I just deliver the goods here, don't actually shop here. So overall the delivery guys/gals are pretty nice and quick in unloading the truck (most of the time). Store seems pretty nice and clean also. Nice big plaza with a lot of stores around and a mall close by. read more

We ordered siding through them a few weeks ago. It was supposed to be delivered last week but it didn't show up until today. It arrived and the order was completely jacked up. So we have had this charge on our credit card paying interest for three weeks only to have to be completely refunded today. The manager spoke to my husband and basically laughed and said tough break. We don't find it funny and this isn't the first time this particular Home Depot has screwed us over. We will not be returning to do business here anymore. We let the first few times go because they could have been honest mistakes and didn't have time delays for any of our projects. This time is different and we were completely caught off guard by the magnitude of the screw over. The manager's complete lack of concern was also not appreciated. He just kept saying there was nothing he could do. My husband asked if he could maybe try and he said nope. Can't do it. I would suggest going to maybe any of the other Home Depot's in the area until maybe management gets cleaned up at this one Just to update. We went ahead and placed another order with Home Depot at a different location. Again not the best experience. We ended up returning those materials and shopped somewhere else. Best possible choice. We ended up saving about $300 going with a different retailer. I never did reach back to the Home Depot that responded to my review. I feel if I have to do even more work and more paperwork in order to have a positive experience with Home Depot; than I think I'll shop elsewhere. read more

I'm sorry there isn't way way to associate this review to Home Depot online. I am so disgusted with HD right now - purchased a washer and dryer via Home Depot.com. Was scheduled for delivery on 11/20. Got a voicemail last night that they would deliver between 3-7 p.m. on that date - non negotiable. It is now 9:02 p.m on 11/20 and my washer and dryer are not yet installed. I called the delivery service at 7:13 and they gave me an 8:30-9 p.m. window. Called again at 8:55 and they said they were 1 minute out. Really? I want the guys that have been out working 15+ hour days installing my gas dryer - which I paid extra for, by the way. And the thing that suck the most is that you have me between a rock and a hard place. I could say I'll reschedule and go to bed (like I should be able to do this time of night) but then I'm waiting for days to get my washer and dryer. But here's the deal... If I wanted to wait that long, I would have bought this set from Lowes. Their prices were better - just a longer wait. Frankly, I'm so angry right now, I could easily promise that you will never get a dime from us again. I know that doesn't matter to you big box stores but really, you suck at customer service and I'm tired of being a victim. If there were negative stars to give, I would. read more

