Always a good time and this location. I can go in here no plans just vibes and associates are combing the store ready to help. I love the events they have teaching different skills or product use. We even went to one for kids and my son got to make a bird feeder. Prices are good, I don't find things too expensive. I love that customer service doesn't give you a hard time and can look up returns or exchanges by the payment type. They offer military discount. I just wish we had the ability to tap for payment. The last time we went into Home Depot was to get some brick and volcanic rock for a project we were working on in the back yard. The rock and brick were great. so rented a small tractor for 1 day. on the contract it states to return on April 20th at 7:30 am. I asked the guy when picking it up if there was special hours due to being Easter he told me no we open at 7am. I came in today little after 7 and everything is locked. I went over to the rentals door which was open and a lady asked me what I was doing in here as they are not open. I told her I have something to return and it's on the contract for a certain time. long story short the asst store manager came over told me to leave and asked how I even got in the store. I told her the door was open. she did not care what my contract said kept interrupting. another guy came over from the rental dept and backed up her and gaslighting me telling me that the contract only says that because I reserved it online. not my fault if the Home Depot website is not on the same page as the store this is an internal problem not the customers. i told them I have plans and just wanna drop off the piece of equipment and get along with my day. they then told me to leave the key and if I have to leave it then so be it they will charge the card on file and if it doesn't go through it'll go to collections! wonder if roles were reversed and if I return the equipment later if I would get charged or not?? hmmmmm well it's Sunday I'll be talking with corporate tomm what an awful experience! read more

I always have a bit of anxiety when going to a place like a Hardware/Do-It-Yourself store since my experiences have largely been the folks who work there don't want to help you out. There are times they'll keep walking by me when I'm telling them I need their help. I put this out there since this is the vast majority of the experiences I've had with such places, and hence, my anxious feelings when going to such stores. Well, I was VERY pleasantly surprised to the contrary when I needed to rent out a piece of equipment from the Lake Elsinore Home Depot. The first person who helped me - - I wish I'd gotten her name - - was very kind and helpful to me. I needed to do a little more shopping and when I returned, a young gentleman by the name of Luciano helped me. Let me tell: he was SUPER nice and helpful to me! I feel the Home Depot should reward these employees of theirs since they are taking the time to help the customers and going above-&-beyond the otherwise simple "here-u-go" attitude. 5 stars without a blink of an eye! This review is solely based on the rental place as that is where my visit consisted of. I went in to rent a tilling machine for my backyard. I called ahead of time just to make sure that there were some machines available before driving out there. I believe the employee's name was Dave and he was very helpful. He told me they had various sizes and they were available for rent. I showed up and had another gentlemen help me. He answered all the questions I had and then proceeded to show me how the machine worked and made sure it was all in order before renting it out. The only issue I had was that when I returned the machine, they only had one employee working in the rental department. This was not good as there were quite a few people in line and it takes time to go through the rental process, inspect the equipment/vehicles, etc. There should be more than one person working that counter in my opinion. I was there for about 45 minutes and nobody else came back to help the guy. Aside from this issue, everything else was a positive experience. read more

Buyer beware! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY appliances from Home Depot in Elsinore. 1st attempt at delivery: they gave me less than 12 hours notice (it was 8 PM, and they scheduled delivery from 7-11AM the next day.) I couldn't be there since I work, so I rescheduled for Saturday. 2nd attempt at delivery: I never got notice of when they would come. I called at 10 AM, they had me down for 3-7 PM. They showed up at 6:30 WITHOUT THE POWER CORD. I tried to bargain and plead with them, even offering to go buy another one myself, and they said no, they had to go, but they'll leave the dishwasher and come back Monday to finish installing. I made arrangements for my parents to take delivery (again, I work.) 3rd attempt: Shocker! They said absolutely no way could they come out today (Monday,) but they could come out Wednesday. Nope! 3 strikes. I'm done! I will never buy anything from Home Depot again. Do yourselves a favor and shop elsewhere, or you'll regret it. The worst part is, they can't even come for 2 more days to pick the thing up, and then I have to wait 3-5 more business days to get my refund. AND they want me to wait around for another 4 hour window (which I have zero control or say over,) which will be determined 4-12 hours prior to them showing up. So, no, I'm not doing that. They can pick it up off my driveway, and hopefully I'll be done with them once and for all. Edit: Home Depot reached out and offered me a $50 gift card for my trouble. Laughable. Like I'll ever set foot in a Home Depot again. I bought a new dishwasher from Lowe's and had it delivered and installed before Home Depot could be bothered to come to my house again. All of them pretty much looked at me and then did nothing and one of them just said it's right over there in a clear box with no instructions or nothing just go look for it again. I initiated a return refund on 4/12. On 4/19 my debit card bank says Home Depot have not sent actual funds for my refund. I contacted home depot customer service, I get 2 different answers. The first had no idea wth they're looking at, the other rep confirmed the store failed to release the funds. This is the second time home depot failed to issue my refund in a timely manner.
