This Home Depot was caught lacking, if there ever was one. The store lacked any real help throughout tools and paint while we were looking for stuff. Would have been a complete bust if it weren't for the dude in lumber coming by, making sure we got addressed. At least the needed tools were well stocked and affordable, otherwise we'd be up a creek real quick.

The sprinkler pipe melted and I have to replace it uggghhh. Shoutout to Jon in Plumbing for being exceedingly kind and helpful!! He explained the parts that I need, how to use Teflon tape, and how to glue the pieces together with the blue glue. Home Depot had everything that I needed. PVC pipe (not cut to order, though, so I had to buy two precut pieces). I know NOTHING about plumbing, so I needed help. I am now equipped with pipe, elbows, and couplers galore. Yay!

Says here it lasts "throughout the lifetime". Annoyed I left empty handed.

I went in looking for low VOC paint to paint the floor in our babies room. Trying to be responsible in my purchase after reading how harmful paint can be for anyone breathing it in I asked for assistance from the guy behind the paint desk. He pointed to an aisle and said look there. Nothing appeared to have low VOC. After browsing other options he wondered by me for a third time and I told him I wasn't finding any low VOC options. He said it doesn't matter because the VOC only lasts a few days....

Tomorrow post will consist of the fake tree warranty, post communication of the owner and how gifting a tree works at this place. The only reason I don't do a full review today is so I can calm down and write it correctly, insane! So, I just read the response again! Told to just wait... every tree in my yard, my neighborhood has grown all but this tree! That is the story you're sticking to! I will post pictures tomorrow, let yelp figure it out. Ok... had it! Done! -----//------ 4th time I was told to just wait. ---------///////--------- See previous post.... I won! I won! I won! I won a stick! I bet the nursery guys the tree was dead... and I won! For the last 6 weeks I get, wait two more weeks, 2... wait two more weeks... 2.... Talked to the owner wait 2 more weeks....6 weeks later and they sent out a very nice man to tell me... it's still alive wait two weeks. I guess what aggravates me most, my new tree could have been planted 6 weeks back, doing what it needs to do to start, get the rain settle, but they had to wait 6 weeks to make sure the stick was dead. You would think during the last 2 weeks someone would reach out and ask, how's the tree... maybe my picture of things are different in this marble we live on.

The staff is extremely informative and you can tell they live. and breathe plants. There are all types of different plant and pots scattered around this cute plant boutique, as well as, artwork that is located in the back of this store. Everything is ultimately for purchase, but the owner, has her own little special display, in store, that is only for sale for the right person. WARNING: this place is actually kind of hard to find. Apple Maps doesn't take you to the right location and I found myself driving to different places in order to find it. They also don't have a sign, which is why I knocked off a star. For everyone who is wondering, like I was, it is located right next to the Taco Bell with a cute white double door. They are in the same parking lot. The prices are actually very decent for a boutique shop so it's a good place to purchase a plant or two!

I parked in the designated parking only to stop for a few empanadas at Lazo but as soon as I saw this place right in front of me, I couldn't help stopping to check it out. It was like being in a botanical garden where entrance fee is free. Beautiful flowers/plants/herbs were meticulously lined up in different sections. Some of them (due to their vulnerability I guess?) are/were under large tarps. Vibrant and or colorful, you can think of several different words to describe how beautiful the entire place. Per the signs (found throughout the place), all of them are locally grown (hence the description "Colorado Native".) As a quasi-Colorado native (have lives in this state since 1998), this means a lot to me. Yes, I SUPPORT! I didn't buy anything in fear that I would kill it (as much as I am a nature lover myself, I don't know how to take care of plants/flowers) hence I cannot speak of the value part. Everything looked fairly reasonable though. I also couldn't speak of the service part as I did purchase anything but one thing I could say about the place is the fact that its workers were out constantly caring for the plants/flowers they cherish. And the entire place looked absolutely organized. That's a good indication that they must be solid in service. I want to visit this place again next time with someone who is an avid gardener. Conveniently located on the southwestern side of University and Orchard. The parking has plenty of spaces for shoppers.
