Waited all day today for my delivery, even took a day off because delivery was to be 10-8pm. Between mulch and dirt, I had 125 bags to be be delivered. Nada tostada. I bought my Blackstone and smoker here and will be buying fixtures for a bathroom renovation soon. Also bought new blinds here and they were decently priced. I went to Lowe's to purchase a new water heater and arrange for installation and was disappointed to find out they do not install water heaters and use a third party plumber company. I gave Lowe's my phone number and this third party plumbing company called me while I was still at the store and told me it would be $3,100 to install a new water heater! Wow! I will use my trusted handyman to install it. It is unfortunate that plumbing companies take advantage of people who are in urgent need of help and use this to charge people outrageous prices and Lowe's goes along with it. i do not recommend purchasing a water heater from Lowe's since they do not offer installation services. As a whole, it is my opinion that plumbers are dishonest and take advantage of people. read more

I suppose it has to deal with people not having homes to work on anymore. Regardless, we came in looking for plants and building materials, and we happen to get a few things here. I would give this negative stars if I could. This was for a front door and storm door installation. It started out ok. Went to the store, spoke to the salesperson, set up the measurements, the people came to take the measurements and said we would get a call to pick out our doors. That happened, we got on a Teams call with the salesperson, picked out our doors, paid about $2k and thought everything was good. I was wrong. I get a call a few days later from the installation company saying that our doors were too small for the entry way and it would be additional cost for labor and materials. I'm like, how could we have ordered the wrong size doors? You measured AND you helped us pick out the doors to fit those measurements. That's why we hired you, so this wouldn't happen. I told her I'm not paying anything additional and she said she would talk to her manager and get back to me. The next thing I got was a cancellation email saying they cancelled my order! I called Lowes back and told them what happened, they initially wanted me to pay for another measurement but I refused and they ended up getting the measurements form the installation company. Got another call to pick out the doors again. The guy we talked to said the first people had no idea what they were talking about and we ended up ordering the same doors! Told me that I would get a call from the installation company (was a different one this time) to schedule install. On that call they told me that the doors would be delivered the day before the install and I would get a call 24 hours prior to that to schedule the delivery. Fast forward to the day before the installation, I never got to tell me when the delivery was going to be so I called them. They had no idea as it wasn't through Lowes. I had to go to a work meeting and sure enough, I get a call as I'm walking into the meeting saying they were 15 min away! The delivery never took place, he took them back to Lowes, I had to go over to Lowes when I got home from work to pick it up myself (keep in mind I paid like $75 for delivery, after a few calls, they did refund that). Fast forward to the installation....I now have a door that doesn't close right (have to really push it to close), a smart lock that keeps getting jammed and a storm door that wont close on it's own. I would NEVER recommend Lowes for any installation project. It was a complete nightmare, if the work done was great I have let the rest slide, but the doors don't even work right. read more

I wish this store was closer to my house as it really is my favorite home improvement store. There is always plenty of safe and well lit parking. The property is clean and well maintained. The staff has always been exceptionally pleasant and helpful to me. Plus, they have excellent holiday decorations options as well as a huge selection of home appliances. My favorite brand of tools is Kobalt and I believe Lowe's is the only place they can be purchased. When Sears went under, they started selling Craftsman as well. I find the prices to be extremely reasonable and right in there with other like stores. I especially enjoy all the veterans they employ there. That's a big thing for me. I bought a $900 Bosch dishwasher here, and the appliance manager saved me $300 over the supposed Internet "markdown' price. That's the last laudable experience I had with Lowe's. The installation was sloppy and I had to redo it (dishwasher wasn't leveled, and the kickplate on the bottom wasn't installed). Then I found out that no one should buy a Bosch dishwasher who doesn't also own a silli/OCDphone because the appliance not only didn't come with a user's operating manual, but there's also an "app" to operate it. A 40+ page installation manual, a warranty instruction booklet and a "quick start" sheet that doesn't cover half of the functionality was all there was. I called Lowe's and Bosch/USA (NOT Germany...they'd never do this...) and was told that I "...simply had to download a PDF file and print it..."