Home Depots are usually pretty similar with a few additions for the local area. The main difference is the service they provide. I have found staff in most of the time but have had to do some walking to find someone on occasion. Everyone has been helpful so it's just they need more help (like most places). I have worked with staff in appliances who had someone ahead of us but got to us as soon as he could. We do like Home Depot, recommend it and will be back. Hopefully, they can find more help to assist customers when they're trying to spend money in the store. read more

First , the wep page uses a full half of the computer screen which makes it near impossible to search for something , or sometimes just jumps around showing things you are NOT interested in. Next the web page shows things that are NOT available at your home store , a big waste of time. While searching for a new dryer the note on it said it was not returnable, go figure. read more

After explaining what I was looking for he suggested Smartkey for added security and if I want to minimize keys he showed me how to match numbers on boxes that are keyed the same. Every time I visit, all the personnel are helpful and usually can direct me to what I am looking for. I can almost always find what I need unless it is a vety specialized part or piece. The selections are great and I have been helped in pursuit of parts to finish my project by recommendations of staff that ended up saving me both money and time. read more

I bought a defective product from Home Depot on line. When I tried to return it, the customer service agent had UPS send me a shipping label. Somehow the label sent the product direct to the vendor, so Home Depot refused to refund my money. I was told by a customer service supervisor that she didn't care how long I had been a customer, and she didn't care if I never shopped there again! read more

Ordered two propane heaters, which were promised for Friday March 10. Now HD says they can't deliver until Monday March 13th. Tried to contact someone to find out what's going on, but I'm finding that's impossible because they hide everything but the information I need behind a wall of internet and telephone obfuscation. They won't even answer the email they sent me. I just get a canned response that I should log on to customer service (a colossal joke right now) top try to resolve this. I heard horror stories about Home Depot and finally had my own share. My house's washer is broken but dryer is still working. Therefore I went there and hoping to get a washer as replacement. The salesperson seemed busy and impatient but I still went for it. I told her the situation and I needed a stackable washer. She quickly helped me placed the order. And notes, they charge $25 to remove or tow away the old appliance. After about a week of purchase, they finally came to deliver, and the deliver guy wouldn't install it, because the dryer is not matching the washer. This information was not shared when I purchase the appliance. I had to refused the delivery. Then spent hours trying to get my refund, and when I visited the store again, another salesperson was there and pretty rude and not understanding. Purchased Whirlpool refrigerator on Dec '18 with 5 year extended warranty. Product died 9 SEP 22. After hours on multiple phone calls to their Extended Warranty carrier who promised timely return phone calls and emails we had to provide because they could not find the sales or warranty receipt. Now weeks later we still have NO SERVICE appointment, NO refrigerator with the carrier taking no calls because a hurricane is in the Caribbean headed for Tennessee??? I bought a lawn mower and asked for home delivery on the 22nd of may I paid well over 3000$ the first delivery date which was on the cart (online order) was the 23 of may that was bumped to the 2 of June then that was bumped to the 12th of June they contacted me the day before then on the 12th I got 4 texts and 3 calls telling me my mower was coming the truck arrived with no mower...... no, I have no money no mower am waiting for a refund who knows when that will come.... if I took your money and promised you an item in return but refused to deliver it and led you on to the fact that they were leading me on I got no mower all I got was a lot of my time wasted and got hung up on yes I got upset they have my money I have nothing but a promise that they will refund me my money .... Just spent 20 minutes online chatting with a multitasking idiot. After going to the store about a damaged online purchase. Neither store or online personnel were helpful. . I think they owe me more money than the purchase was worth. I am exhausted. 11 days later: I sent the information as per the Home Depot staff request. They replied they did not understand my request nor understood my complaint. I was finally able to return my broken blind at the store but the store was unable to reorder the blind for me. They refunded my purchase and told Me to reorder via the web When I attempted to reorder via web I was asked to pay shipping again!!!! I am returning the remaining blinds and discontinue shipping with Home Depot!!! Their customer service is the worst I have encountered. I ordered a better quality blind from lowes. I had pieces of wood I needed cut in the lumber department I followed the sign to where the cutting department was. Found an older guy (salt n pepper hair) that worked there. He was leaning against the wall messing with his phone. I asked him if anyone was cutting wood today or where I should look to find somebody. He said, I don't know why, don't you go and look yourself and then the saw noise went off and he goes maybe you should be smart and follow the saw sound. In my head I'm like are u kidding me, f you. BUT!! I found someone that helped me out with my wood. I want to say Todd( medium plus build, shaved head).. maybe well anyway he works in the lumber department and he was amazing. Super super nice!! I needed paint but there was no one in the paint dept. We waited 5 min before setting off to find paint on our own. The aisle where the paint we needed was blocked off. We waited a few minutes but still no one avail to help. I entered the aisle because I did not see any reason it was blocked. I found the paint I needed and was reaching to get it when a RUDE "SABRINRA IN PAINT DEPT", Roseburg, Oregon hostily told me "Get out of this aisle! You cannot be here!" I told her there was no one available to help us, or I would have asked for help. She snapped, "I've been at the front desk". I told her nicely that no one was in the paint dept, we had waited there 5 min. She insisted she in fact was there and we needed to leave! Wow! I told her I needed 1 gal semi-gloss interior paint, the least expensive they have. She said, "Get out of here, you can leave!" Since their computer shows 7 in stock they can not order it online to be delivered to the store or my home, even if I was to pay for the shipping! I just called to make an appointment to have someone measure windows in our home. The lady who answered told me that it would be $35 to have someone come out and then that amount is deducted from the price of the windows if we choose to buy them. If not, the $35 is non-refundable. This store is ok as long as you don't need help from anyone. If you have questions, need help with a heavy item or need to special order something, get in your car and drive to Jerry's in Eugene. If you ask where something is you'll get sent to the wrong aisle. We special ordered a high end bath vanity. We picked it up in store and carefully took it home. When we opened the crate we discovered that it had been dropped and broken badly. When we called the store, we were told, "Tough luck. You should have opened it at the store." They told us we could order and pay for another one. Our contractor had to rebuild the back right corner of the unit and was able to still use it because the damaged area was hidden by the wall but it's still a constant reminder of their lousy customer service. A couple weeks ago we went in and tried to buy a new hot water heater. We stopped at customer service and asked them them to send someone to help us load one. After waiting a long time, we left. We're both disabled and loading a big Rheem hot water heater is not something we're able to do. read more

