I've been to this Home Depot on multiple occasions for different things. The people are super nice and I've never had a problem with them. They're always helpful because I know nothing about anything when it comes to DIY projects. They always give me ideas and show me products that will help that I didn't even know existed! The only reason they are getting 4 stars is because I went in today to get my chalkboard that I bought there cut down a little and their saw was broken and wasn't going to be fixed for about another week. I always feel weird reviewing a giant, corporate establishment like this. I come here often to get things like light bulbs, air filters, batteries, paint, and houseplants that I keep killing. Prices are fine. Quality is fine. Service? Well, usually it's fine. Except for Paul in the paint department. I have never met someone that seems so thoroughly unhappy with his life than Paul. If you go up to the paint counter, he'll ignore you for a good 5-10 minutes until he's "ready" to acknowledge you. Then it's another 30 to get your paint. I imagine this is the department that most home-repair noobies visit first so you should staff someone there that is friendly. "Ooo. Great color choice! What room are you painting?" Paul just ignores you and then grunts and scowls when he finally does acknowledge you. He's the worst. read more

There is no good reason for me to give this Home Depot 5 stars other than that I want to. Is that wrong of me? There are two Home Depot stores relatively close to my new home in Centennial - one off Arapahoe and this store in Park Meadows. Maybe it's just that I love the Park Meadows shopping area, or that I can easily walk down to Old Navy while shopping at Home Depot, too. I dunno. I guess it really is the convenience of being able to buy paint and comfortable clothes in the same place - and go to TGI Friday's for lunch . . . or something. Oh well. I like this Home Depot and recommend using their Ralph Lauren paint - it's not overly expensive and it goes on SUPER smoothly. read more

When I went to pick up the order, they just pulled 2 pallets of material and put it outside. Over 1,100 pounds of martial! I had told them what kind of car I had. This is a decent HD. Its the closest to my work, so I've stopped in a couple times. The place is generally less busy than some other HDs, but the staff in general are just as helpful. I was searching around in tools and was helped by a younger looking guy. He did an awesome job. I did however notice a really cranky looking older guy scouting around gruffly helping a few people and not in a very friendly manner. Overall, its a decent store, with a little smaller inventory than others, but still very helpful staff. read more

We love Home Depot, and as recent home purchasers spend a lot of time planning and buying supplies for our home improvement attempts. This Home Depot is an alright location: the parking lot always seems busy (partly with a lot of people cutting over to Bed Bath and Beyond) and self-checkout typically has a line. Our one issue at this location was when we purchased pieces of wood and additional cuts for the wood. If you have more than 2 cuts, they cost 50 cents each. We had about seventeen cuts and the cashier rang us up for 17 extra 2x4 pieces! I noticed this when we got to the car (I was checking the receipt because it seemed a little high). We went back in and waited for our cashier to explain the overcharge and she directed us to customer service - who fixed the problem and refunded the overcharges. Otherwise, this Home Depot is fine. We prefer the one on Arapahoe road, I find it less crowded and the parking lot less hectic. read more

Arrived at the store early to avoid the crowds during the COVID pandemic to get some lumber for a bookcase project. Spent a lot of time picking out what we needed and approached the counter to ask for help with some cuts. The cranky person working the area immediately left the area when he saw us approaching. I had to go and track him down and when he saw me, without any greeting he immediately said "I can only do two cuts." He seemed overwhelmed and busy although we didn't notice anyone else in the area asking for his help. He was very rude to us. I understand at at time like this employees are overworked and tired but there no reason to treat customers this way. He could have taken the time to greet us and explain that he didn't have time to help but offer alternatives. I only needed 2 cuts on 3 boards so that they'd fit in my car. It is such a bummer. We left feeling defeated, without the lumber and a horrible experience. I wish I had something nice to add but it's stressful enough leaving the house right now and it's even worse leaving the house and not even getting what you set out for! Ridiculous!!! read more

HD in Lone Tree does not recycle plastic bags...contrary to what one might think when depositing such in the indicated recycle bin. It gets placed in the regular trash. Misleading and not good for the environment. Shame on HD. read more

This is my GO TO Home Depot even though there is another one slightly closer. Every single time I go in there (which is a LOT) there are always plenty of people available to help you. Not only that...they TRULY know what they are talking about. I've gotten several recommendations for power tools, plumbing supplies, building supplies, electrical supplies, etc. I even had the paint guy help me pick a color once that would match my floor tile and cabinet color and it worked out brilliantly!! He was great...even making suggestions for combining colors, etc. I just gutted and remodeled my entire kitchen for a show on HGTV (yes, it's true, look it up...Professional Grade) and came here for most of my home improvement needs (there were some specialty items which they didn't carry). BTW, this particular show did NOT provide a designer and carpenter to help, LOL. I did the entire thing myself. It got to the point where they would say to me "You're Back!" everytime I walked in :). I guess that can happen when you make multiple trips in a single day. We even bought our outdoor grill from here and it's been working for 7 years without a hitch! Love this store!! read more

