She said she would call back with a new delivery date. After hours of waiting for that call, we called and canceled the order. We would have been willing to wait for a new delivery date, but with this poor of customer service, bad attitudes, and inability to fix the situation within hours, we lost faith in Appliance Factorie's ability to deliver on our order. Now we just have to wait and see how long it takes to get our refund! If that is a problem, my wife eill leave the next poor review. read more

If I could go lower than 1 star I would. This place is a complete fraud. I bought three appliances from there and there was something wrong with all three. We have a dishwasher that still doesn't work. We have had a repairman out five times to fix it and they still haven't fixed it. Even though it was only about two months old when we started having problems, they won't follow the warranty and get us a different machine. We have now been without a dishwasher longer than it ever worked. I will never buy a product from them again. They are doing nothing to make it right. JIM Hamilton was super friendly until I swiped my credit card. We bought two new Samsungs W/D set for almost $1400. The washer was going to be delivered from a different store-Jim specifically said to let him know if there was any damage done to the appliance so he could make it right. Upon delivery, the drivers showed me the massive scratches on the washer. They said there was not another replacement (and, obviously we purchased these because we needed a w/d) so we could sign off and report to the store to see what they would do for discount I was very ill with the flu and had not even used this banged up set until days later. On top of scratches- the dryer doesn't dry very well at all. It takes multiple rounds to dry the smallest of loads. So I called and requested Jim. He snapped at me to ask why I waited a week to call him. Um, well I had the flu with a 102 degree fever and could barely walk let alone do laundry. Told him I was already upset with the scratches but the actual dryer not working is not ok. He told me I called too late and when I told him that the drivers took pics AND I have a damn paper I signed off on with x's on every location of damage the drivers made me sign before they left. So? Yeah.. and then he had the audacity to tell me (rudely) it shouldn't even matter because I got these at a discount. I sent an email to their "customer service" email and never got a response. Extremely frustrating to deal with. The early process was great! I called told them what I was looking for, they called me back... told me what they had in stock! I went in and paid for it & set up delivery... 10 days out because that was the soonest. I got an email 1 day prior to delivery confirming number and address & stating I would get a call that day from delivery driver to schedule the time for the next day. I never got that call- I waited until 9am the next morning: they called at 9:40 to tell me they would be there in 20 mins! I was @ work 40 mins away... they now can't deliver for another 4 days! No-one is taking ownership and pointing fingers. In the meantime- I'm without a fridge for 4 more days! Pissed!! read more

Bought a couple things here, both broke inside a year, I was referred to the manufacturer who doesn't respond, so I'm out of luck again, and have to purchase a 3rd microwave inside 2 years. The fact that a business 1. Carries garbage product (Bosch). 2. Doesn't stand behind it. 3. So focused on that next sale that they won't even take the time to help, simply give me a phone number, and send me packing even though I tried calling manufacturer (Bosch) several times with no luck. Pros: Great deals on appliances and the sales team customer service is very good. Cons: Installation is awful. We bought new kitchen appliances from Appliance Factory and had them install. All was well, until I did some work on the kitchen cabinets and noticed a few interesting things about the dishwasher installation. 1. The installer had extended the romex electrical cable coming out of the wall by splicing the wires in a duct tape "electrical box" (see the image I uploaded) 2. We have no air gap, and from what I understand the "high loop" is supposed to be done as an alternative. It was not. It's so easy to do too, it is literally just a hook that hangs the tube up high so that waste from the garbage disposal doesn't get used to wash the dishes. Now all the times that the dishes came out with little chunks of debris all over them is no longer a mystery. read more

