This Home Depot has been our go-to since we bought our house in December. We've had items shipped here, and we could easily pick them up. We also ordered our carpet install through their flooring team and Paul is the one who helped me - he was super helpful when I had no idea what I wanted. It did take a little while, which I was bummed about since they advertise quick service. The order was placed on July 3, the measure was on July 17, installation was on August 23(the earliest they could have done it after the measure was August 19 - didn't work for us to be ready since we had a party August 17). So... 7+ weeks later? I'm sure it's faster when you live in Denver (we live in the mountains, 45 mins from this store). So, the timing is my biggest complaint, which started with the person who measures for them is only in our area once a week which is why it took 10 days for that to happen... and then we were working on their installers schedule. I definitely didn't expect it to take that long. It's just something to keep in mind when you're looking into flooring installations - not sure if we would go with them again (if we could find someone else who could do it faster). But, we do love the carpet! So, it's a tough call... read more

Dan in the Appliance section restored my faith in Home Depot and customer service in general. We purchased a washer and dryer set and had them delivered. The delivery service didn't want to deliver up our driveway. Speaking with Celeste from the delivery company wasn't the best experience but when we went to the store and spoke with Dan he went above and beyond to help us get a delivery team who would work with us. I said can you please look, it said you had 8 in house when I checked at home. He told me to "prove it" what a dumb comment. Next guy i ask brought me to the aa, aa, C, D batteries. This past weekend, my husband ordered us a new toilet. (I said "NO" to this being my Christmas gift!"). He wanted to pick it up at our neighborhood Home Depot, however in the HD APP it stated on-line deal only. He even called the store who looked it up and agreed it was an on- line only special. He reluctantly paid the additional $35 ( shipping charges) so he could install it this week. On Monday, when it was delivered, the HD APP now said it would be home delivered via the HP store for the $35 fee. Also, they offered free ship to the store services. Bottom line, the store manager exceeded our expectations by personally calming our frustration. He made things right even though it wasn't his store's problem but people working their APP. This HD has been our go to store for years and the manager keeps their customer service standards at a high level. Thank you! read more

Rescheduled twice for no real reason, which is fine, it happens. On the third try they gave 15 minutes notice to clear out the entire contents of the fridge or else they'd reschedule. When they came into our house they said my Dad wasn't being reasonable, and if I don't make him act better they're going to reschedule. If I had to choose between killing myself or getting another Fridge delivery from Home Depot I think I want my headstone in granite. read more

We recently have been renovating our new house and the biggest issue we've had is the lack of communication and reliable service from the shipping and special orders management. When you get an installation for flooring like we did it went through a third party installer called home solutions I believe. The parts ended up being either delayed, not properly checked in, or just lost at points while being delivered to this store. At one point we had to go look in the back for them to find some of our items. Our renovation still isn't done because the last part has been delayed for a month. Worst of all was a time we were assured by one of the management staff that our final part was in and when we got there it wasn't even there. Only reason this is two star review is all the employees on the ground, like the flooring and paint department and even the laborers who did our floors worked so quick and were so attentive that it made the experience not as horrible. I shopped at this Home Depot over the Labor Day holiday weekend. I noticed a sign advert in the store for HVAC Tune-Up. I inquired. The Home Depot Rep. advised it was a service required at least once per year. Our AC/Furnace had been installed in 2007 and we needed a tune-up for sure. Although, our AC and furnace is working fine. The Home Depot rep also advised that their services are vetted and everything is backed by Home Depot. He went on to advise the company they send would diagnose any problems and clean everything up so the existing HVAC unit would be its "best self". With a Home Depot coupon for only $49. The Hope Depot rep sat me down at a chair and raved about how important their service is for extending the life of our AC and Furnace. The Company that showed up over an hour late is named ARS Rescue Rooter. After everything was said and done the "service" technician was really only there to set an appointment for a sales rep. The tech removed a panel from the AC unit outside and stripped out the screws replacing it. I replaced the screws myself although the Sales rep who eventually showed up did offer to send the tech back. The only real work done was the tech blew a fuse and had to go to the store and retrieve a new one. This is bate and switch. I cannot believe Home Depot would be in cahoots with a company like this. We are no better off than before the ARS Rescue Rooter appointment. I should charge this back as fraud. Keep your money and avoid this Home Depot scam and ARS rescue rooter. read more