I've never had a spectacularly bad or spectacularly good experience here. This is our go-to for home improvement based purely on its close proximity to home. We've accomplished many projects, made many returns and have been more or less satisfied. It is frustrating that I can never find a person to help when I need them, yet there will be five people asking me "how I'm doing" on days I don't need them; go figure. They do make the return process very easy and it's always quick. I've never had to wait long to check out. And I can usually find what I need when I need it. All in all it's decent, and proximity alone will keep me coming back. read more

I usually have two motives for going to Home Depot: 1. I need to buy paint. 2. Something broke in my house and I have NO idea what to do. Home Depot provides solutions to both of these for me. I come in here every couple of weeks or so just to browse the "Oops" paint section. I have found that this particular location offers a great selection and it's always in the same spot. I hate wandering around other Home Depots, aimlessly looking for some cheap cans of paint for a project I am working on. What I have also discovered is that the staff here is ultra friendly. I probably have at least three people ask me if I need help here, where with other locations, I have to wander the aisles looking for someone who can tell me what the little zig zag shaped looking wrenches are called (it's an allen wrench for those like me who still didn't know, I learned this last night!) This is my favorite Home Depot, even though it isn't the closest to me. I will drive an additional five minutes to come here and find everything I need quickly and (mostly) without embarrassment because of my lack of all things tool related. :) read more

I was in here on a Wednesday night and wanted to look at the flooring choices that they offered in order to figure out a cost for putting down flooring throughout my new town home. After looking at and touching the samples on display I was able to find a take home sample at no cost in order to take it with me and I was standing there taking pictures of the larger display of how the product looks installed which is what the in store sample displays reflect. Daniel noticed me taking pictures and offered me the option of samples. They were not busy and it was nice that I was able to get some personal attention to talk about the different options and I was informed about the current $0.89 a square foot installation charge for the flooring which was ending the next week. Daniel was instrumental in informing me about the ability to order the flooring and get it in time and at the store prior to when I needed it and then the ability to get better financing terms through Home Depots project loans which offer a substantially lower APR 6 months free financing with basically 8% for the duration of the project loan. That project loan was extremely helpful to learn about in order to take advantage of financing my month long project so as to be able to manage my cash flow in repaying it at a lower interest rate. I mentioned to Daniel that I was going to need help with a paint color choice and did they have a good colorist in paint department. He mentioned to me that Sarah in the paint department was really passionate about her position mixing paint colors for customers and it sounds as if she is the one that I need to return with some samples to get a good color choice for my living room. So very nice to know that even when nothing much is going on near closing time that you can still be helped by someone working in the store and they seemed interested in doing a good job. read more

It is a Home Depot! You get what you expect...except for lawn/patio furniture... This location seemed to have the standard stock of pretty much everything you need to, " do it yourself". So, I'll comment on what we came here for. The greeter, went out of his way to engage us and attempt to help us with grills and patio furniture. There were a ton of grills at great prices (and assembled!). Patio furniture, not so much. Not a whole lot of stock. I'd come back for tools and other supplies but probably wouldn't recommend for patio furniture. read more

I can not understand why HD has multiple items on their website that are not in the stores and some are not available for order. I asked their online Q&A service why this is. They simply apologized and left me hanging. I ordered 14 windows from them, but when they came in they were wrong. I ordered the right windows at Lowe's, they were in store within 2 weeks. I ordered a door from HD and it took 8 weeks to get. I ordered siding from HD and the order was canceled with no email, call or other contact. It seems HD doesn't have their shit together in special orders and their website administrators can not keep up with posting stock online. From now on, I will avoid HD at all cost. read more

I have been in twice now to get information on a project to replace kitchen and bathroom countertops. I have questions regarding process and differences of material, and edge finishes, etc. both times there is no employee to get information from. Today, there is 1 guy in an involved appointment with customers. No idea when he will be available. I wait 25 minutes hoping for him to finish, acknowledge my presence with an idea when someone would be available, or call another employee, or one might appear. Nothing. By now, another customer is also waiting and we can't believe there still is no one to help. There are no sales people available for information! I went to the sales guy in bathroom cabinets in the next "door" department. He can't help me. I ask if he can make me an appointment then. Yes, BUT, he really isn't sure if the online calendar is up to date, if the kitchen counter sales guy has his schedule in, etc, etc. sheeze. What a place. It goes on and on with this unprofessionalism and inefficiency. I've seen enough. I would be ashamed to work at this place, and no way I'd pay then a penny. I can't imagine their work ethic is any better than the first step at the store. Going to a professional. These Home Depot prices didn't seem to be any cheaper than an actual professional individual. Went in this store in a bit of a sour mood due to poor customer service somewhere else and the staff here really restored my faith in the craft of customer service. I was given great and honest advice about a landscaping project which resulted in me spending less than i thought i needed to. I wish i would have got the names of all the people I spoke with, but they all tried to save me money and i feel confident going into my project. I finally found 2 employees and asked if someone could cut one piece and the girl rudely snapped back and said "I will when I finish this" and walked away. Let me just start by saying I'm very disappointed, I spent a shit ton of money at your location today and you had 6 employees at the self check out lines, half of which were on there phones. 1) could they be more unprofessional?? 2) I asked one of the kids for help( chubby kid with glasses) because one of the rugs I grabbed didn't have a tag. He then presumed to tell me I needed to go all the way back and get a different one with a tag and that I could leave all my stuff there and he would continue scanning for me. 1) when your in retail customer service, in that situation it's up to your employees to actually help the customer. This company is completely inept & unprofessional. BBB rating of a D! And HD is still using them! They kept me uninformed and literally hanging for 3 months. When I finally called to check, they said the sold my slab to someone else and they don't know when they might get new product in. The incompetent kitchen/batch mgr. at HD acted like, "oh well, too bad for you." Needless to say, I cancelled my order and will NEVER use HD for anything of this nature again. Home Depot installed some windows in my home that were done so poorly they had to be completely redone. Water leaked inside and damaged my drywall. The screws holding the window in place were not even into wood. Two went into air behind the siding, one went through the window trim and came out in front of the siding. Home Depot will not stand behind their installation or pay for my repairs. They say I should have let them do the reinstall, not a chance! Stay away from Home Depot! read more