I was in need of a new refrigerator in April. Purchasing and delivery went seamlessly. With some extra money, I purchased on Sunday and took delivery on Thursday. Then, my new freezer decided to stop working for a full day. It then happened again a week later. I had both Brand Source, who is the servicing arm for Appliance Factory and LG, the manufacturer in my home to make the repairs. I was devastated that my new unit was not ever going to function correctly. Zack Pederson, the store manager stepped in during this process and stood with me as I worked through LG Six Sigma system and demonstrated the Voice of the Customer, which fell on deaf ears. Zack then worked with his corporate leadership to allow me to make the necessary adjustments and favorably resolve my issues. read more

This place was absolutely terrible. My family and I just walk into the store ready to spend our money to buy a washing machine. There were 5 employees sitting around the main desk having conversations with one another, and not even acknowledging that we had entered the premises while knowing we were there. We had to walk up to them just to get some sort of humane response. Once we asked for them to show us the washing machines all we got was a shrugging of the shoulders. These people quite frankly didn't show any interest in making a sale, and I am glad we didn't fund this company in any way. read more

Why 2 stars Well if it wasn't for Fred it would be 0. Apparently he's the only one that can do anything at this store. After over $20,000 at this store you'd think when there's a problem they would try and resolve it. Nope not this place. Not without digging for it. I admit I'm not always the easiest to deal with but being constantly treated like I'm a bother I certainly don't think is justified for a retailer especially with someone who has brought in that much business. Samsung offered to refund the full price of my fridge even though it was 1mo out of warranty. They did this because the "scratch and dent" "brand new" refrigerator I was sold by Appliance Factory was in fact a return that has been serviced at least three times before it was sold to me as new. And that's the good part of this story. Instead of waiting for a refund check I was told it could just be done as a store credit. Samsung processed this in about 2days, two WEEKS later and 5 unreturned calls to AF "Presidents Hotline" I went in the store and waited 2hrs for them to get an answer as to what the hold up was. Magicaly corporate called and said the credit was on file... Ok cool After being sold a used appliance as new the first time I said no way to another "scratch and dent" and purchased a brand new one at a $1200 additional cost on July 3. After all was paid for and complete I was informed the refrigerator could take anywhere from 4-8 weeks, probably closer to 4. Yeah it's Aug 15th and it was delivered this mor.... Oh yeah let me back up. I was told, quite put off by my call that it couldn't be delivered until Saturday. Really?!!? So after speaking with corporate a spot became available this morning. The truck showed up, I went to inspect the refrigerator... It's the wrong one. Call the store and I'm told "well just reject it and we'll get the right one out to you as soon as we can".... ARE YOU FNG KIDDING ME!!!!!! I haven't had a refrigerator for almost 3mo. And I don't even know at this point of they have the right one at the warehouse. Finally verified yes they brought the wrong model. Have to go to another job 1.5hr away "should be back" this afternoon. "Maybe 3-3.5hrs". It's been 5... I took time off work for this I didn't have to if I knew it would be late afternoon. Still waiting..... And you might think they said sorry (delivery guys did) or how can we make it right, or SOMETHING.... NOPE just rude, act like I'm a bother. I purchased a used dishwasher and a brand new apartment stackable washer and dryer. Both were lemons and broke down right after I brought them home. The dishwasher went in the trash and it has been nearly impossible to get the washer/dryer fixed, even though it has a 4-year warranty. They lied and said that my area would be serviced but that was not true. Do not buy an appliance from here because you might get ripped off. Go to Home Depot, Lowes or Sears! These people sold me a Samsung refrigerator with a 4 year extended warranty. After a year and a half, the unit developed a problem. They sent a tech to repair the problem, which he did, but created a different problem. Now they won't send him back and are offering to replace my fridge with an inferior unit and not even the same brand. I like my fridge, don't want something else, just want it fixed. I purchased a nice Frigidaire dent model off of the floor and got a very good price. However when I got the unit home the icemaker didn't work. It did work for one cycle and then never made any more ice. I was surprised to find out that in order to get service on this brand new unit I would have to go through a third-party service organization called "brand source". I won't get into the details but brand source is difficult to work with. I also learned that although I bought this refrigerator in September 2019 it was manufactured in early 2015. read more

