I had a 20% off appliance in store only till July 12th I also have a Home Depot card. They wouldn't let me have it because I didn't have the mailed coupon only a picture of it. Stay far far away from Home Depot appliance delivery. I ordered a refrigerator on a Monday and they said it would be delivered Thursday. Wednesday I got a text that it would be delivered between 1 and 5. Got texts through out the day giving me status and how many deliveries were ahead of mine. The delivery time kept getting later and later. Then got a text saying I was 2 stops away. Now first they are supposed to call the day before and 30 min before delivery. I never got any calls at all. So in the mean time i cleared all the furniture unloaded all the food from my refrigerator put it the most important stuff in the few coolers i have with ice a ran to the store for. The text then said i was next and the online tracking then said arrived. But no one was there no truck nothing (now I have been waiting by my door for 90 min. Just in case they got there early. Still no truck then on line it says sorry we missed you!!!!! Omg what the heck is going on!! I called the support line, Briana Was very helpful. She contacted the delivery company If a client is not at home they take a picture of the address to prove they were there. Turns out the picture was of the sky which of course is utterly unacceptable! Guess the deliver guys didn't want to deliver the refrigerator and completely lied about even trying to deliver it!!!??? Complete scum bags. So my 2000.00 refrigerator is now being delivered Monday morning. So now a lost a whole day of vacation. Lost half my food to spoilage probably 150 dollars worth. I had other personal appointments that afternoon I had to cancel with minor financial implications. So now I have no refrigerator for the 4 th of July holiday and am out of pocket another 400 to 500 dollars. Not sure if I will go to small claims court yet but this is beyond unacceptable. Let's hope my refrigerator makes it here Monday. I will never shop at Home Depot again for the rest of my life! Absolute jerks! read more

Had the WORST Experience in tool rental!!!! Make sure you know how to use the tool because they sure won't tell you. Mickey the person who checked me out was super unprofessional during the whole transaction. He Really needs to take a customer service class again before they put him on the floor. The attachment he sold me only held on by two threads on a 7" grinder and I felt it was unsafe so I called them once I noticed it wasn't going to work. I ended up talking to a manager who was super helpful and told me what I could do. I then headed in to drop the tool off and spoke to another manager who wasn't as pleasant " wish I got her name". I then was transferred to the other manager who I spoke to and she didn't seem like it was a big deal. I refuse to loose a finger so I'll just do my research on my own and not rely on Home Depot for any customer support!! Also you "CAN"T" use your Pro xtra ID at Tool Rental says "Mickey" I then went and spoke to Rich at customer service and for his Awesome Service and Attitude he's the reason I'll give it two Stars. read more

This review is for Raymer Express, the company Home depot uses for all of its deliveries. Home Depot won't help to resolve this issue so they are at fault as well. Easily the least professional, lying, worst company I've ever had to deal with in my life. This "company" delivered my new fridge from Home Depot in Nashua. They were several hours late and showed no respect for my property. They carelessly tried to force the new fridge through my front door, damaging my storm door in the process. They finally took the storm door off its hinges and laid it on the ground where the continued to step on it. When they put the door back on it would not close and they left without mentioning the problem. I called home depot claims department and it turns out Raymer Express deals with all of their claims in house. Karen dealt with the claim. Her name says all you need to know about her. Her guys said they never touched the door and never took it off the hinges. She said she has worked with them for 10+ years and they would never do something like that. Have you looked at the reviews Karen, they say all you need to know. In the end, she said that the storm door damage was probably done by a different delivery company (this was the only appliance I've had delivered in the last 6 months)and she denied the claim. From my understanding, Raymer Express does most of home depots deliveries in the Nashua/Amherst/Methuen/Lawrence area. I strongly advise getting home Depot to use a different delivery company so the don't ruin your property too. read more