Purchased 6 appliances and had to wait 4 months for delivery of all items. The people that delivered the appliances are a 3rd party company and not affiliated with home depot. They pulled up with a rental truck from enterprise. Once the team started to uninstall the appliances there were automatic appliance issues due to water shut off valves not being right next to where the units are located and washer valves. The driver told me that he would put in work order for a plumber to come out and fix everything and since it was considered an emergency the plumber would call me with 48 hours. Fridge and dishwasher left in my garage. This was on a Saturday, so I told the guy when they would be back and he said once the plumber finished they could probably be back out on Monday Tuesday. Monday came around and no one had called. I called and text the delivery guy and never received a call back. Tuesday came and I called the delivery guy again and had to lvm for him again. He called back very unprofessional and rude. He told me he said 48 hours and that no one works on Sundays and that I had to wait, he told me he had never said anything to me about Monday or Tuesday and told me he would never say something like that. He then told me he had to go, he had another customer. I was very upset as to being treated so rudely and I am your customer, when did I stop being your customer?? I called home depot and got the delivery team rep. Let her know my issues with appliances, timeframe, delivery driver etc. She gave me the number of the plumber (yet another 3rd party company). I decided to wait till the end of day Tuesday to see if the plumber would call and nothing. I called the plumber and the guy told me that it was a lot of work to do this and he could not come out till Friday 2/12 between 2-5. Plumber also told me the delivery guy had only subd one item to fix, they did not know there was 3. Called back Home Depot and was told they only use this one plumber but if I wanted to I could get the plumbing done with another company but they would not pay for it. I was told that since the plumber was coming out on Friday 2/12 the delivery team would come back out Monday 2/15 to complete installation of the appliances. Friday 2/12 plumber arrives at 3:30pm. He could not complete the work on the refrigerator because he did not have pipes in his truck, not sure how you dont have copper pipes in your truck if you are a plumber. Plumber had said he had been getting home everyday after 7pm and it was Friday so I would have to reschedule to get the water valve put in etc. Delivery team was to be back today 2/15 to install all appliances. My window of this was between 10-2. I get a call at 11 that my delivery/installation was canceled due to extreme weather conditions. I called the number back to get a rep, I was told due to extreme weather conditions they could not make the appointment. I asked what weather conditions, it had been cold but that is all. I could not get an answer and was told they could reschedule me on Weds 2/17 for installation. The call dropped and could not get anyone back on the phone. I called home depot back and was told their systems went down. I got another call from the delivery company saying all appointments were on a one day delay, so everything would be delivered on 2/16. Home depot rep called me and stated that she was not sure what was going on with the delivery company and gave me their number. She said that the delivery companies trucks froze and no deliveries were getting done today and possibly could be done on Wednesday 2/17. I decided to call the delivery company directly. I was told to ignore the call that I got about the 1 day delay, it was incorrect and also to ignore the call I would get later this evening because they are not sure when they can get out to me. He told me he has me scheduled for Wednesday but to take that with a grain of salt because now they have to make up for one day out of service. He said they have to take care of the customers for Tuesday deliveries first before they can do the ones for Monday. He said they dont have enough staff to fulfil the orders and people will have to be squeezed in. So this continues! So with all of this never order anything that has to be delivered/ Installed from Home Depot, if you can not take the products home yourself consider it to be a never ending revolving door. Had to wait so long to get these appliances then have to go thru all of this mess. This is a lesson learned for me and I will never purchase anything from home depot again. I have always gone to Lowes and not sure why I decided to go to home depot, this wont happen again. read more

Had a great experience couple weeks back and wanted to make sure I gave credit to an outstanding salesperson, Dan in flooring dept. Recently moved to Highlands Ranch from Los Angeles and was looking to get information on hardwood flooring options to replace carpet in my basement. He spent the time explaining the different options between laminate wood, hardwood, and engineered wood. He reviewed the installation guidelines and expectations ensuring that I knew how much time would be vested in preparation in order to install later in the fall. it's not too often that you go in these big box home improvement centers and you get quality service. though I'm not ready to purchase because of some other home-improvement plans I will definitely go back to Dan in a couple months when I'm ready because he took the time and didn't act as though I was keeping him from doing his stock checks or inventory counts. read more