My washer machine went kapow and gone,so I looked around and seemed to like Appliance Factories advertisement.I n every advertisement they advertised free same day delivery. I went to the store on w.Bowles and purchased a scratch and dent product.After getting the discount for the scratches I agreed to the price and made a point to ask if it was free delivery and would they take away my old washer and the sales woman said yes.I asked what time will it be delivered today.She said that is only for refrigerators.I shrugged my shoulders and said when can it be delivered.Turns out delivery was 6 days latter. Now the product turned out to be fine,but what irked me was free delivery was just a drop off at my curb.Not inside my house that was $40.more and hauling away my old machine was another $15. And BTW the curbside drop off was a $40. fee which would be rebated after jumping through online hoops. Turns out their free delivery was $95 with a Hoop jumping rebate for $39 . Buyer Beware. Once purchased you are on your own! I wish they had a zero star rating. When I purchased a Samsung Smart washer it was considered scratch and dent with a small (quarter size) indent on the side wall. This was a $1000 washer and I paid $850 for it. I was assured that was the only issue. So naive... I have had the washer for 3 years with minimal use (only two of us). 6 weeks ago it took a bad turn. Everything stopped working on some level and we could not use it. I called many repair shops and could not get a straight answer on repairs or what might be wrong (over the phone diagnostics). Finally I talk to a repair shop that made the time to go into some further research and found that the washer had been recalled...no parts, no way to fix it, no warranty honored. This washer had been recalled right after I purchased it and I was not notified by this seller. BAD BUSINESS! I called them and was told so sorry nothing we can do...we can sell you a new one! Right - no way I'll trust them again. I'd rather go to the laundry mat. Getting a new one from the people who took the time to actually help me and show me online where I could find the proof of the recall myself. So knew they were not bull shitting me. Horrific experience. Given the runaround on delivery dates for 6+weeks and the pandemic was the reason. Ok, I get there's an appliance shortage, but how is it possible to not be able to get a delivery date that is actually feasible and not pushed out every other week with zero notification until I call you thinking you have my stuff?? Also we placed order online and evidently this puts you in no man's land in terms of customer service/sales support, so they shouldn't have online sales. Zero stars! We purchased here because we wanted to buy locally and not from a big box store. Mistake!! Purchased almost $5k of appliances on May 29th. Freezer handle broke during install, the ice machine never made ice and a large dent was discovered, though this was new in box. Called manager, who by the end of the call was yelling at me. Husband called later, manager admitted to handling poorly and that they would take really good care of us to get problems resolved. Service came out a week later, knew nothing about the broken handle or door dent (which you can't open the freezer!) and the install never turned the water on to the ice maker. Really?? Called manager again and he told me to come pick up the handle and he would show me how to put it on??? I paid for delivery and install! It is now July 12th, I still have no handle and the door is still dented. Last time I talked to anyone they promised to personally make sure everything was done and they would give us a discount for our headaches. Multiple calls are not returned by either store or installer. My next call is to the owner. Ps I never complain! Ever! read more