We had a horrific experinece with the Merrimack NH Home Depot. We ordered a patio door with a custom insert. The door was ordered in September with an expected arrival on or defore Octorber 27. Installation dates were running one week I was told. We paid for the order in completion at the time of ordering. I followed up in early November and was told they were waiting on a part and would call within the next week. Followed up again the week after Thanksgiving with Angela in Millworks. She said she was sorry no one called back but she was working Thursday and Friday and would get to the bottom of it. Went into the store Saturday 12/3 after hearing nothing and was told Angela was not in. The gentleman in the department aplogized for Angela not following up but would leave a note for her again. Angela called 12/5 staing the parts were not in and were showing 12/12 arrival. She also stated install dates were now 5 weeks out. I requested to cancel the door. Angela asked me to hold and came back and said the parts were all in fact in and she would push to find an install date. We recieved a call from Angela stating the install date would be 12/21. We then the next day recieved a call from the install company saying the parts were not in fact in, would not be available until after the New Year and they would call to review the schedule then in January for an install date. I went to the store today and spoke to the Assistant Store Manager. He reviewed the file and said he agreed that the sequence of events and complete lack of follow up was very bad and he would credit the door. He said I would get a call back from Anglea's Manager when she came in to confirm the credit had been processed. Becky called me at Noon tdoay stating the Assitant Manager made a mistake and she was unwilling to credit the door as part of it was custom. I explained the events leading up to this request and she blamed custom ordered being backed up by the manufacturer. I told her this was not acceptable and I would not accept this quietly. Bizarrely she stated if I inferred litigation she could not longer talk to me. The lack of ownership, unwillingness to update every time they commited to do so, passive aggressive communication and could care less tone was just nuts. I had previously been told a panel arrived broken which was the delay. No one seems to validate that now. Home Depot Merrimack NH employees are not honest, they do not do what they say they are going to do, make commitments they do not keep and then feel zero ownership to it. I will never buy anything not on the shelf from Home Depot again. read more

So..we needed to replace a storm door leading into our walk out cellar entrance. There were doors we liked both at both Lowes and The Home Depot. I started the on line " project ' with both on the same day. I heard from Lowes within a week, they came out , took measurement and had our number in two days. The door was ordered , came in and installed today. The entire process took 25 days. Never heard a peep from Home Depot . In addition , Lowe's base installation cost was $100.00 less than big box orange! Lesson learned. read more

We had a few items to purchase but were specifically there to purchase some custom ordered blinds . We worked with a man named Justin. He was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I disagree with the first few posts in regards to staff... not sure who they are referring to but the staff are amazing.... they always say hello (at least the cashiers in the front do) and offer help. I know the customer service desk can be a little stuffy but we don't spend much time there so I cannot say much more. We always get impeccable service from Sheila the cashier and her manager Tracy... they always help us and are super friendly. The Home Depot in Merrimack is very similar to the other stores in southern NH. During non-peak hours, you can always find someone willing to help. During busy weekends, it's a bit more of a challenge. Their selection is adequate for most home projects, although on at least one occasion, we had to travel down the street to Lowes to find the brand or item we needed. In general, this Home Depot is convenient, local, and reasonably priced. read more

I love this store. Service like this doesn't come from suppliers on line. Today, I needed LED floodlights for outside, and a combination lock to prevent human intruders from returning to my duck house. I went to Home Depot, where I knew I could get help in person. First, I found the lock I wanted -- a lockbox with a combination lock. Then I went to the lighting area. I got help instantly there, from an employee, who showed me the exterior floodlights (I wasn't sure which ones on display were interior or exterior), and then he helped me to compare the LED lights. He explained the watts information, the Lumins information, and the importance of the light being water sealed; he showed me using a model the difference between different kinds lighting (some are brighter or bluer than others). And, he then made a suggestion as to which light is better for my purposes and more cost effective. When I went to the register, I asked if someone could help me to set the combination on the lock (I didn't want to get home and find I was unable to do it following the directions inside the package). Someone was available immediately, opening the package and walking me through the actual setup of my combination and demonstrating how the lock worked. I left the store fully equipped to "install" the lock and the lighting, delighted to be able to be 100% certain in my knowledge of what I was doing. I ordered a Weber Grill online to be delivered to my home from this store using their Scheduled Delivery service. The team in-store packaged the wrong item (a smaller grill that doesn't fit my needs), but charged me for the more expensive item that I ordered. I've attempted calling this store 8 times over the last 5 days to resolve the issue and keep getting the run-around, and am constantly told that someone will call me back; they never do. At this point I've had to issue a charge-back with my credit card company as it's the only hope I have at solving the store's problem. I understand that mistakes happen, but all I expect is that when the merchant is notified that something was messed-up that they own their mistake, and make a good-faith effort to resolve it. My advice to others is don't purchase anything from this store if there'a any chance you'll need to interact with them after the fact for any type of customer service, they're completely incompetent. Update: Not sure if it was this review, my response to their survey, or the credit card chargeback, but after 7 days since I first called them they finally took ownership of their mistake and delivered the item I ordered. Doesn't change my overall feelings and I still recommend taking your business elsewhere if there's any chance that you'll need to work with them from a customer service standpoint after the fact. read more