! Saving trees was their excuse--their trees, not mine. Now, if I had a printer, which nowadays most people have given up due to Canon's rip-off ink cartridge prices, then OK. But I don't and won't any time soon. So after a week of whining to Bosch/USA, a kindly gentlemen ("Dan"?) said he'd mail me the printed 8x11 version. Now, after almost a month, I've learned how to use the dishwasher correctly even without the "app". An aside: I took the printed manual to the Lowe's store and offered to let them make copies for other unknowing/unsuspecting buyers who, like me, expect to get a Use/Care manual with their Bosch dishwasher...Lowe's/Littleton appliance clerk (who was continuously on his OCDphone) wasn't interested. Bottom line: Do your homework before buying any appliance from Lowe's, or you might wind up with an bookless "app-hazard" boat anchor instead of a usable appliance. Order# 201630129261584439 Lowe's store 1630 on 5258 s wadsworth boulevard Littleton co . ordered carpet with Dmytro which started with in home measurements. 1 day later got an email that out order was ready for review and to schedule for install . looked at paperwork and had a question on what was listed on the work order as we picked out the best pad and 85 oz carpet and 58 oz was on the work order . we received multiple calls and txt messages from Lowe's wanting to know if we were ready to schedule, I told them I would come into the store and verify our purchase as I had questions. we had gone into the store and talked with Dmytro again and showed him AGAIN the carpet and color and he again said that's what was ordered . we paid for everything and went home and papers still said 58 oz carpet . once again a trip to Lowe's and this time Dymyto had to call customer service and he stayed WE changed our mind , oh no we didn't . customer service said he had to delete the order and remake a new one . At this point he said he couldn't do it that day and customer service said they would call us in a couple days to verify the order change . I spoke with customer service and they said the store manager was to call me right back . My family is remodeling the two bathrooms at my house, and found a lot of what we were looking for on the Lowe's website. Since my SUV couldn't fit two toilets, a pedestal sink, and a bathtub in the back, we decided to order them for delivery. They showed up in a timely manner, and all seemed well. I noticed a small puncture in the bathtub box after a few hours, so I opened it to see the tub had been damaged -- it looks like someone speared it with one of the forklift prongs. That wasn't a thrilling discovery, but accidents happen. The toilets were fine, and the sink isn't here yet so hopefully no more problems. I called and explained the situation, and was told by the gentleman I was speaking with that they'd get this sorted out and a manager would be in contact shortly -- they were, but that's where everything goes down hill. When the manager returned my call, I explained everything again so we would start on the same page. He was apologetic, then dropped the bombshell of having no one to deliver the replacement and take the damaged tub -- then went off on how he'd figure out who (Lowe's or the third party delivery company) was responsible for the damage. In all honesty, I don't give a rats behind who's responsible. I just needed the replacement for install, that's all I cared about. This all happened yesterday, and since then it's been radio silence from Lowe's. So my brother and I jammed the damaged tub into the back of my SUV, barely, and went to the only location "nearby" (it was halfway across the state) with a replacement to exchange. On a consistent basis this location fails to answer the phones or man registers. I don't blame the employees as their obviously understaffed. What's worse is I've noticed they'll close the self-checkout registers several hours before closing despite only having one register open and a line several customers deep. I wasted about 45 minutes of my time yesterday, waiting for someone to show up at the mill work/windows department.. One fellow employee was "proactive" enough to ask me if I was waiting for someone and quickly responded that "he is in today".. But then went on with his own business.. After my 20 minutes of waiting I left and went to Home Depot next door- only to find a note on the millwork person's chair indicating that they were out to lunch for an hour..... So in a soft moment of kindness, I went back to Lowe's thinking that this esteemed and elusive employee might be back from their bathroom or lunch break. As I walked up to the department again, I noticed there was an individual sitting in the millwork chair talking to a couple of people in an apologetic tone. When they left, I approached and inquired if he was the "window guy".... He replied no that he worked in a different department but saw these people waiting and came over to help in any way he could. He also apologized to me as the the window "guy" decided to leave at 4 o'clock... an hour or 2 before his shift ended. I found a shower door I liked an tried to hire a contractor though Lowe's. I was referred to Arizona Shower Door attempts to schedule through text and email but the links in the email tell you the the link doesn't work but it did cancel the appointment. I've left a separate review for the mess that is Arizona Shower Door. I found a different company to install the door. I went with that contractor to Lowe's and purchased the door. When the door was unpacked someone had tried to install it and returned it to Lowe's. It was installed and worked but I spent a couple of hours removing silicone from the person who had returned the door. Omg. This place absolutely sucks. I made an in-store order in early August. They told me two weeks. Here we are 4 weeks later and I finally get a call to pick up my order. I have been calling them for weeks, they had the wrong phone number for me and I told them 5 times to change it. They did not. This complicated matters. Every time I called to talk to the department I ordered from, the phone rang and rang and rang. One time, a person picked up and said they would get back to me "tomorrow." So now I come to pick up my order, I was sent to three different desks to talk to three different people. All of them told me to go somewhere else. Printers were broken so they couldn't print my loading ticket. No one could find my order. Now here I stand. Pissed off. Waiting and waiting and waiting for my products. This is not a Covid related blip in an otherwise great service; NO ONE here knows what they are doing. A manager saw me standing here as I write this and is trying to help me. She asked the associate what was going on and the associate said "he will just have to be patient." Lol. The nerve. She found the perfect refrigerator for me and set up delivery the next day! And it does stop there...Dallas and Gino were the delivery guys who were professional and kind. They made sure to be very careful with my new refrigerator and gave me detail instructions of how to clean it so I don't scratch it. After going in to this store tonight, I was reminded of why I choose Home Depot or local hardware stores instead of Lowes. Unfortunately, the contractor I hired to finish my basement bought my custom-mixed paint here, and because I need more, I didn't have much of a choice if I want an exact match on the paint. After walking past three employees who averted their eyes on the way to the paint desk, I then waited about 5-7 minutes for anyone to bother coming over to help me. Frustrating, and irritating, especially since it's a Saturday night and not busy. I order my paint and patiently wait. This part thankfully goes ok. Paint mixed correctly. Check. I then go to pay for my paint. In all of Lowes' wisdom, they only have the self-checkout open. Now don't get me wrong, I love self checkout when it's convenient. When I'm buying items that don't scan (custom paint), it's not convenient at all. I had to key in a 20 digit long, barely readable code for each gallon of paint. More frustrating and irritating. I go to leave. I'm then tracked down halfway to my car by an employee (where were you all when I needed help?) who says she needed to "make sure I paid for my paint". Seriously? I'm sure there are better ways to word that than to basically accuse me of stealing. (And yes, I paid for everything.) Really Lowes, it took 40 minutes for me to buy a few gallons of paint, and then I was suspected of stealing it after paying your inflated prices. Way to go... Would give zero stars if I could! My kids and I stopped in Saturday night to pick up flowers and clay pots. The outdoor nursery cashier was completely rude. (He was an older man, white hair, glasses, and a baseball cap.) I walked out through the open nursery doors and he grabbed the hand basket from my hand and told me that I couldn't be outside because I set off the alarm. Wanted to buy a washer / dryer and stove. It took 4 requests to get someone to come to the appliance department so we could order and pay. Made me feel they were really not interested in our business. We got the washer and dryer installed. After a few weeks, the dryer hose came disconnected. We needed a line adjust for the stove and someone came over from Lowe's and then we never heard from him again. We had to chase them down and they said we needed to come back in to sign another paper. With all that happened, we said forget it and asked for a refund. Super disappointed about the service we've got here also that we have given them several chances to redeem themselves. First, we ordered a microwave in store on Black Friday weekend in November 2021 and we're told it would be delivered and installed within the next couple of weeks. We waited and waited and waited, called and called and called .... Still no Microwave. We finally got it in March 2022.... And had to buy a temporary microwave. Wish they would've told us ahead of time that it would take so long..... we would've just purchased another or gone to another store. BUT we decided to give them a second chance due to supply chain issues we were understanding. Next, we decided that we needed to get some blinds. We hired the lowes team to come and do the measurements. When we came to pick out the blinds the person who measured simply marked the rooms as Room #1 and Room #2 which did not distinguish between our 3 bedrooms upstairs. Therefore we really weren't able to determine which measurement was for which room. Us and blinds lady determined the different measurements based on our best guest. She cut 2 blinds from the store and the 3rd we had custom ordered. Not surprisingly one of the blinds for a bedroom upstairs was the wrong length so they said they would have someone come and replace...... 2 months later and we didn't hear from anyone so decided to call and there wasn't even an open work order so I had to place one. At which time they sent the completely wrong blind .... so I called to have them remeasure at which time they sent someone out to our house. When the contractor arrived he was thinking he would be installing so I had to correct him and tell him he was there to remeasure. Those measurements went back to the store who cut new blinds for us in store. When I called the store the most frustrating thing was that they put me on hold for an HOUR! Eventually someone picked up and had no idea why I was calling of course. I told them we were just making sure they had our blinds ready. Anyway, we Just picked them Up and I'm 99% sure they are the same blinds as the original incorrect measurement. We've decided there is no hope for us with Lowes so we're now going to get our money back. Just done with this place. Such terrible experiences... our bad for giving them a second chance. This is by far one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. My boyfriend and I recently purchased a house and it needed all new appliances (and much more). Tracy, the floor manager in appliances, was so willing to help us in our quest and wanted to make sure that we got what we really wanted. We ended up buying our whole kitchen that day (fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove and wine chiller) and we weren't even planning on buying that day. Because of Tracy, we have decided to go to Lowe's ONLY for the rest of the renovations needed on our house. I don't think everyone understands the necessity of good customer service but this is proof right here. We will be spending thousands of dollars over the next few years and Lowe's will be getting all of that business just because of one AMAZING employee. read more

