Just want to say thank you to Reyna in customer service tonight for helping me return my blinds tonight. Customer service lights were off well before closing time, so I walked in panicking trying to return blinds that aren't even a week into me buying them. My schedule is tight and I always come back for what I need, just didn't want to miss my timeline with the return policy. I don't mean to shame people but it would have been gentle if the other two employees standing in that direct area would have helped. I appreciate customer service. Reyna was quick, took us all but 3 minutes and she did all with genuine kindness and professionalism. My only reason to leave this review is to also point out this was my second time returning blinds. The first time, both times the products unopened, the girls were younger and took so much longer taking care of me and other customers middle of the day. Once taken care of, it was mostly waiting for them to prompt me next on the computer while they texted and talked about their next date while on their phones. I hate to be a Karen. The people in flooring treated us asking for a bulk delivery for clearance items as a total chore. We just wanted to put in a delivery order, tried to make it as simple as possible for them. One worker told us they had 70+ of the planks in stock between the aisle and the back, but was only able to find 50, we were still willing to work with it. Another worker when we were ready to set up for delivery told us all they had were in the aisle and didn't bother to check anywhere else... or ask someone else to check in the back, even when their system said a different number of availability. I requested a quote from Home Depot for Carpet installation, they were quick to have someone come out. The company that came and did the measurements was HDMS. The gentleman was very friendly and answered all my questions. I was fine with my quote and made the payment. Today I received a call from Floor Pro, the people whom will install carpet. I have now been told that I have to remove the current laminate flooring in 2 rooms and dispose of myself, they will not. These are the only two rooms without carpet. My entire upstairs is getting redone excluding restrooms . Also if any subfloor needs repair, they can not do it and I have to find another company outside of them. I asked these questions in advance and was not informed before hand. I have already paid and was looking forward to new carpet. Knowing these two details in advance when I asked the questions would have been nice to know, I could have looked elsewhere or at least taken that into consideration before hand. Not happy with Home depot lack of communication between all subcontracted companies. Maybe you all can talk to each other for future business and get on the same page. read more

Home Depot is not what it use to be, I'd rather Lowes. Their refusal of refunds is applicable to particular groups, and more stringent with OTHER'S. I bought 2 toilets, a dishwasher,vent hood and washer and dryer. My items were rung up at a desk in appliances. I ended up NOT needing a toilet for a master bathroom. HOME Depot refused to accept the return because the toilet didn't match the receipt, I left the toilet thinking they home Depot would act in good. After an half hour of arguing with the manager of the forum location. On top of the washer not being balanced the installation of the dishwasher flooded my kitchen. I bought a fridge, washer, and dryer from Home Depot on January 20th, thinking the process would be smooth. On the first delivery attempt, the team arrived without the stacking kit needed for installation. They gave me the option to keep the washer and dryer or send them back until they had everything. Since I had just moved in and didn't have much space, I let them take it back. Big mistake. After waiting with no updates, I called and found out there were no stacking kits in the warehouse, something they didnt mention earlier. So, I ordered one, had it delivered to my house, and let them know it had arrived. They scheduled a new delivery date. Problem solved? Fast forward to delivery day (weeks later), and they showed up with only another stacking kit. No washer. No dryer. Just a confused delivery crew wondering where the appliances were. Now I'm being told I have to wait until the next available delivery date on February 8th. I'm not upset with the employees, they've been polite. And I got a great deal on the appliances. But the communication and coordination has been a nightmare. I shouldn't have to constantly call for updates or deal with delivery teams showing up without the right items. If you're ordering appliances from Home Depot, be prepared for possible delays and a whole lot of follow-ups. Hoping they get it right this time. read more

And that the cabinets would be completely finished when they left. When the gentleman that came out to do the work left. Great experience at Home Depot today. I'm admittedly a Lowe's person but they wouldn't cut some wood down to fit in the car so we checked out home depot and they didn't give us a single problem. I always thought they were more expensive with things and lacked in customer service but today proved me wrong, maybe because it wasn't so crowded. The price difference wasn't drastic, we saved maybe $4 dollars coming here instead of Lowe's, but I'm really happy that they'll cut wood down to get it in your car. I'm also used to waiting an astronomical amount of time to check out while I'm at Lowe's but the lines moved quickly over here, 3 mins tops. I might have to change my person preference to Home Depot after today, they also had prettier looking flowers. read more

We went to purchase flooring for a property. We spent two hours trying to buy floorin. Service repdidn't know how to work system called upon his superior I believe her name was Cherrelle, who was extremely rude. We were told to buy all the product at this location, but one quarter of the flooring would have to be picked up at a different location. They both couldn't figure how to place order in system. The next day we checked on our order by going to the second location to secure product only to find out they were never notified we had bought the flooring. We called the Culebra 1604 location to no avale. Phone rings and no one picked up. We had to drive back to speak to another rep in person to secure our purchase. Very poor customer service. These individuals need training. Tim, was helpful when we went back. I don't think I'll be going back to this location. read more