I made a purchase for a washer and dryer and dishwasher with an additional small clothes washer which was a "dent and scratch" offer which I accepted at a discount. 1. I canceled the dryer due the the fact they didn't have a gas dryer due to delivery time. I also canceled the dishwasher because my wife wanted to due Business with her friend at BAC. The salesman was not real happy with the cancellation even though I bought the clothes washer from him. 2. When the small washer arrived it was not what I would consider a scratch and dent. It was in horrible condition like it had fallen off the truck. I refused the delivery and I have yet to receive a refund. It's now been 3+ weeks. Oh Appliance Factory. What a love/hate relationship I now have. Purchasing was painless, got a great deal on a Samsung Washer dryer pair. I had done a lot of research on my own in the weeks prior to making the purchase. Salesman who helped was knowledgeable and confirmed what I knew about the product. Sales was not pushy and gave us ample time to mull over the options. Price was unbeatable. Overall it was a pleasant transaction. The bad:-- BEWARE OF THE INSTALLERS - Hot and cold hoses to washer were installed BACKWARDS. Yep, backwards. So hot was connected to cold, and cold connected to hot. These appliances went into a new home, so it wasn't until two weeks later that their mistake was realized after shrinking a load of cotton shirts. Washer then started giving 4c2 hot/cold error. When you're paying professionals to install an appliance, you trust that it will be done right. Looking at other Yelp reviews it appears appliance factory has history of incorrect installations. I did call the store and was treated like this was no big deal. Was told: "Well that's weird. Did you fix it?" Not even an apology was provided for their mistake. Two thumbs down for the install. Nobody should have to pay $79 to have "professionals" install appliances incorrectly. Better off watching an instructional Youtube video and correctly installing them yourself. They also managed to scratch the washer door while moving it through the doorway into the laundry room. Triple thumbs down. At time of purchase was told I met the minimum requirement and qualified for the $35 delivery/install rebate. At point of sale nobody told me how to access this rebate, stupid me just assumed it would be e-mailed. Apparently you get said rebate by going to the Appliance Factory website by clicking the "rebate" tab in upper right corner. It would certainly have been nice to receive these instructions up front. Overall: Good appliance deals, horrible install experience, terrible customer service. ***UPDATE:*** The rebates they offer are a SCAM. Applied for the rebate November 29th 2017, it's now March and no such rebate has arrived. Checked the status online and it says "paid" I would love to know who they paid, because it certainly wasn't me. read more

I ordered a 4 piece kitchen appliance set from them. They pressed and pressed at the time of sale for me to take a scratch and dent instead of new. I passed. They delivered a refrigerator with scratches and dents. I rejected delivery of the entire set and asked them when they could schedule delivery of the new condition merchandise I paid for. They couldn't make any timeframe commitment at all, but mentioned both 2 weeks and 6 weeks. Needing the appliances I bought now rather than a month and a half later, I asked for a refund. They applied a 10% restocking fee (though at the time of sale they went out of their way to say the restock fee applied only if I changed my mind after accepting delivery). I told them a restock fee was unconscionable on an order I wanted and they failed to fulfill. The sales person was incredibly aggressive and rude while the "assistant manager" stood silently unable or unwilling to address the issue. Within 5 minutes I told them to take their fee, refund the rest to my credit card, and move on. They texted the store manager who was apparently at lunch. They berated me for a full 90 minutes on a restock fee I had already agreed to let them take. The store manager came back from lunch, complaining that I interrupted his lunch, and alternated between defending the restock fee, blaming an unseen "district manager" who of course didn't answer his phone, and trying to sell me appliances they didn't have and couldn't tell me when they would. After wasting an hour and a half in a one side argument I had stoped having, they processed a refund without the restock fee. read more

I know the did not send me a shipping rebate they were suppose to and I have been hounding them to do so for over 8 weeks. They would rather try to blame me because I am leaving bad reviews. This place has a customer service problem. They gave us a great price on our washer and dryer. The problem was when we ordered the pedestals, we explained to our salesman that the pedestals may make the washer and dryer not fit under the cabinets. He assured us we could return them if that ended up being the case, (obviously trying to make a bigger commission-based sale). Well then, no harm in trying them we thought. Wrong! They of course didn't fit, and low and behold they won't return them, at least not without a hefty restocking fee. Their truck even had to come back out in a separate delivery (because the first washer they brought us was smashed), at which point they could have easily taken them back. But they got our money, so now they don't care. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