In comparison with other home depots across the state, the Roseburg Home Depot's adherence to covid precautions is appalling. While staff were wearing masks they were often wearing them inappropriately, often worn loosely and not covering their noses. They had no enforcement of mask wearing for the customers, many people were walking around without masks with no care for fellow citizens. Home Depot management clearly had no care for their own policies or protecting the wellbeing of their customers. Also, a lot of items were out of stock. We see plenty of delivery trucks I'm assuming from Roseburg. We do make the short trip over specifically to shop this and a couple other stores! They always have what we're looking for at pricing that covers the gas, the options for some added fun, and someplace new to go out for dinner! My husband and i went there today to purchase flooring and paint for a house remodel, and i must say i have never bewn ao unhappy with a store ever. First, it was almost impossible to get anyone to help us with flooring, when we finally found someone to help, we went to check out and that was a total disaster, the checker told us that they dis not have the flooring that we needed in stock...after we had already had an associate count and write the sku # of what we needed. They lost a $2500 purchase today, because of their lack of knowledge and communication. Also, their tile area is a mess. You Can Do It They Won't Help I'm someone who has heavily relied on The Home Depot throughout my career. As such I've had the luxury of being saved by home depot's all over the west coast and have come to know them as a reliable store and brand, perhaps you have to. Well if you're looking for a sharp departure from the helpful service and knowledgeable staff you have come to know through The Home Depot brand, look no further than the Roseburg branch of the store. The proverbial red headed step child (or Orange as it were) of the organization, Roseburg Home Depot stands alone in its overwhelming ineptitude and consistent inability to service the customer. No matter if you are asking to use their broken saws to cut boards, find a lumber cart to shop with, pick up an online order or heaven forbid return it; you can count on slow service, poorly trained staff and a general "I have no idea, do you?" sort of approach to problem solving from the Roseburg location. Get ready to enjoy comments like: "oh my gosh you've been standing there this whole time and I'm just over here chatting and laughing like there's nothing to do" and: "yeah I have to scan each of these 72 fittings cause management only lets you get away with quantity scans at the registers." Continuing with a fan favorite: "well we have two boxes in stock, it's just that their on the truck and no one's gotten around to unloading 'em yet" and one of my personal favorites, "I know absolutely nothing about anything in this entire store;" all delivered through a jovial smile and accompanied by many laughs. It's very hard to believe, but I have been frequenting this location for 4 months now (old habits die hard and I have 15 year's experience getting good service from qualified staff), I am comfortable officially calling shenanigans on this circus of apathy and incompetence. If you are looking for the type of helpful staff and reasonable service you have come to know from The Home Depot, just go 3 minutes over the freeway to Lowes and you'll find it. Love this store and shop here all the time. The employees are super friendly and go out of their way to help you find what your looking for. I personally think the store is very clean and spacious, except maybe at Christmas when all the shippers are everywhere but it's like that at any store that time of year. They keep the products well stocked and have lots of clearance clearly marked. I prefer Home Depot any day over the competition across the street. Went into Home Depot and had to ask a few questions. The ladies in the Roseburg Home Depot were more engaged in their own conversation than helping a customer. I had to wait then finally interrupt them and ask if I could get some assistance. Not only did they tell me that there was "no way to help" me, but were so rude that I left $400 of merchandise.
