This is my favorite Depot in the Denver area. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Also the tax rate is way cheaper at this location.

Perhaps it is on the days that I visit but I have always found a staff and service desk to be very helpful and friendly. it is a consistently clean store and it is a place that I can find the selection I need for the items I am looking for on my trip. I would highly recommend this store for anyone that needs the variety offered by a big box store. read more

Believe it or not, this is the short version of my experience getting windows installed with Home Depot, but I think you'll be very interested in how it ends: Jul '16 - I ordered 13 windows and 2 patio doors, making it quite clear that my primary concerns were security, and the ability to control the temperature in my house, as I do not have heating/AC. I was promised "you'll be getting windows exactly like what you have, just with a little thicker frame." "this is our top-of-the-line product." Aug '16 - Installation, 3 products had to be reordered, and installation was still incomplete. They tried to get me to sign off on the project. HD called and tried to put the entire price on my credit card they kept on file. Install: no exterior wrap, single hung windows panes loose, could be removed without unlocking them, one patio door was the wrong, wood was left exposed outside... Product: awning windows opened 4" - I need these windows to control temp, most hardware was difficult/made grinding noise, nothing is Energy Star in CO, some of the awning windows would pop off of their hardware every time they were opened. Nov '16 - 2 managers visited. They said windows are Energy Star rated, so I pointed to the stickers. "Well no windows are Energy Star rated here, unless they're triple pane and too expensive." Their solution for the awning windows was to push on them. That worked for a week.. I signed a change order for a $250 HD gift card that never came. I got a lecture about "it's amazing what you can learn to live with" which I found incredibly insulting! I never got the call for final install. All winter one old window was just screwed back into place in the tiny room where my water comes into the house. The pane cracked in the cold, frosted over completely, and more  money went to insulation and a heater. Trim pieces started falling off. Caulk outside had cracks & holes so water could get under the metal on my wood sills. I spoke to every manager I could . I filed multiple complaints. No results, Feb '17 - Original sales guy (whom I'm sure you've seen at this Home Depot) came out to the house, took personal responsibility for the project, gave his sales pitch again, including that these are Energy Star rated...oh...wait...He was surprised HD tried to collect payment. One doors would get frost in the corner, indicating a bad install. Then I found out about egress code. I had 3 casement windows in 2 bedrooms, including my toddler's, had been replaced with single hung. He admitted "I probably should have talked to you about that" but that my county doesn't enforce egress. My county inspector offered to write a permit requiring HD to replace the windows. My house DID meet egress code, now it DOES NOT. The sales guy told me that my new windows DO meet code. I assured him they don't. He then said: "it doesn't really matter, because a fireman with an ax could get through it no problem." Then went on for another couple minutes about how it was more important when windows were made of metal...I felt like my only option was to cancel the contract. He hung up the phone as quickly as he could and never heard back from him. Later HD employees told to have my new contractor remove the windows so they could be picked up when I cancel the contract. A regional manager got me in touch with the local branch installation manager, who apparently has the final say in whether I get any refund. He came out to the house a few weeks ago, and pointed out even MORE installation issues, like how most of the exterior sills are sloped inward, so water collects. He said he'd call me in a couple days. He didn't. I called him today, and he told me that having the windows removed would be a breech of contract - even though I was told to have them removed. What?! I'm meeting with him tomorrow morning. Maybe I can update this review after that. 6/24/17 - Branch Install Manager no-show for meeting. Left a message on his VM to reschedule. 6/26/17 - Sent requested info to TeamSocial@homedepot.com as requested via their form response to this review. 6/29/17 - Keep getting Install Manager's voicemail. Called main office, left message for Installation Service Coordinator. Later, called Install Manager again who offered to keep my $4,300 deposit and pick up the (already removed) windows, or refund my money and leave the windows on my property. Given a different situation, I might be royally PO'd, but I'm thinking I might be able to cope with the excess garbage. 7/2/17 - Was given 48 hours to sign and return resolution contract, but it had incorrect math. Now waiting to hear a response before I sign anything. read more