Always have to find a staff person if you have questions. Good prices on most everything and their Ryobi brand stuff is very affordable. Bought a battery powered pricey mower last year that didn't hold battery charge for long and took 1 hrs to charge up the battery for about another 30 minutes of cutting. The mower, A Ryobi, was supposed to be able to cut an acre on the battery charge but didn't happen. I was able to get a refund very swiftly so kudos for that. read more

On Wednesday, October 19th., I purchased a Rheem Performance 40 gal Tall 6-year 36,000 BTU Natural Gas Tank Water Heater SKU 1001300147 from Home Depot, who appoints Will Fix It as their service provider to install and setup the unit. The technicians arrived to install the unit with an expansion tank on Friday, October 21th. After the installation was complete, there was no mention of any operating issues or missing parts which I then offered to make a payment. The technician stated that he was unable to take and process payment as well as me signing any electronic documents due to not having the proper device, and that Will Fix It will reach out. I checked for water temperature two hours later to determine if the unit was operating properly. To my dissatisfaction, the water from the faucets did not flow with a slight degree of warm water. I made my way to the garage to do a visual inspection of the unit, which felt cold. The Light Indicator was completely off with the knob in the off position. There were no solid or blinking lights on the indicator to determine that the water heater had a malfunction and needed attention. I reached out to Will Fix It to advise that the unit was completely off and was scheduled with a technician to ignite the pilot the next day, Saturday, October 22nd at 10:30am which was canceled by Will Fix It the next morning and rescheduled for Monday, October 24th in the morning. They made no offer for Sunday, granting that their website states they offer service 7 days a week. The technician arrived as scheduled, who advised my mother that a Pilot Assembly (SP20248B) was needed and couldn't complete the service call. I reached out to the company within an hour and spoke to a manager to reiterate what they said to my mother. The manager briefly explained that a component was missing and that a part had been ordered and should arrive at her place in four (4) days. The manager made no effort to meet expectations nor offered a quick resolution, only boasting that if it had been one of their units, they would be out there. He advised that once the part comes in, give them a call to install at no additional cost. Contrary to their website, they demonstrated no exceptional service, leaving us completely dissatisfied. On Tuesday, October 25th, a voicemail was left by Darrell with ABC Plumbing, who does warranty work for Rheem, stating that he received a dispatch to take care of the water heater and advised to call him once the part comes in. The component was delivered on Saturday, October 29th, which I made a call, only to be told that he does not work on the weekends, and if we can confirm for Monday, October 31st. On Monday, October 31st, Darrell, along with a partner, arrived as scheduled and worked on the unit for nearly two (2) hours. After completion, he stated he ordered an additional part that was required (Thermal Release Device SP20246B) which he had with him and installed. The plumber stated that if he did not have the component, we would have waited four more days for the device to arrive. I agreed that once the item arrived, to give him a call to replace what he installed. There was no same-day service provided as advertised by Home Depot and no love in showing exceptional service according to their authorized service provider's website. Ten (10) days without hot water is unacceptable and is contrary to what's being promoted. The whole experience has left me very upset and undervalued as a first-time customer of Will Fix, it I will absolutely file a complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. This experience has inconvenienced us, especially for my 80-year-old mother, who does not find cold showers comforting at all. read more

Whatever you do, don't buy the Replacement plan, nothing but run around from Home Depot warranty department and Ryobi. Save your money and just buy a new product from Lowe's. The plan is not a replacement plan, but a scam, it says Replacement but it is an extension of the warranty after the warranty ends. Most manufacturers cover defects from the product not from usage "which they consider neglect, and is usually 1-5 years. So the Home Depot replacement plan kicks in after those 5 years. ‍ Not to mention the attitude from the service department in both Home Depot and Ryobi. I might have to take this up with the attorney general in my state. Sickening!! read more

I can always find the part I need on the app, but I can never find it in the store, and the associates seem to be just as confused when they try to find the part I am also looking for. My biggest gripe is all of the pro customer parking reserved spaces... A little more info for parents: it's from 9-11 or 9-12 depending on location, you walk in and their have signs that tell you where it's at, or you can follow the kids, and or ask an employee. When you get to the location, they have you fill out an information sheet, your name, your child's name, age, and address, and you get a small package of the items you are building, an apron( sometimes they give you one to take, if not then to borrow) and a pin that shows what you made and you can put this on the apron or to collect. You sit on the rugs or area available and they have hammers, glue, screw drivers ready for you to use, and sometimes they have a paint station also! You open the package and follow the directions to assemble. It's very easy. If you get stuck, you can ask other parents for help. When you finish, you keep the project and wait for the next month! :) read more

