Not my first negative experience with Home Depot but I'm thinking this is the last. Purchased a solar battery and portable charging panel from them Nov 2025. Tested the unit and it worked on 3 occasions. Stored it properly, brought it out to test today for a new project - panel is dead. Ecoflow blames Home Depot; home depot blames EcoFlow; they tell me to come in and exchange, then call back to tell me I cannot because of their special policy of not carrying Ecoflow. Except they do, and they lie. so don't spend your money on Ecoflow OR Home Depot. Their customer service changes their policy by the second and they clearly do not respect their own policy on a 12 month warranty. read more

We had an outstanding experience today with sales associate 'Kyle'. Honestly, Home Depot has never impressed me with their customer service within the store. We have come many times and nobody offered to help. Today, Kyle immediately asked us if we needed help and proceeded to advise us on purchasing tile, grout, and tile adhesive. Horrible customer service! I went in the doors 10 mins before they closed to get a specific bit, and found it locked. I asked for help, and had two people come to look at the lock, and walk away. We went to buy a doggie door flap. The customer service person told us the Home Depot door flap would only fit an "Ideal" product which only Home Depot sold and directed us to Petsmart or Petco who neither sold the product. We went again the same day and asked to speak to the customer service person and they paged Ed who never showed up. In the meantime a very nice older gentleman showed up and realized we needed help and offered to help. Although that was not his specialty, he was extremely helpful and even opened the box to show us we could use the Home Depot product with our previous door. He was very patient, answered very politely and satisfied our concerns about the door. We were very satisfied that the person in that department did not show up. On my latest trip, I found some beautifully healthy plants. I purchased vibrant lavender, rosemary, snapdragons, and some succulents. My hall made for a nice winter afternoon of gardening. But I will give kudos to Kylie, I was looking for a special item and couldn't find it and found Kylie. She didn't believe that they had it but we looked anyway, then after about 10 or 15 minutes she said wait I know what might work for you and we found something that looked like it would work and it has worked great for what I needed it for. Horrible experience. Went into the store to purchase a new washing machine. Paperwork done, delivery set for 6 days later. All was good. Delivery day came, got text saying out for delivery, was #10 on the list and an estimated delivery time. Time came, and got an alert "we're here" followed immediately by "delivery attempted, sorry we missed you. we will contact you to reschedule". What? I've been here all day. No one showed up. Period. Contacted the 800 number and was told because we're in a gated community and they didn't have the gate code, too bad. Give us the gate code and we'll be back Monday (4 days from now). They cannot contact the delivery truck because it's a "third party" delivery service and they can't do anything until Monday. I explained to the salesman (Jorge) that we were in a gated community, and gave him the gate code when I made the purchase. But he didn't bother to add that info to the delivery instructions. Besides having supplied them with the code, the gate has a call box, and they have my cell number. They didn't bother to try the call box, nor did they bother to call me. I escallated to the operations manager at the local store ("John"). Nothing he could do either... because "the delivery service is NOT Home Depot"). We're sorry, but next available delivery window is Monday (4 days from now). So, since they couldn't do anything to correct their incompetence, I took action. I cancelled the order and ordered a washing machine from Lowes. Home Depot has lost a customer for life... too many options to put up with this garbage... I don't know why all the negativity. I really like this Home Depot location. My wife and I just closed on our first home here in Arizona after moving from the midwest. Their paint dept. mixed up several gallons of paint for us last Friday. They had everything we needed in stock except for a special order lock for our storm door that we had to buy online. Everything else they had locally which was a nice breath of fresh air. The store is clean with plenty of ample parking and the employees have always been helpful and friendly to us. For example, we asked where the pesticides were and they could have pointed up at the sky and said, "Uhhhhhhhhhhh.... like... it's like.... over... like... on one of those aisles that ends in the number 4 or sumthin'? Or uhhhhhh.... maybe it's 5? Dude....... I have no idea. What's a pestycyde?" ] They have always physically shown us in the aisle where the product is we're looking for and if they don't know, they find someone who does. I'm not quite sure what else you're needing from a big box store. Decent inventory. Home Depot prices. Good service. Good location. read more