This is the worst store to order appliances from. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Their customer service is horrible and they dont give a shit if they dont deliver your order or not. No communication on the delivery. We had to call to see when it was arriving. Then they never showed up after we TOOK THE WHOLE DAY OFF OF WORK TO BE HOME. When I called the staff is extremely rude and they just done care that I cancelled a $1000.00 order. So screw them we will never go to this store again. We had a paid delivery day scheduled with them. Items didn't arrive on the day we had picked. No big deal, we thought it would just be delayed. For 5(!) weeks no update was given online. It would just keep having the old date on our order. We never got through on the service number. It would be a 40 min wait and then the call would drop. Then suddenly it was changed online to "delivered". Again, that was 5 weeks after our delivery date. We finally got through to customer service. No help from them: "it says here it was delivered". Well, it wasn't. About $100 "donated" to Home Depot. No help, no product. Won't spent another cent with them. read more

This particular Home Depot, store #1549, Jefferson County, Colorado does not honor its Veterans. I was told on 4/18/2021 by a cashier and her "manager" that "Corporate Headquaters" has made a decision to no longer provide Veterans with a discount. My Veteran's status has been verified by the State and is embossed on my driver's license. Upon contacting corporate headquaters later, I learned this store manger and cashier misrepresented corporate policy. Store #1549's owner(s) have chosen a relatively unique position to not honor US vets with a purchase discount. Needless to say, I left without completing my purchase and will never step foot in this store particular again. I wouldn't attempt to do any sort of curbside pickup from this store. I've done it twice and both times were a waste of time. The first time, they left me sitting in the parking lot for 30 minutes after I checked in waiting for my order. I ended up having to go inside to wait for someone to help me and then bring the order out - it honestly would have been quicker for me to just go inside and grab my items myself. I placed a second online order and received an email that guaranteed my order would be ready in 2 hours or less, that has yet to be the case. Whilst I realize I can go into the store and grab my own items the benefit of curbside pickup is convivence... this store does not value that. I don't usually have problems another home depots, I get the service I expect at a big box, but this lovatio is the worst. I ordered something online to pick up at the store, the website said it arrived but they couldn't find it. I spent weeks trying to get it resolved, talked to at least 6 different people and none could resolve it and none called me back even though they promised to do so. Called again today and apparently nothing had been done to fix my issue for the past two weeks. Just terrible service, horrible store manager. They don't care about their customers. Then another associate pretended like getting something they put on the top shelf was the worst thing possible. BEWARE of buying any large appliance at Home Depot if you expect to ever receive a delivery in the Foothills! Home Depot has an outside contract with a "third world" company that is at best inept. We bought a Whirlpool 24 cu ft refrigerator on Dec 8. The delivery driver refused to drive up our driveway on Dec 11 (1st delivery). The reschedule on Dec 19 -- NO SHOW after waiting 8 hrs. The 3rd delivery (I say that 'tongue in cheek') 3 days ago -- AGAIN refused to drive up our driveway!! Obviously, Home Depot can sell you anything -- they just CAN'T deliver. I had AMEX reverse the charges. I strongly recommend buying large appliances elsewhere. read more

This has been a great Home Depot! I've had wonderful luck with customer service in the tool and truck rental department (Mehmet is awesome) and though we haven't gotten great help figuring out what we've needed for plumbing and gas fixes, that's ok. I ordered a special order storm door, Anderson retractable. Later I got an email saying come in and pick it up. I did and they could not find it. Wasted trip. When I got home another email, "It's ready to pick up. Call for an appointment to pick it up." Call for an appointment? Sheesh. Well, I did, and the guy at the special order desk asked me when. I told him "Tomorrow morning. But will it really be there at the front of the store? I don't want another wasted trip." He assured me it would be there. So, second trip, and again they can't find the door. So I asked them to deliver it. "Oh no, that costs $80 and we can't comp that." So I asked for a full refund and they gave me that, but of course I had to wait, stand around a long time, to get the refund . Three wasted trips in 100 degree heat. This Home Depot is garbage. I'm not saying Home Depot in general...just this store. I went to get a gallon of paint and lighting for my bedroom. First off the sales lady at the paint counter said it would be 20 minutes before anyone could help me even though there were weren't any other customers. I told her I'm not willing to wait that long just to get a refill of paint. I head over to the lighting area...was there for 15 minutes and not one sales person was in sight or anyone to help me despite no other customers in the lighting area. I walked out of the store without anything...total waste of my time. Poor customer service. read more