I couldn't find anyone to help me, then asked one young girl wearing a kitten eared beanie who walked by if she could help me... she ignored me, so I asked again and she said "look I don't work in this section" and walked off. I then went up to another couple of young workers who were on their phones, who also said they didn't know, but thankfully they pointed me to the direction of someone who might be able to help me. I don't know if they're hiring process just aims at young people with absolutely no construction knowledge, or obviously no customer service skills... but that's what it seems to be. This location has consistently messed up my paint orders over the last month. The first time I ordered 2 colors, and they mixed the labels up--to my surprise as I started painting. The next time I ordered a can of what I already have my walls painted as in my bathroom. The paint dried with a pink tint to it...idk what they did to the can but there's no reason for it to not match when it's the same shade. What would be the point of having paint on hand to do touch ups? Now I have a big pink square where an old light fixture was hanging in my bathroom. You now have to go all the way back to the entrance and snake behind a short wall to wait for a cashier. Of course there are a few but their stacked behind each other, so they cannot see you and you cannot see them. So you wait for someone to get off their dead ass to help you. Once you finally check out, you have to go back out into the main aisle and make a Full circle to leave the store. Yes fighting with everyone coming and going. You cannot pay and leave. So far, sooooo frustrating. Hopefully our flooring experience improves as this process moves slloooooowwwwwly along... Purchased Pergo for about half of our home about a month ago. Was at first frustrated by the fact that the installation would be coordinated through and performed by a third-party contracted company, not Home Depot itself. Now, that use of non-HD folks *definitely* seems like a benefit or bonus. Absolutely EVERY interaction we've had at HD or with HD folks thus far has been chaotic, bumbling, STRESSFUL... It totally feels like one hand doesn't know what the other's doing - zero continuity or competence - and there are extra charges & hidden fees & upsells at every turn, feeling much like a stereotypical used-car purchase. When we purchased our desired flooring (in-stock at this store), signage advertised $0.89/SF install. (This is after they scheduled the contracted company to come and measure, for, of course, a fee) That advertised install cost doesn't apparently include ANY of the requisite parts of installing flooring... Delivery? Fee. Glue? Fee. Move the couch? Yup, that'll be extra. Pull up carpet? Cha ching!! Put the baseboards back? Keep that wallet out. And THEN, even though the flooring we wanted was in stock, at this store, they try and charge a "special order price" as opposed to the stickered price ($0.40/SF higher) because the delivery (which they were also charging a $100ish fee for) would be "other" stock, special ordered for the delivery folks' convenience. Huh???? It all feels very deceptive. Since installation is performed by a separate entity, we were told that no information about the timing of install could be given at the time of purchase. That when our flooring was pulled off the shelf and ready to pick up, AND our "special order" installation supplies (roll eyes SO hard!) arrived, Home Depot would let the install company know, and THEN the install company would call us to schedule install. (SO many hoops! much inconvenience! Wow.) Well... That call to the install company from HD was never made. Even though they don't have to order a thing, it was all pulled and from store stock and awaiting our pick up. The install company called US to check on status, since they hadn't heard anything. And now, since Home Depot has *again* dropped the ball, it's going to be another month before the install company is able to fit us in their schedule and I have my not-inexpensive floor actually in place on the floor, as opposed to stacked in the guest bedroom. SIGH. Jeez do I ever hope the situation improves and I'm able to update this to a better rating soon! read more

My husband and I were just at your location, about 4 pm, and had the WORST customer service we have ever experienced. We asked one of the Pro cashiers to answer a question regarding plywood on an end cap. She was very willing to help us and then this guy cut in. He was arrogant, had a skinny goatee and ball cap (didn't get his name) and cut in front of her. The plywood was in the wrong spot, it was a pallet of 1/2 inch under 3 sheets of 3/4 inch, of which we needed 8 sheets. My husband asked if we could have a pallet dropped to get 5 more sheets of 3/4 and the associate said "Well, if I drop it and pop it open, I won't have anywhere to put it, so no." We then chose to leave and shop at our local Lowes where we experienced great customer service. read more

Bought a new washing machine from Home Depot. Got it home and it broke down in the middle of the first load. Called Home Depot and was told we had to call the service company, even though I found out over a week later we had 48 hours from delivery to return items but was not told this on the phone. Over two weeks later we are still waiting to get our machined repaired and are having to pay to do our laundry. Home Depot washed their hands of it the minute we walked out the door and said we have to deal with the manufacturer. POOR customer service as they have no care in helping us solve this issue.
