Since I'm in this area on Mondays for volunteering, I placed an online pickup order here because they were one of the few Home Depot locations that had the item I needed in stock. I received an email letting me know my order was ready, went to the pickup counter, and the associate simply scanned my barcode. In less than five minutes, I had my order and was back out the door. There was no line, and the process was quick and efficient. The parking lot is spacious with plenty of parking available. This Home Depot seems a little smaller than some of the others I've visited, but it had exactly what I needed, and the pickup experience was excellent. I was only in and out because I had somewhere else to be, but based on this visit, I'll definitely use this Home Depot again whenever I'm in the area and they have what I need. read more

So we just bought a house and we upsized! So now we need a ton of Christmas stuff to put on the lawn etc. Our first few HD trips to various locations did not net us enough items, we needed a lot more. We were in the area recently, and my wife preordered a few items, this was one of the few places that still had the projector lights. We figure this year its easier to spend $150 and put up a few projector lights than buying 95 strands of lights lol. That is for next year to figure out. We also picked up another inflatable for the front lawn as well as a few more extension cords just in case. About a half hour after my wife ordered the stuff for pickup, it was ready! Amazing service! She then picked up a few other needed items, as well as returned extra items that we purchased elsewhere and we were on our way home. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. All in all, it was a nice experience. If you need anything from a HD its as good as any. read more

I pre-ordered a plumbing item to save time. I did not receive email verification that it was ready, but arrived early anyway because I have a busy day. I was reprimanded by the customer service team for arriving early and proceeded to get the item off of the shelf myself. I returned to another customer service associate who was rude but not as much as the 1st. BTW, I am recovering from a stroke, and walk very slowly with a cane. You would expect better service based on that alone. I don't expect help, because I get better physically as I do things myself. But I'm thinking of the next person. read more

When Home Depot first opened they were awesome. That was then, times have changed. This location insists on having almost every customer use there self checkout lane. I was here on a Saturday morning, busy time of day. One cashier with at least six people in line. I go to customer service to get rung up. The lady there gets an attitude but does ring me up... All these retail establishments that are going out of business have one thing in common, THEY DON'T HAVE ANYONE TO RING YOU UP. If i have to ring my self up, I may as well stay home and shop online....?? I no longer use Home Depot, as Lowes is less then two miles away. read more

You might want to go elsewhere until the whole pandemic is over. I spoke to someone who identified themselves as a manager, to let them know that their employees (I counted 4 in the isles, and 1 at the register) were wearing their masks covering just the mouth, and not the nose. The manager said that it's difficult to wear a mask all day, so they try and be lenient. Sorry, but leniency during a pandemic is what makes it spread, stay away. read more

This review is for their appliance delivery service. 2 of 4 appliances delivered had a scratch or damage. I am not surprised by this since the protective packaging was taken off before the appliances were brought up 2 flights of stairs. The delivery person also refused to install my refrigerator even though free installation was included. When we got a second stove sent out, the replacement stove had a huge gash in the top so we refused the delivery. The driver informed us that he would be back that same day with a new stove and never showed up. When we called the driver, he said it wasn't his issue and to call Home Depot and quickly hung up on us. It has been over 3 weeks and I am still dealing with getting everything resolved because it is a lengthy process. You call Home Depot, but then they direct you to the manufacturer and depending on what the issue is, the manufacturer directs you back to Home Depot. I am disappointed in Home Depot's ability to make this purchase easy for customers, especially given the expense. read more

One day while checking out, I was asked if I want to sign up for a "card". Having been to Lowes about two weeks prior, they asked a similar question and it was in reference to a Rewards Card, where I could track purchases online, get e-mail offers, etc. This was a welcomed offer. Assuming it was a similar program, I said yes. Turns out she was signing me up for a Home Depot Credit Card. When I mentioned this to the cashier after she had filled out my application, she looked at me like I was an idiot for not realizing it was a credit card. No, Home Depot did not train her well enough in being direct without being vague. In terms of store quality, this location just appears worse than others I've been to. The workers are OK, but it isn't as organized or clean compared to the Deptford location. Considering there is a Lowes within a mile, I'll be frequenting there and only come here if absolutely necessary. read more

I live close to the cherry hill store, I'm working on my girlfriends house who lives closest to this location(Lawnside). The employees at Lawnside, for the most part, are miserable, and become almost irate at the slightest request for them to perform the most basic parts of their jobs. An example would be, asking a cashier if there is anyone working in paint, only to be met with a back and forth that felt like I was reasoning with a child. I will be driving to cherry hill location, until my gift card runs out, then I will be going to Loews. Customer service is all these brick and mortar stores have left, and no one seems to care. read more

Great people work here always helpful and polite it's a small store but it's easy to find things

Husband came here to get a specific type of cinderblock that said it was in stock online and when we got to the store it wasn't there. As we were looking at paint colors this loud group of teenagers/young adults is cursing up a storm at the front of the store. Apparently one of the young sales associates was related to one of the guys in this group and told him to be quiet to which he replied that he didn't work there and could do "whatever the f--- he wants" or something along those lines. Older staff members were just walking by doing nothing. I guess if you're loud enough and intimidating enough you can be just as disruptive as you want dropping tons of f-bombs and the managers won't say anything to you. Real classy Home Depot. read more

We were getting flooring inside of our house. We explained that underneath the carpets were not level when they came out to measure and the person who came out informed us we were fine. The installers (who were probably the only knowledgeable group in this whole scenario) ripped up the carpets and informed us we would get a $1600 charge to install boards over top in order to lay down the flooring. We are now inconvenienced for two days AT LEAST until we can level the floors for a cheaper price OURSELVES so we can fix the mistake that should've been addressed when the first person came out. There are plenty of store associates walking around but NO ONE could help us make a couple of keys. I even asked a cashier to find someone to help us and she was nice enough to call on the loud speaker for help. My boyfriend and I waited another 5-10 min (total of 20min waiting). Several associates walked by us and didn't even offer help. There was a lady talking to other customers and she couldn't even say "excuse me one second, can I get you help" ... customer service at its worst! I have always received great service at the Lawnside Home Depot. The staff is helpful and courteous. My most recent purchase was appliances and a countertop for my kitchen. The salesman, Raymond Spencer, was very helpful and guided us through the process of taking advantage of the best "Black Friday deal". My one complaint was with customer care, who misinformed me about a delivery charge, that would have taken me over my budget. It was straightened out by Raymond. Employees are already gone by the time the call comes and says another 1/2 hr. Can't pick it up in store because Bill the manager says "we can't do that".