We have been here about 8 times now in the last few weeks since we moved into our new-to-us home. We've done paint and flooring, and it's about 50/50 with employees that have a lot of knowledge, and employees that need more training. We had our flooring order taken by Cecilia, who was very helpful. Then we had them come out and measure, and that was just fine. We came in on a Saturday night to place our order, and between three people at the counter, and Cecilia over the phone, our changes couldn't be processed (color and removal of the line item for carpet removal since we'd already done that). We had to come back again the next day to have someone else do it. One of the department managers was there and he was very apologetic and even said "We have failed you," which I thought was a little dramatic, but it was true I suppose. The guys in paint that I've met with have been knowledgeable and great, but my husband hasn't had the same experience. We also just ordered trim, casing, and crown molding. The order delivery was never put into the system on their end, so we expected it on a Tuesday and got nothing. We called to get it scheduled and had it come out the next day. They brought the wrong crown molding and a lot of the other pieces were dinged up (we bought the MDF molding which I understand is easy to ding). My husband sent back almost half of the pieces, and when he called the store again to confirm the delivery, they said they had enough pieces in stock for us, but they were counting the ones we had just returned. So, at some point I imagine we'll get what we ordered. And, to top it all off, we're in the system for MyLowe's about 9 times and no one can seem to clean us down to 1 account. Overall, their product selection is great, the store is clean, yada yada, and we'll probably continue to go back, but so far our special orders have been a little sketchy. I'm kind of concerned for our carpet delivery and installation, but we'll see how that turns out. read more

My wife and I compared bathroom vanities between Home Depot and Lowes on a suggestion from our contractor. Although Lowes has a better selection of vanities we ran into multiple issues with the brand and model we chose. The first issue was with the bathroom vanity manufacture. The vanity we chose was the allen + roth Kennilton 30-in Gray Oak Single Sink Bathroom Vanity with Carrera White Engineered Stone Top. The sale price is the same for any size, as the Lowes sales person indicated. So if you purchase a 30 inch, 36 inch, 48 inch, or 60 inch they are all the same price ($799). Now one would think the price would be proportional to the size of the vanity, similar to other manufactures. Not in this case. When the department manager was pressed with questions on why this is the case; he responded that his hands were tied and that Lowes corporate wouldn't provide an answer on this make and models pricing approach (I.e. greed). Attempts to research any alternative place to purchase outside of Lowes for this vanity was made. Unfortunately; this make and all its models are proprietary to Lowes. The second issue is Lowes 7 days or less guarantee. The allen + roth Kennilton 30-in Gray Oak Single Sink Bathroom Vanity with Carrera White Engineered Stone Top's sales slip located on the wall above the display had this guarantee shown on it. My wife and I were happy to see this as it would work perfectly with our guest bathroom remodel schedule. When we moved forward with ordering it. We were again disappointed that Lowes indicated it would take 2-3 weeks to obtain the allen + roth Kennilton 30 inch vanity. Again when I asked the Lowes department employee and manager why they couldn't meet their guarantee, they provided canned answers and offered an apology. I asked if they worried about their company's integrity? Especially when all they wanted was the sale and could care less about customer satisfaction. The third and final issue was on pickup of the allen + roth Kennilton 30-in Gray Oak Single Sink Bathroom Vanity with Carrera White Engineered Stone Top. Once the box was partially opened the vanity had multiple cracks in the wood legs. There was no external physical damage to the box or packaging. This was a quality control issue. Keep in mind this wasn't a small hairline crack, but a 6-8-inch-long crack in the wood that was highly visible. The vanity was re-wrapped and returned to Lowes. I expressed my disappointment with this product and for an item of this caliber and price. The Lowe's service desk employees could have cared less. It seemed the employees at the service desk were the D team. Overall Lowes has lost all our future business. Social media and word of mouth will help spread our experience to others. Big box home improvement stores, like Lowes, promise a lot through their advertisements, but in the end, it is all talk. I hope their corporate environment makes the right changes on what they guarantee to the public and adequately trains their employees. read more