I have been shopping at this Home Depot Store since it has opened. I have worked with Gardening, Flooring, Electrical/Lighting, Plumbing, Paint, Tools, Hardware, Lumber and Tool Rental. All of the floor personal are helpful, friendly and knowledgable about the product they are selling. Being able to answer questions and steer me toward the proper product or tool for the task. The Cashiers, Pro and Customer Service staff also give 110% effort to make the shopping experience a positive time. (This is also a dog friendly store, and I have always said, "show me how a person treats their dog and I will show you how they treat their fellow man.) read more

I've been shopping at Home Depot for more years than I can count. Also a Pro Member and a Business member. I was sold propane and never told they were out. Waited to have the tank exchanged for a bit just to find out they were sold out. Was told to take the tank and receipt to customer service for a refund where I was VERY rudely told to leave the store with the empty tank and leave it outside. Wasn't happy to be treated like that but understand why I couldn't have the empty tank in the store. I exited the store and sat the propane take outside jut to go back in to find out they didn't hold my place in line and now had 5 people in front of me. Was almost instantly approached and told I couldn't leave the take outside where I was instructed to put it (also very rude). I explained what I was doing and was told again to get the tank out of there. Tried to speak to a manager to help with the situation and was refused to be seen outside with the propane tank that I wasn't allowed to bring inside or leave outside??? This has been an extremely disappointing experience from a place that I have always enjoyed to shop. So god forbid you go there and buy something that they don't actually have in stock and try to get your money back by following the directions you were given. The more unfortunate part is they don't give a damn. read more

I am writing this for my sister Doris Sterling, my sister and her husband did a contract with Home Depot through Brock D. Maher badge # 12009908-001 to have a cedar fence put on the side yard, they were told it would take 3 working days, home depot hires contractors to do these jobs, but home depot is still responsible. The work started on Thursday July 7th, they put up the poles that's it, the contractors made a horrible mess of their neighbors yard with cement and rocks and debris. The contractors don't show up til Friday at 2:00pm, and placed two more poles, these contractors laid in the neighbors yard and had there chairs loud music and yes they left a mess,for a two hour Lunch break. Like I said they got here on Friday at 2:00 pm, put the two poles in and left. They have yet to return and today is Tuesday and no one has called, my sister is now on the phone getting another run around telling her there must be a back up , what do you expect us to do, so far this company has collected $2,000 and have not even bothered to call or explain. As for Home Depot and there careless and awful customer care they should be stopped from making false promises and they should also seriously look at who they are sub contracting with, and now Home Depot is saying we have no idea who this Brock Maher is or what store he is out of. Once again it's a large company that dosent have to care or even want to make this right, and they expect to be paid on full, for what??? sad and shotty service? This is just another way these types of companies take you. read more

My local Home Depot. Customer service is great here, biggest flaw is usually items being out of stock while their website says else wise. Parking lot is big, food stand outside and overall very clean and bright inside the store. I'm happy with them and will continue to use them for all my household needs. read more

Again Home Depot has really impressed me. I bought a range hood online and it was damaged when I picked it up from the store. I had to reorder and when that same one wasn't in stock they honored the price of it and I got a really nice more expensive hood for the same price of the old one since it was their fault it was damaged. This is a really good reason to shop at home depot. read more