Don't buy appliances from Home Depot. They have a no return policy. You have 48 hours to find a problem or you have to deal with the manufacturer. My cousin bought a refrigerator and found she has a problem opening the doors. The delivery guy told her don't worry it will loosen up in a few days. Well it didn't Whirlpool came out and couldn't fix it. It will take 8-10 weeks to get a new door. This woman is in her seventies and has major health issues. She hasn't got enough strength to go through this for 2 months. Lowe's at least gives you 30 days to return it. She has only had it a week. I guess I'm naive. I always felt if you purchased from a big box store you were pretty much covered if there was a problem. Not so. She purchased over the phone and no one told her about this lame return policy. Ordered a dishwasher from Home depot online, because Home Depot doesn't have ANY dishwashers on had for their customers. Received an automated call 4 days after the order and an email stating the order would be delivered from 7am-7pm. Home depot's delivery service contacted my at 2pm while I was at work and said you have 15 minutes to be here or the order would be moved to the following week. Lady on the line said that they delivery until 8pm, but delivery times are generated by a computer, and she had no ability to schedule a time that works for the customer. I asked if the dishwasher could be delivered to the store, as it is only 3 miles from my house. They couldn't do that either. I then called the store and talked to Bill (O'Brian?), who is the department head. He told me that he couldn't do anything to resolve the issue, and that he "could sit here and argue with you" but nothing will change. Pretty poor business. No calls or effort made by home depot to deliver the dishwasher in a time that works for the customer, or at least deliver it to the store?! Terrible customer service! We have shopped and purchased many items at Home Depot. Two years ago, we needed a new washer and dryer. We ended up purchasing an LG washer and dryer from this store. The washing machine is supposed to "sense and determine" the necessary water level. It does not work. We are starting the machine over several times to get the water level high enough. We have spoken to LG and had a recommended service person out to determine a solution. As an aside, the manual is incorrect in various areas such as the amount of soap needed. The LG folks now suggest cutting the amount in half which is contrary to their published manual. We tried a few of the service person's suggestions and nothing works. This is a 2 year old machine. The pair cost over 2,000.00. I tried to speak to the manager at this store, Lisa, and she suggested that you must have an extended warranty to get any assistance. I asked her to speak to the tech and that conversation ended quickly as her premise is that you have to spend more to get considerate follow-up. Home Depot is selling merchandise and ignoring valuable info related to customer satisfaction and reliability. I would not buy another appliance from them. read more

I love Home Depot. That being said, their customer service team leaves something to be desired at this location . I have called the store prior to my arrival to ensure an item would be in stock as we were about an hour away. Fortunately I was at the same location the evening prior and had seen it and all I wanted to do was ensure it was still there. The gentleman who took my call was clearly agitated that he had to help me and made a big spectacle about my asking for help. He then proceeded to tell me the items weren't there and that they were on a truck and will be a minimum of two days. Needless to say, my daughter-in-law went into that location within an hour of my call and yes the items were still there! Clearly he couldn't be bothered to help me. Then she proceeded to go in the self-help line and was told she was not next in line, there were other customers in front of her when she had clearly been waiting there. It seems to be a constant theme in the store just generally be rude! Happy holidays to all!!!! read more

So disappointed in Home Depot. I ordered my fridge on Black Friday to have it delivered at the end of December. One December 27th my fridge was delivered broken so I refused delivery. My second fridge was delivered January 11th, also broken. My third fridge was supposed to be delivered January 22nd but the delivery driver never showed up! I have now been living in my new home without a fridge for over a month. Every time I contact Home Depot I'm told to either call the delivery company or Whirlpool. Of course you can't get a hold of anyone at Whirlpool. I've had to leave a voicemail with the delivery company every time and no one has called me back. If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered carpet over 4 weeks ago which was a painful process in and of itself. The "flooring specialist" I scheduled an appointment with wasn't available at our scheduled time as he was on lunch and told his counter part not to bother him until he was done. This should have been our first sign to RUN. Once he finished his lunch he finally met with us, 30 mins after our appointment time. He then could not provide us with any information or pricing whatsoever so I finally walked away and left my husband to deal with him. Mistake number 2. He scheduled a measuring appointment but charged us double bc they were measuring for carpet and laminate flooring... made no sense to me either as it was only one person and one appointment and not double the work. After this we decided to transfer from the Stapleton store to the Park Meadows one hoping they would be better and order carpet through them. We placed a carpet order on the 17th of August after selecting carpet all on our own with zero help or assistance from any associates. No one was even in flooring and we had to have someone paged after we made our decision. We paid in full and were told we would receive a call in 7-10 days to get the install scheduled. On the 22nd someone reached out for pictures of our stairs which we provided a couple days later and then never heard back. My husband followed up on several occasions and did not hear back until September 6th. 3 weeks after we ordered carpet and she asked him to resend as she never got them. He did. On the 9th, 3 days later she said they had to be sent to compliance. Well come to find out now on the 10th, almost 4 weeks later that we have to have our stairs tested for asbestos because they have laminate on them. This is the first time we were even hearing about this. Oh but Home Depot doesn't do the testing. We have to find a 3rd party to come out and do it. The test is $360. We cannot get ahold of anyone to cancel, no one is returning our calls and now a project that should have already been completed is a week over due. NEVER AGAIN!! Who knows how long it will be before someone gets back with me. Horrible customer service and staff who is not at all knowledgeable. Someone return my calls!! read more