Ordered simple runners for my stairs. They messed it up from the start. Had to measure two separate times months apart it took from may to august to get an install date. Bought a washer and dryer for a newly purchased home. Great quality and price. The downfall and the headache was the delivery and "installation" process. They were delivered on the day planned, although the stacking piece was not, therefore unable to be "installed". Over the next week we couldn't get an answer on when we could expect the delivery of the stacking unit and the installers to come. Having to take time off of work to be there when the installers came, was another frustrating aspect. Two and a half weeks after our purchase, the installers came with the stacking unit and "installed" the washer and dryer. They stacked them and left and told us they don't install. What? We had to buy specific dryer and washer hoses to keep the warranty, yet we did it ourselves, so how would HOME DEPOT even know? The manager promised to call us and somehow make up the frustrations we had. She never called and the two times I called her, she wasn't working. Needless to say, we've banned HOME DEPOT and simply go to Lowe's for all our needs. read more

I will not be shopping here again. We went into the store to purchase appliances. Their were zero double ovens at the store on display. We were okay with ordering online, so we ordered an oven and a dishwasher in the store. We purchased them both as stainless steel and both from the brand Whirlpool. We wanted them to match, which is why we chose to do them both as Whirlpool. The dishwasher was available as fingerprint resistant stainless steel and the oven was stainless steel. We assumed they matched (both said stainless steel) and we didn't have the oven to compare because it wasn't available in person. So our appliances arrived today and they blatantly do not match. I called today (a few hours after delivery) and told them they didn't match so I would like to exchange them (either/or/both) for matching appliances. They told me they were non-refundable and offered $75 per appliance. I just spent thousands of dollars on mismatched appliances so that is not satisfying. I do not want these appliances. I don't understand why they would sell us mismatched appliances in the first place. Who wants to spend thousands of dollars on a mismatched disaster kitchen? I will be highly discouraging everyone I know from shopping here in the future. read more

We rented a rototiller from this location. The salesman plunked it in our car and sent us on our merry way WITHOUT telling us to secure it with tie-downs. If you live in this area, this is the Home Depot to go to. The staff here is attentive and helpful. We've used their expertise from Kraig jig use, through fixing a doorknob, and now we're using squeezing their staff for gardening tips. We have never been let down by this particular location for speed, knowledge, and stock. The only downside to a good review for them is that more people may start going to this location. read more

While the prices at Home Depot are usually excellent, I would steer clear of this store for anything that involves customer service. All installations are subcontracted to the lowest bidder, so the quality is uneven. On the other hand, my most recent experience revealed that the installation crew was top notch and professional, but that the store completely failed with their customer service. I purchased a dryer, washer, and fridge for my newly built home. The sales associate and I discussed my building experience at length. It turned out that he had neglected to tell me that I would probably need a waterline kit for my new icemaker and a vent hose for the dryer. So, the installers could not complete the process. I called the store and they were very apologetic, and told me that I could come and pick up the items and then schedule someone to come out to complete the installation. The folks i spoke with when i went were again very apologetic and told me that they would have their manager call me back to schedule the installation. Two days after I picked up the item no one had called, so I called. I got my original salesman. He was also contrite and said that he would look into it and call me back. Four hours later I called again. The salesman wanted to know my availability for the next day. I said that I wasn't available then, but that I would be available the day after and the day after that, both in the morning. He AGAIN said that someone would call me back to confirm a time. It's been another two days with no call. I just called in again to be told that the manager for that department would not be in until 2pm, and that "I" should call back then. There also was no note in my order about any sort of pending issues. So, great store for off-the-shelf prices. Anything that requires further action after a purchase, stay far far away. read more