DO NOT USE FOR COUNTERTOPS - THEY CONTRACT WITH FRONT RANGE!!!! April 19, 2017 we were first contacted by Front Range about our countertops purchased through Home Depot, and in their email they stated "Once you have your cabinet install date let me know and I will get you scheduled for your template (we are usually 3-5 business days out for templates). Installation of your countertops is usually 10 -14 business day after receipt of your final authorization". Our cabinets were done and we contacted them June 6 to schedule the templating for the kitchen. June 8 was our Template date. We approved the template on June 12. Per THEIR email above, that would suggest that installation would be June 28th at the latest, even July 3 if we had to count the acceptance date! On June 29th, we still had not heard back from them so we contacted them and were give July 14 for an install date. When I complained about the timeline, I was asked if I wanted to cancel my order BEFORE it went into production.... I had PAID for the countertop 20 days prior and it still is not in production?!? At this point we did not want to start over, so we decided to move forward. They came out to install the countertops, and they were wrong. Not only were they long on the 2 ends (where we paid extra for the waterfall) but it was short and cut wrong against the wall. When we called the company to discuss this, we were told the wall was out, which shouldn't have mattered since it was measured, and we insisted they do it right and refused the order. When they had slid in the countertop, they also damaged a cabinet door on the new cabinets just installed. A week later they came back to try again. the length for the waterfall was correct, but we still had a problem in the back, where the gap, which again, they measured, was so wide that the tile backsplash we had picked out to install would slide behind it. To top it off, the waterfall edges, were polished on the WRONG SIDES! When you are running countertop to the floor, you would want the side to show polished, but apparently that was not the way they do things. When we called them this time around, we were told it was because our wall was "out". Only when my husband sent a video of the wall with a framing square did the admit it may have been their mistake. Again, we had to send the entire countertop back to figure out what to do about this gap between the countertop and the wall. This is now 7 weeks since we approved our countertops! Front Range offered us a 4 inch back splash to cover the gap they have left. It was that, or send the entire thing back and start over. Once again, we decided to move forward, and accept this correction to their mistake, even though we have a beautiful backsplash we have purchased and still plan to put up, now just above their correction. Not what we wanted, but we were worn down and accepted this correction to get the kitchen done. They next date they set for us, we were given a Thursday afternoon or Saturday. We requested the appointment on Saturday and were told we would be the first and only appointment and they would arrive between 8-10 am. That Saturday, when we were finally contacted about 10:00, we were told their truck broke down on their way TO Grand Junction and they would be late. At 4 PM we finally called Home Depot because they had not showed up, and Front Range is not open on the weekend. We finally got a call back from the installer at 7 pm and we scheduled for Sunday. Again a full day waiting for them with no avail. Sunday they came to install, and although we were told it would be a couple hours... instead it was an entire day ordeal, and when we got to the final step, the last wall of the waterfall, it was too short.... Yes.... too short. So once again, after the 3rd install we had to send back the last leg so have it redone to fit. They finally were able to finish the countertop the following week, a full 10 weeks after the measurement. That is 10 weeks without a kitchen to cook in, because we could not install a cook top or sink, 10 weeks of eating out for a family of 4, 3 meals a day.... And our final product has a 4 inch backsplash we did not want but accepted to correct their mistakes. We requested compensation fro time loss, time off work to meet the contractors, and money spent due to the inconvenience and they came back with an offer of $300, which is slightly above the door they damaged. We feel this is an insult. We have asked Home Depot for help, and are not receiving phone calls back or any updates, even though each manager we speak too agrees this needs to be rectified. read more