My family and I have been shopping at this Home Depot for almost 20 years with purchases including at least 7 appliances and all materials needed to remodel three bathrooms. Our experiences in the past were all good which makes this recent experience especially disappointing. We went into the store in Feb 2015 shopping for a refrigerator and the appliance mgr agreed to price-match a top-of-the-line LG. However, when it came time for delivery, there were several problems and missed deliveries without explanations. The asst store mgr, Jerry Draper, agreed to resolve the matter. However, he didn't call back and I had to keep finding him to get updates/answers. Each time he said he would get the matter resolved and we were owed a compensation for our missed deliveries. While all that sounded good, Jerry never actually did resolve any issues and, as for compensating us for our time and inconveniences, that was a big joke. He first said I had to call a number to get the compensation and then he gave me the wrong number. So, once again, when I could track him down yet another time, Jerry vacillated between saying either he would have someone call me or he would be back in touch. Again, a phone call with Jerry during which absolutely nothing was actually accomplished and I never heard from him again. Throughout this process, I tried to contact the store mgr, Jason Culpepper, but he would not return my calls either. So, I cancelled the order and refuse to deal with a store with such rude management who either ignored me or blatantly lied to me. I use Yelp a lot and really benefit from other peoples' reviews which is why I took the time to write this review. In the past I have always just walked away and said my only recourse will be to take my business elsewhere. p.s. I ordered the exact refrigerator from Amazon today and saved $200. read more

If there was an option to give this Home Depot location zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, this is the closest location to my home, so I have been forced to frequently shop there for various home improvement projects that I work on from time to time. And EVERY SINGLE TIME, the staff is either non-existent, or completely rude and unhelpful. At one point, I was even told by a male employee that "of course I needed some assistance finding an item, I am a chick after all." Recently, one of the "managers" Joe treated me as if I was a piece of garbage because I had the audacity to have the woman working the return register call him over to assist since she was having problems discerning my receipts. I was simply trying to return a few unused items I had purchased the week before, WITH my receipts. Apparently, though, that was cause for him to be condescending, rude, and even threatening. To top things off, Joe "stole" back two of the items I needed to return when he informed me that he couldn't be bothered helping me any further, thrust the items I had on the counter back at me, and told me "get the hell out of his store or he would call the police." All this because I had five items to return and he didn't want to be bothered looking up the sku for one that wasn't scanning properly because the sticker had been ripped. I wound up leaving the store very upset, and without two of the five items--I didn't notice until I got home because I was so distraught over the experience. So good 'ol Joe essentially took $25 of my money. I will NEVER go back to this location and will instead drive a bit farther to the location on Highlands Ranch Parkway, where the staff is actually friendly, helpful and completely accommodating. If you enjoy wandering around endlessly searching for an employee to help you, being treated rudely when you finally do find one and interacting with staff that doesn't seem to want to be bothered either doing their jobs or dealing with the public, then, by all means, come to this store. But if you aren't looking for that kind of experience, I'd stay FAR, FAR AWAY. Awful!!! read more