I just bought a third or fourth kitchen appliance from Appliance Factory located near Bowles and Wadsworth in Littleton. I usually shop around at the big box and second hand stores and then just seem to keep coming back to this store. I think the thing that works best for me is that they can offer some scratch and dent or display models at discounts that beat out the competitors with similar products. They carry all the good brands and are good at listening to my particular wants and needs. Ask for Jim. He will listen first, then present you with his best options available at the time. Delivery options are easy. Seems to work well for me and my family. When the time comes to get a new appliance, and it most surely will, give these guys a chance to earn your business. BUYER BEWARE - not only with product - but customer service. Went to this place to get a used washer and dryer. Was told if I purchase a new mattress (which I needed as well) there would be a discount on it as long as I get a NEW washer and dryer. Was told there were new units that were discounted because of a couple of scratches. I was fine with that and a week later the two units were delivered. Installer did not even test the units out apparently. First wash and I discovered the washer would not stop filling. 3 hours later and the thing kept filling. Yikes! Sounds like a default in my "new" washer. Put the clothes in the dryer - no heat! The "new" washer came with a weathered looking manual. No manual for dryer. Called Appliance Factory and was told to call some place in charge of repairs. Called them and was told that since the items were new, we should contact the store - which we did. Called again to ask to speak to the manager- was told he was in a conference call. Called again and was told he was at the bank. Finally an associate called - not the manager- and said she was told to just refund us the money for the washer and dryer. Okay - meanwhile- it will take them a week to come get the defects. Out over a grand, no washer and dryer- no apology from the manager, nothing. Called again to speak to the manager and told him I was sure we were sold used units as they did not even have user manuals. He told me no new washer and dryers come with manuals as they are all online? I also had to tell him that we need to be refunded delivery and installation fees. Took almost a week for the money to get to back to the bank so we could buy new. I am very unsatisfied with the way we were treated. After the sale, you no longer matter to these folks and they are clearly liars or at best, unprofessional. Took our money to a big box company where we purchased two new units. And guess what? I would never go back to this store again. Bought a clothes washer and dryer middle of June 2020. The dryer broke after one month. It is now 8 weeks later and it will be another 2 weeks before it will be fixed, maybe. Appliance Factory washed their hands clean of any responsibility as soon as the appliances were delivered. They push it off on GE, and GE is saying the responsibility is with Sears, who has the contract with GE to service appliances in the first year of usage. I went back to Appliance Factory again to see if they could help. Talked to a Roger and he said he would contact his GE representative and get back to me by the end of the day. Still waiting on that phone call. If Appliance Factory cannot stand by the products they sell, they shouldn't be in business. Worst customer service in my 63 years on this earth. read more

I went in to replace my washer and dryer. I had shopped around at some of the other appliance stores and was shocked by the deal I found at Appliance factory! I ended up replacing my mattress and saved more money on my already discounted appliances! When the delivery team came out to install them, they were quick about it, incredibly polite, and they didn't damage anything. I will definitely come back and buy from Steve Phillips! read more

FYI, factory appliance warehouse. Worst customer service on earth when emergency occurred. Their product fails less then a week after delivery and they were so rude and no help. On what should have been one of the most exciting days of my life, thanks for ruining it. I'll be calling first thing tomorrow morning hoping there is a manager there to handle things since your clueless monkeys run wild on the weekend. Just hope you don't have $800 worth of groceries to replace for me as well. read more

Don't waste your time here. You are better off at Sears or just about anywhere else. What little $ you save,you lose in customer service. Terrible!! Rather than make a customer happy, they would rather lose $$'s in referrals and future sales. read more

Mike S. was amazing! I walked in not knowing much about what I needed to purchase and he took time to explain the pro's and cons of every model to help me come up with what would work best for me in my budget. I ended up needing to exchange one product, not anyone's fault but my own. When I went back to look for a replacement the sales rep was not very helpful so I left and came back when Mike was working. He set me up with another product that would work and I have been very pleased. When spending money on things that you plan on having for many years I think the quality of customer service is critical, I hope the other people who gave this place bad reviews gives it another try with a different sales rep. read more