STAY AWAY! DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE! Worst experience I have ever had. Completely unreasonable process for receiving payment for damage caused by their delivery team. They neglect to mention when you're in the store buying your appliances that they outsource delivery to the cheapest bidder. The most unprofessional, rude and clueless delivery drivers damaged our dryer vent then hooked it up and attempted to cover up their damage. Attempting to get Home Depot or the delivery service to pay for the damage is the most frustrating process ever where no one will ever call you back and you will have to spend hours on the phone chasing them down. This is no doubt an effort to tired people out and just give up. Completely unethical practices and they could care less about their customers experience, just told sorry there's nothing the store can do that's the delivery service. I would stay far away from ever ordering an appliance from here. Going on over a month and a half still waiting for them to pay for damage they caused. They also sent the same delivery guys back to my house after I clearly asked them not to, they were completely rude to my wife when they came back. I would go lower if there were negative stars for the Merrimack location. Be very cautious of the tool rentals first of all. I rented a drum sander which had chunks missing from the drum that made much more work. As well as the attacking nature of the bald guy, "head of the department," he denied that his machine did that even with my pictures and receipt for the thing that I was not able to use. Told me to go somewhere else if I wanted. That there will be no refund or discount. I didn't even ask for either. I just want my floor done and for them to know about the defected machine to fix for the next guy. I just wanted a different machine. Why argue and refuse? Then carried on with his aggressiveness while I was trying to rent at full cost again from the actual clerk (the mayor I think. Lol. Which has always been helpful and knowledgeable because I have rented from here many times). Manager behind the pro desk, she had awesome people skills. horrible at helping the people in distress at her store. I asked her to come with me to rent me the machine so I didn't have to feel uncomfortable and not get attacked again but refused. Told me it's my choice to rent from here or not. Well, not with these people. That's for sure. I spent upwards of $40000 in this store and was just treated like a piece of trash on the street. I understand that amount might be pennies to Home Depot but it is huge money to me. Guess I'm just saying, be careful. And unless you want a very agitated person jumping down your throat. I visited the store yesterday in Nashua and bought over $300 worth of bathroom items. Upon checking out, asked about a veterans discount and was told it no longer applied, only on certain holidays. I'm not seeing where we can post reviews on their Facebook page, which is convenient. My story starts a few months back when we ordered two LG extra large capacity air conditioners to be picked up at the South Merrimack NH store. My husband and I both have health problems, but it was quicker to go pick them up so we chose that option. My husband experienced quite the fiasco when at the store (like SO many other times before at that store) - the employees brought out the wrong models at least three times, and then the girl who promised to help disappeared - when my husband asked where she was, he was told SHE LEFT FOR THE DAY! After about an HOUR AND A HALF of dealing with this, We got them home and installed them. One worked wonderfully (quiet, cool, perfect). The larger unit - wouldn't even turn on!!!!! I reached out to corporate through this page and received a response from a nice man. After much back and forth, HD agreed to have someone come out and get the nonfunctioning unit, and bring a new unit. Case resolved. Fast forward to a few days ago. We had ordered a smaller version of those units for our room, and it was to be delivered Wednesday. It was. In the middle of my driveway. On a day that was off and on torrential rains. Not even a plastic covering over the box. Thanks FedEx. My GIANT front porch in front of you where you normally leaves packages was about 6 steps away and is completely covered. I reached out to HD and FedEx because there's no way I am going to use an air conditioner that is a) filled with water b) something I paid good money for and is basically a small pool right and now and c) going to mold. I am disabled, and my breathing depends on good, clean air in the house - not to mention that we had ordered this to use for this weekend's heatwave...and it's pretty much unusable now! So, going back and forth with Home Depot didn't really work out this time. I simply asked that they replace the unit, and have it redelivered properly. I was told that they would need me to bring it back to the store and they would have someone "check it out" before they would do that. Whoa - what? I'm not the one who screwed up! That's between you and your vendor. I just needed my air conditioner - new and not waterlogged - that I had paid for. So, now, instead of having to deal with the BS of going back and forth - I've decided to keep the AC, and have it professionally cleaned by a remediation company so that I know it won't kill me when we plug it in. I'll be sending Home Depot the bill, and will be taking all of my business (which has been a lot and for a long time) to Lowes. Thanks for nothing guys. read more

I had a plumbing problem and took a few pixs on my cell phone to show anyone at the store what I was up against. I needed help to fix my kitchen drain with pvc piping and clue and whatever. In my mind I needed to spend a lot of money to complete my project. I asked around where the plumbing department was located and was told specifically to ask for TOM. Okay, I asked for this guy TOM and told him My problem and showed him my pictures on the cell phone. TOM looked at it, took a slight sigh and handed me a single package with another gizmo from the top shelf. Then he told me THATS ALL YOU NEED! I winched and thought he's just trying TO brush me off, but in reality...it was perfect. My plumbing project was finished in 20 minutes just the way TOM told me to do it. Will I go back and see TOM and get his expert advice..., you bet I will. Keep it up HomeDepot and pay TOM a few more bucks to keep him there. I am looking for you TOM. read more

I had an excellent experience buying a grill at this store. I was approached by an associate named Dennis who helped me with the grill I wanted. He mentioned he had the same grill and was very happy with it. I wanted to see if the top of the grill would come off to fit in my car and he said he believed it could and would come outside to help. He promptly brought me to a register, checked out and met me outside. The grill was a little difficult to take apart but Dennis was nice enough to ask some other employees to help. The store manager actually came over and was able to get it apart and helped put it in my car. To me this was going above and beyond the sale. Dennis could have just sold it and walked away but he went above and beyond and truly cared that I had a good experience. I could tell he was a genuine person and wanted me to have a flawless purchase and fit in my car. I want to thank Dennis and the other employees that helped. I believe the other woman was the HR rep.