Went in to this Home Depot even though I typically try to avoid them. The only way to check out here is for you to do it yourself. If you have a lot of items this is really annoying. Their customer service has never been good overall in Home Depot although the staff here was very nice. But now you've added one more thing that I have to do myself even if I have 30 things. He made a phone call and responded, "We don't have anything like that". Checked online and went and found it myself. Poor customer service and product knowledge. Home Depot has a dog-friendly policy and that's great...except when it's not. I brought my dog in last night and there were 3-4 employees that were loving on her and she was being a great girl until one of their employees wasn't watching where he was walking, nearly walked into my dog and then startled himself and my dog and jumped back. My dog thought he was playing and jumped up on her back legs and one of his paws TOUCHED the employee(Johnny). Johnny then freaked out and said that my dog bit him, tore his shirt and became very rude and told us we had to leave the store. I told him that my dog did not bite him, there was NO hole in his shirt as he was claiming(showing me his shirt saying there was a hole in it but there was obviously no hole). In the commotion of his ridiculous freak-out my dog started barking as this employee was acting completely irresponsible, rude and over reacting. I immediately took my dog out of the store to my truck and came back in and asked to speak to the manager. This happened in front of several other employees, none of whom saw my dog bite him as he claimed and thought the entire situation was ridiculous(they were JUST loving on my dog). Enter store manager Pat. I asked for her to bring the employee back so we could talk about it. She refused because she didn't want to cause a scene(understandable). She went and talked to the employee and came back and said that the employee did have a hole in his shirt and that he was bit. I asked her to pull video footage and show me. She said that she was standing by the other end of the store(at the service desk), heard the barking and looked down and saw my dog jumping on him and believes that he was bit. First, she had the sequence of events wrong. Second, other employees were standing right there and no one saw the dog bite him as he claimed. Third, her side of the story from across the store somehow trumped my story, and the other witnesses that were right there. She told me I didn't have to leave and that on another day my dog could come back but not on that day. She refused to pull video footage so I could show her what happened because she said she'd have to take my info, which I offered. She said that employee Johnny had been attacked by dogs and that he has previous trauma and that he didn't like dogs. I asked why, if that was the case, he put himself in such close proximity to my dog, then provoked my dog by freaking out and jumping back, then yelled at me and told me to leave the store. I asked why, if he was truly bit(which he was not) he didn't ask her to get my info. I asked what training he had if there was such an aversion/fear/phobia of dogs he'd received if he is working in an environment that has an open-dog policy and she offered no answer and asked me why I was making a big deal about this. Wanted me to just drop it. This could have easily turned into a serious situation/lawsuit/injury for any of the parties involved. Dog bites are serious allegations and can have serious consequences. Allowing her employee to lie about it, cause a scene, and then try to sweep it under the rug and tell me that my story was not accurate...this is why I was upset. I want this employee to be trained on proper behavior around dogs as he has obvious issues with dogs or for there to be a avoidance policy that he is required to follow. For him to cause this situation and for the manager to not have any plan other than kicking my dog out of the store and taking him off the floor while he "collected himself" is ridiculous. I wanted documentation, I wanted review and I wanted a resolution that included training for this employee and her answer was 'no' and 'my employee isn't going to just stop being afraid of dogs'. After she walked away, the two employees that were closest to the event came back to me and said 'you can bring your dog back in and let me love on her anytime. She's a sweety.' I should have left the store, but I was desperate to get this project going. The employees that were talking(and taking sides) with Johnny were later asked, by me, for assistance and refused to help. They had not seen the event but only became aware of what happened after by going to the front when I was talking to Pat. The employees that refused to help me were Dennis(hardware) and Roy or Troy(couldn't tell because his beard was so long it covered half the 'r' on his apron. Someone called Dennis to try to help me at one point and Dennis said he was with a customer and couldn't help. Later I saw Dennis in between customers and he specifically avoided me. I asked Roy or Troy for help and he shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know" and kept walking. Several other employees also avoided me as I was standing, obviously needing help, looking bewildered, pacing back and forth between aisles. Once I got out of the hardware/lumber area where this all happened, I finally had a more normal interaction and Rob from flooring ended up being a huge help. read more

I would stay away from this from this Home Depot. I have a new snow blower that I took in for an oil leak it took 8 weeks for them to look at it only to tell me they don't know why it leaks but they could send it to a large shop but it would take another 8 - 10 weeks. The customer service is awful, very unprofessional and not customer friendly. I have had to call Home Depot at least 15 times over the past 8 weeks and never received a call back. I have talked with Jeff the store manager, Justin the tool manager and Tim the technician. DO NOT buy from Home Depot unless you are okay with poor customer service.