I took my dad to his third Home Depot this evening looking for Christmas Laser lights that online showed were in stock. However, once we arrived they no longer had them in stock. We asked the manager if they would be getting anymore in stock however, they are seasonal so no. This manager went above and beyond and got an associate to get down the display model from their display and sold us what he had in stock. I cannot tell you how much this meant to me as my dad uses a walker and recently had heart surgery and it is difficult for him to be getting in and out of his car and walking into the stores. I just encountered what it's like to be a dentist at this Peoria location. I felt like I had to pull teeth to get someone here to help me. I was thinking about giving the man in appliances a donut to see if that would lure him off his seat long enough to help me look at the washing machines but that would have required me leaving the store and coming back and, after today's visit, I'm not coming back. After I couldn't get professional help with the washers, I left to the front of the store to pay for the rake. I was next in line. The man being helped in front of me decided he had forgotten something else he wanted in the store so he walked out of line. I guess if you're first in line, the cashier will hold your spot if you leave because that's exactly what she did. I walked up and set the rake down and said, "just this." She asked me if I was with the man who couldn't figure out whether he was done shopping or not. I told her that we weren't together. And, by the looks of it, he wasn't with her because he was walking all the way to the back of the store. AND SHE WAS STILL NOT GOING TO SELL ME THE RAKE UNTIL HE RETURNED TO PAY FOR HIS THINGS!!!! Trying to get my dryer....all I want is my dryer. Ordered on 4/5/24. Scheduled the delivery for my only day off which was the following Thursday. My delivery was cancelled and moved to Friday because the truck came in late. I cannot find someone to be at my house in the time frame given, so I move the delivery for Saturday. I get 2 emails the following day....one sent at 5:30 in the morning saying my delivery is moved to Monday and one sent at 8:53 am that says my delivery is scheduled for Saturday. Well which Is it!! I call to confirm and she told me that indeed it is MONDAY, even after I confirmed the SAT. delivery just yesterday. Bottom line is....if it is your fault for not meeting the original delivery date, you should be bending over backwards to get that product to the customer. I work in restaurant where one of our 10 Commandments is..."we never run out of ANYTHING". If we run out of something, someone is running to the store or another location to make sure that does not happen. I purchased a washer at Home Depot with a warranty in case we had problems. Our warranty is still active however it's useless! We've been without our washing machine since September 29th the lid broke on it. We contacted warranty department who sent repair man. The repair company said the warranty group would provide part for them to fix they couldn't help us. I've been calling this Home Depot warranty group since Sept with them promising it would be fixed. Finally they said they couldn't get part so they would send us replacement check. We waited the 10 days and no check no call from them. I called again they said they called and we agreed to wait for part, I told them you called my son while he was at work and told him part was in so to wait. My son was with a customer when they called him so he couldn't talk so just said fine and hung up. I explained to Home Depot warranty group he can't receive calls during work he'll get fired that's why I've been calling. I told them we can't and refuse to wait for part it's over 3 months with no washer!! So another manager from warranty said she was sending referral to parts department for them to refund for us to wait another 3 days. We waited nothing was told they would refer again wait another 3 days!! We're now in December no washer and when I called they said now they have part on way said would email tracking info ...never received it. We have called this warranty company over 20 times and still no washer or money to buy new one. Don't buy Home Depot warranty plan they don't stand behind their products at all. Me being without washer is no big deal to them.but it is to me!!! Beware of Home Depot and their Warranty plans. read more

We bought a fridge from Home Depot. For a few weeks, it had had a buzzing noise, every time it kicked on. We asked for a refund. And within the 30 day exception. They told us, we the consumer would have to pay a charge of 79 dollars, to pick up the item. ( restocking fee), but at the same time, said that they couldn't resell the item. Wtf! Good ole HOA wanted me to paint my house so I had to come here to get me some paint. This location looks just like any other Home Depot around. It was clean and organised and well kept. Service at the paint station was decently quick, but they could have been a little friendlier and professional. I had to kindly remind the older lady, I'm not a painter, I don't know the science and terminology of painting or houses, or anything of this nature. Keep it simple lady. I work behind a desk on a computer dealing with government stuff, I'm not a painter. Nor did I look like a painter either. My big glasses and nerdy dress shirt and slacks should of gave it away. After I said that she became more useful and helpful. Overall a decent experience, props to the muscular worker dude for helping me take the paint to my car! WOULD NEVER ORDER COUNTER TOPS HERE AGAIN! We ordered new Laminate counter tops eight weeks ago. I tore out all the old tops and plumbing the night before they arrived to save $350. The installer arrived with the wrong tops. He had a copy of the original order. We were never given a copy of the order. Someone had crossed out the color we had ordered (spring carnival) and written in a different color (summer carnival). So he left a top for the sink and left with the rest of our cabinets exposed. He said it could take them a week on a rush order to remake them. The counter top company says it was Home Depot's mistake. Home Depot says it was the counter top companies fault. 10 days later I called Home Depot they contacted the counter top company. I don't know their name. I was never given a copy of the order. The only copy that I have seen is the one the installer had with him. The counter top people called me back and said the new laminate hadn't arrived yet. Wow! I could have ordered it on Amazon Prime and had it in two days. After some prodding the woman said they could move our order to the front of the line when the laminate arrived. We are still waiting. After two weeks I finally slapped some material on top of the exposed cabinets so we could at least put the contents of the cabinets back.