Another wonderful Home Depot experience. The staff are always pleasant and helpful, but their selection of products are so terrible. I have the hardest time finding 2" furnace air filters. Ace in HR has one kind. Home Depot has zero kinds. If you need a 1" furnace filter you are in good hands. I also think there were a few 4" or 5" filters floating around the shelves too. How can you not carry a 2" furnace air filter? Amazon.com, my lifeblood has the best selection of quality 2" furnace filters available, but the only problem is you have to purchase them in sets of 4, 6, and 12(the most common). I don't need 12 filters lying around my basement for a year or so. I went searching for a CFL indoor reflector bulb. This is a common bulb. Not at Home Depot! I didn't want a pack of 4 or 6 bulbs, I wanted one bulb, preferably a R38 or R40. I managed to find an R40. After I bought it, I realized it was a dimmable version which is probably why it cost $12.00. I will be retiring it. Next, I went searching for microfiber hardwood floor mop head replacements by Quickie. Nope. No luck in that category either. read more

I came here to get a Christmas tree and they did not let me down. They didn't have my usual go to douglas fir, but they did have the noble fir. The tree was very symmetrically pleasing and thus far has been drinking lots of water, keeping all my lights & ornaments in place, and hasn't caught fire. What more could you ask for in a tree!!!! The nice guys there strapped the tree onto the top of my Jeep and off I went. Not sure if you're supposed to drive on the freeway with a tree tied to your roof, but I did, and it stayed on all the way until I got home. Nice work home depot! read more

DO NOT buy appliances here!!!! They use Bailey's Moving and Storage to deliver and install, and they damaged two dishwashers and one washing machine that I purchased. If you refuse delivery, it takes more than two weeks to get a replacement, leaving you without the use of the appliance. This is very likely due to the fact that the dishwasher I bought was last year's model and discontinued, which they did not tell me when I bought it. When I brought this to the attention of store management, they had no idea there was a problem with the delivery but could only make me wait two weeks, but promised compensation for the loss of use of my appliances. After the third dishwasher was damaged and my cabinets scratched, I asked for a refund, which they provided. However, both they and their corporate refused to provide the compensation they promised. BAD BUSINESS! $5000 worth of appliances and 6 weeks of waiting with only 2/3 of what I paid for. Go to Appliance Factory Outlet. They had it in stock and they use their own people to deliver and install. read more

Our nightmare started when we decided to get laminate flooring with Home Depot and had it installed with a horrible company named Home Solutions back in Nov of 2017. We were told that the project would start 1st week of Nov. They sent a very incompetent group to do the floors and had to send 2 QC's after them to fix the mess they made. I literally have 4 "basic" steps that caused them trouble as no one knew how to do them properly. Our subfloors were cut, boards are still wobbly, our stair-nose are loose. Thanksgiving & Christmas we had boxes all over, could not even put up our Christmas tree or Cary any of our traditions with our kids. I called Corporate and they said " What is the reason you are calling Corporate" I explained to the lady what happened, she told me she would call me back in 48 hours and no one ever called us back over and over. I called them the month of May 2018, told them that my floors were finally finished March 30th 2018 and how much time this project took them to complete. Also how much time we were not able to make it to our jobs because of us having to be home for them to finish. The lady told me that there was nothing she could do, to call the home office. Never, Ever will I use Home Depot for any project. They subcontract the work to very inexperience people. I would not even give them a 1 star but have to post the comment I had too. read more

AVOID ALL SPECIAL ORDERS. Ordered a $4,000 custom front door and had multiple factory and mishandled ordering (HD order entry) issues. Had to pay installer to come back and spend 6 man hours doing repairs to get it fixed but cosmetic issues remain. Vendor gave very small refund that barely covered the additional labor but certainly didn't cover cosmetic issues remaining or many hours of time. HD did nothing at all. Their comical policy is that a door order is considered complete when the local delivery guy drops off. Never mind that many issues can't be detected until the crating comes off and the door is actually installed. I'd like to see a delivery guy wait for 3-5 hours for that all to occur before a customer deems it acceptable. I will take my business to Lowes and never purchase anything large from HD again (or small if I can help it). They hide behind ridiculous corporate policies and leave the customers holding the bag. read more