Calling Home depot service plan for the third claim on a mother board for a Samsung fridge I bought in July of 2013. Great to have the plan. Horrible that they sold such a terrible product that I have to call on it once again, as if unplugging it four times a year to reset the fridge when it randomly turns itself off isn't enough? Who has to reset their fridge like that? Obviously a faulty product. Don't know if I should be mad at Home depot or mad at Samsung but it would be nice to have a good product instead of a faulty one. Makes me doubt home depot as a choice for my double ovens and dishwasher I need to purchase. Are all their products faulty? Also I had bought a trash compactor from home depot, which when it was installed by them, they screwed the base down to the floor. Who does that? When the compactors motor went out in the compact position there was no way to pull it out from the cabinet. I only discovered it was screwed down when we had to cut the thing into piece to get it removed. I'm now Out 700.00 on their mistake. Need to buy a new one when that one could have been repaired if properly installed. Bought a washer and dryer and have had them out for those as well. I can't recommend them for appliances other than to say be sure to get their service plan. You are going to need it!!!!!!!!!!! Sad. I'm seeing other complaints about their faulty products. Very unhappy with this store. I ordered a patio door and waited two weeks longer than I was told I would have to wait for installation. I was told at one point that my door had arrived but the installer was not available for two more weeks. Finally, literally a month after the purchase, on the day of the scheduled installation I get a text from the installer saying my door is out of stock. I just talked to a manager who has no idea when we can reschedule. No idea when she can get me another door. Now it's winter.Very angry. read more

I purchased an evaporative cooler online and had it shipped to this store. The box was damaged and the area that the item is stored is up front. It is not secure. When I decided to not take this item and wanted a refund, the associate could not figure out how to give me a refund. After an hour of trying to be patient waiting for the associate to provide a refund, I took the item home. Now I have a $415. Huge fan that does not do as it I supposed to do according to the manual. I will NEVER EVER shop online and do a ship to store again. Also, I will NEVER EVER shop at Home Depot again. I have emailed TeamSocial@homedepot.com and no response I have called this location Today and this past Saturday; I spoke with two different managers that said they would get back to me. I was requesting to speak with one manager that gave me his card the day I took my item. I told him that It would be difficult to return this evaporative cooler since I broke a bone in my foot in the winter. This manager said he would pick it up for me. We are updating our kitchen and have been spending money at this location on needed materials. Sorry to say this will be the last time we spend our money at this store. We understand people don't like their jobs and are busy or tired, but today was an exception. We scheduled an appointment to meet with someone (name known but not disclosed) in the kitchen/counter department JUST to pay for our order already processed. At 1:00 today, employees at the customer service counter told us that the associate (who was the ONLY one working that area apparently) was on lunch and she would not come out to help even though we had scheduled an appointment. Waited 45 mins and was told by this woman, "if I knew it would be this easy then I would have come out sooner". The associate who set up the appointment was great and was actually helping us out by making an appointment for us. She was doing her job and treated us kindly. We will be filing a complaint with the store regarding this other employee. The other associates are good, but unfortunately this one lost our respect and desire to return. Her poor customer service skills and desire to do her job is losing this store money. Story continues! Contractors broke our disposal, took our sink without permission and lost mounting pieces to our new faucet. Project manager was not helpful when told about our issues and referred us to speak to Home Depot about them. They never called us when they were informed about the problems. We paid for install which was not even done! We had to purchase a new disposal and my husband installed it. So over this store and their lack of service or care for their customers. read more

Staff is always very helpful with finding what you need regardless of how weird a project is. Always staffed enough to have an easy check out process. The parking lot can be a little crazy at times but it's because it's by a popular mall so be cautious driving through there. read more

I went into Him Depot tonight needing help finding concrete resurfacer and paint. I had asked a cashier to call someone but no one came. I was looking around, lost, when a handsome gentleman in a cowboy hat asked if he could help. I asked if he worked here and he said I,m off, but I an help you. He d been there since six AM but he kindly and patiently found the items and explained their uses and differences. His name was Brandon Mason and I want to thank him for his willingness to help an old grandma. One more reason to shop there. read more
