This used to be our GO-TO spot every morning to get water heaters (5-7 days a week) and tons of other things. We are in and out of HomeDepot 3-4 times a day buying water heaters and countless other items. So needless to say but, we spend A-LOT of money at this HomeDepot. We will no longer be going to this establishment. This morning we went in to get our usual stuff and when we came outside our trailer door was gapped wide open and a customer is telling us that someone just ran sacked through our trailer and they scared them off. An employee saw this happening and did NOTHING! The employee didn't even try to find us to let us know what happened. This place is TRASH i do not recommend shopping at this establishment unless you want to be robbed! The employees are careless and do nothing. They dont care about you or your stuff! They will literally sit and watch someone rob you as if they are being an accomplice. This is bullsh*t! If i could submit this rating with 0 stars i absolutely would. HomeDepot off of Post rd. I normally do not do chain stores, but this place definitely needed a shout out. I found myself having to visit here after the Home Depot that I normally go to did not have enough boards for the shelf I was building. When I first pulled into the parking lot, I noticed that it looked deserted and was very dirty. The staff there was not very friendly like I am use to at other Home Depot's. I was walking around the store with my patented "I am lost look" and not one employee asked me if I needed help. And I past many of them. Most of them did not even say hi. So,I finally found what I was looking for on my own (with the help of the app), the 96 inch Veranda White Melamine Drilled Wood Shelf. My next mission was to get board cut. After about 10 minutes, I finally found someone to cut the 8 foot board (hard to fit in my truck as it was anyway). I was initially told that they could not cut that type of board for safety reasons. I had two thoughts. My first thought was that I never had a problem having the board cut at any other Home Depot. Second, so, it is a major safety issue and you expect me to cut it with my little circular hand saw versus your powerful table saw. Ummmmmm, ok. After I told him that the other Home Depot cut the same identical board for me two days prior, he agreed to cut. I asked him to cut it to 6 feet (72 inches). However, you could tell that his heart was not in it. Anyway, fast forward. I get home and the board was 1 inch shorter than the board that was cut a few days prior at the other Home Depot. It was cut to only 71 inches. Instead of going through the hassle of taking the board back and getting a new one. I had to take my life in my own hands apparently and cut the board that was originally cut to the correct length to match the one that was cut to the incorrect length. This is piss poor service. It is unacceptable and I expect more from Home Depot, which normally they do deliver. I definitely will never be back to this one. read more

This Home Depot has been my go-to hardware store for a while now. Yesterday I went there with the unenviable task of replacing my toilet. After picking one I had some questions. I came across Thomas (Specialty Supervisor) and asked him for help. He was super friendly and ended up printing off the install instructions for me, sending me off with everything I needed to know. Very knowledgeable and a nice guy too! Every one at this store is super friendly and my good customer experience continued all the way through checkout. So they get five stars! *The only note from me is they often do not have the little special problem solving items needed when working on a house built in 1921. If you have a very old house you may know this already. But newer homes should find everything they need here, I suggest you check them out either way! read more

Tried to get one color of paint mixed. The clerk took the van back to the shelf to tell me they didn't have that color, so I said I'd get a different color. Told they didn't have that color either. They seemed more interested in chatting than helping the customer. read more

I was so disappointed during my visit to Home Depot that we put our purchase back on the shelf and we left without accomplishing our project. I brought my (broken) elevated dog bed frame into Home Depot to find replacement pipe. I wasn't certain which pipe would be best, so we searched for knowledgeable staff. Those employees that we did encounter were stretched thin and did not understand the products we asked about. Luckily, a smart customer directed us to steel gas-line pipe with connectors!! We discovered that standard sizes weren't quite right and we would need to purchase pipe 'Cut To Fit'. There were no employees in any nearby aisles, so I called the Pro-Desk and asked them to send an employee to operate the pipe cutting equipment. After 15 minutes of waiting, we abandoned all of our potential purchases and left feeling disappointed. Our experience is illustrative of a larger social issue. Employers like Home Depot refuse to pay workers a full time, living wage. So those part time employees are overwhelmed, under-educated and disengaged. I'd rather spend a bit more at a professional plumbing store... so I looked up Plumbing stores and found there are several in the area. I'll be taking my business to one of them. read more

Bought very expensive gas dryer with $100 of parts AND paid an installation fee. Website clearly says this includes stacking. On delivery day guys say they will not install because I didn't buy the washer from them? So they threw it on the kitchen floor, left, and did not leave any of the parts I bought. Customer service totally rude and useless, with no offer to reimburse the installation fees I paid. The store telling me they have nobody with the skills to help me install... Over a month still no working dryer. THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU ARE A JOKE HOME DEPOT! read more

Amy is a HORRIBLE employee who I feel judged me based on what I wore (ball cap, hoodie, black sweat pants, and over sized glasses). I walked in and asked where the smart thermostats were. She told be that they keep them locked up that way people won't steal. So we walk over to the case and we're looking at them. I tell her I was looking for the Honeywell Smart Color and she finds it and shows it to me. I inquired about the price and she said it was $169. I stated that I saw that it was priced at $129 online but it didn't say ONLINE ONLY. She proceeded to say that they don't match their online prices. I then ask her do they have the displays anywhere so that I could see it out the box. She then said "no this is the only place we keep them because people steal them". So I ask here where the basic models were and she said behind appliances. I walk behind appliances and don't see them. So I go to find the others items I was shopping for. I ask another employee where the thermostats were and he told me. I walk to that area (which is not behind appliances) and what do I see, A FULL DISPLAY OF ALL THE MODLES THEY OFFER INCLUDING THE SMART ONES. Not to mention that it was priced at $129 like I said. I go back up front to have someone get the box out of the case then they directed me to Amy. I tell her that they do indeed have them displayed and the price was $129. She begins to ring be up and tells me my total. She's looking at me while I'm pulling the gift card out of the pocket of my hoodie. She attempted to ring it up 3 times before saying you'll have to get a new one because this one isn't scanning. I asked her why do I need to get a new one when I'm redeeming this one. I was super irritated with her and her BS antics. When I left I called the store (because I had other things to do) and spoke with Sean (ASM) and he was basically like that's not like her and was very apologetic for her actions. She needs more training and education on what is displayed at this location. read more

They directed me to the counter to take care of the keys. I press the button and was quickly greeted by the attendee. I have three keys made within several minutes and was on my way. Everything I have gotten from Home Depot has broken. My garage opener lasted a year My $2500 fence I put in in July needs to be fixed already, and the wood is not the best. My brand new door I put in in June, the lock beke in Octobef and is already being replaced. I most definitely am done buying anything major from them any longer. I will give Lowe's or Menardo's next. This is our home improvement store of choice when our small neighborhood store doesn't have what we need. The customer service is consistently excellent, which is definitely what sets it apart from the other options out there. The only reason I hesitate to give it a perfect score is that they occasionally do not have (normal, not weird) products we need. We find the prices to be very reasonable. We've also witnessed their employees being treated very respectfully by management, which is something we like to support. There's always someone available to help us find the weird-sized board or screw we need, and for that we are thankful! read more

Spent 9000 on flooring and have been waiting an hour to get loaded after we called ahead.

Avoid Home Depot at all costs, you will appreciate the saved headache. I have only had atrocious work done by them. 6 MONTHS for a single room for flooring and they said that was normal. 5 different times they came out to measure, an additional 5 different times they came out to try and install and failed due to failed preparation. In the end, they didn't even install the entire room. When we confronted their management about this, they informed us that this was a typical install and did not warrant discussion. read more