This is the best home depot that I've been to. I normally go to the one off of Crestline by the mall and they are not so good. But these guys are knowledgeable. The gals at the entry ways are so cheerful and willing to help you get to the right area. I guess they don't walk the stores too often since they can just direct you to the correct department and sometimes aisle. Joey, who works in appliances is a hoot and will do what ever he can to help you get what you need and take the stress off your back. Even if that means bring you a temporary refrigerator in person because the delivery guys brought the wrong one and it'll be another 5-7 days before it will be delivered. The worse customer service here. We bought a Generator from Home Depot took it to the campsite and it was extremely loud we tried several ideas to make it less noisy nothing worked. We went to return it which I was told had a 90 day return policy NOT TRUE !!!!! Be careful the policy changes at Home Depot depending on what you buy. I went to the cashier who was sweet and she made us take the generator to tool rental so they could remove the remaining gas that I left in so they could try it. We then walk back to customer service and the original cashier was writing up the return and the manager Lee comes over gets very rude and says you can't return this cause it is not defective and power tools have a 15 day return policy. 1st this is not a power tool it's a generator. 2nd they took the gas I left so they could try it I spent a hour trying to get this resolved. I asked for the store manger and Lee actually laughed and said he was the only one to make decisions and I would have to wait for the store manager to get in tomorrow. He was completely disrespectful and would not give me the store mangers direct line so I could leave a message. I would never treat customers the way he did. I have my own company I would fire a employee that acted like he did to a customer. I have shopped at Home Depot for years never have I been treated like this especially being told to pound sand on a 600 dollar purchase. Buyer beware this store is not customer service friendly at all especially the manger Lee. I really don't want anyone to get treated this poorly again. read more

I wouldn't even give it one star. This home depot is the worst ever. Do not buy a door there if you don't plan on installing it yourself! The contractor(home solutions) did such a crappy job that my door warped in 6 months.... I have been trying to get home depot to fix it or give me my money back, but its funny they say its manufactures fault. $110 to rent a stump grinder that wouldn't grind stumps - not even pine stumps. Very dissappointing.

Don't use their cabinet resurfacing service. The contractors they use are horrible. They don't follow their own reservation times which leaves you waiting days for them to show up. The quality of work is poor. They had to come out twice because they didn't cut the counter top correctly. They will not give you an itemized receipt to know what you are paying for. Overall very poor customer service and poor workmanship by their outside contractors. read more

This Home Depot is Trash. Today I received a call that my order was in and to call to let them know when I would be by to pick it up. that was at 11:35 am, I told them I would be there at 5:00 pm to pick it up. I finally got out of the store at 6:28 pm. My order had not been pulled, or even put in a place to easily get to it. The employee did give me $50.40 off my carpet order today. Every experience I have had at this store over the last 2 years has been a 2 out of 10. the custom ordered cabinets with a Pro measuring came in wrong three times, oh and measured wrong. The come and learn electrical class witch had 10 people signed up, had no employee to teach it. I get P.T.S.D. walking into the store. The employees walk around with there heads down, or stay out of sight. If you do manage to find a an employee, the are less than helpful and most know little to nothing about their department, I found I get better answers using Google. Every time I have talked to a "store manager" on the phone or in person, the only feeling I get is they have other things to do. In the past 13 months I have spent $18,000 to $22,000 at this store. I will drive further out of my to go to Lowe's. Home Depot said my "review was rejected" if I could give this store a zero star I would. read more

This would be a 0 if it were possible. We ordered a $700 rug from this store that took 3 weeks to come in. When we went to pick it up, the plastic protective covering was ripped at the top and bottom and our cream rug was grey from dirt and oil in the warehouse. They tried to push us out the door with this rug!!!!!!!! Yea, that didn't happen! So, we thought one mistake, no big deal. WRONG! We went back in and ordered a new fridge. The appliance associate "Rich" was told 7 times we needed a 33". We chose this fridge because it was one of the few that came in the size we need. Delivery was a week later and guess what?! They brought a 36". We refused the delivery and called the store and were pushed around to 2 different managers, Jeff and Joey. We were told we would be receiving a refund and they would call us Monday to resolve the situation and let us know when we would have the new fridge delivered. Not good enough, considering we had sold our old fridge that morning and ALL of our food went sour! So they brought a loaner fridge at 8pm that night. We received a call Monday from the associate, Rich, NOT A MANAGER! informing us that we needed to pay $3000 for the size difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No joke!!!!!!!!!!! I told him that was not going to happen and hung up. I then called to speak to a manager and the manager, Lee, took the same stance. Needless to say, I am on hold with Home Depot's corporate office.
