What I needed was very top rack but service was quick to help
Paul D.

Seems to be getting better. Things were somewhat organized compared to a previous time I was here and availability has improved I think. Things are affordable for now and staff was helpful and there are multiple things to buy in garden areas. Had to check everything out. Keep it up and maybe I will include this in my project circuit.

I just bought a new Schlage deadbolt lock from here. Bruce was friendly and went above and beyond to rekey it for me. I've been coming to this location for the last 20 years and I've ALWAYS had a great experience. I bought my home cabinets and countertops from here in 2004, I still get tons of compliments from friends on how well they have held up. Thanks to Melanie for the help in designing my beautiful and durable kitchen!

For some reason, I must be a gluttony for pain as I can never figure out why I continuously come back to this particular Home Depot. By far this has to be the least helpful Home Depot as I can never get the help I need or someone available. It's always "let me get the person for this area" or they give me an answer that I already Google'd. I've come in multiple times and on the last one, had a question for home and garden area. Luckily I thought I had an advantage as the merchandise expert teams who are setting up the holiday stuff got on the radio and said that there was a customer needing help. 5 minutes later, no help, and there is no one in the store as it's just after 9:15 am When I finally did get some help it was over the phone while the merchandise expert team talk to me between me and the local person. It's just disappointing as no matter how many times I come here or no matter what area I'm looking for help I seem to get the worst advice or just no customer help. I would not recommend coming here unless you know specifically what you need and you don't have questions

Home Depot staff tying down the refrigerator with twine.

Big THANK YOU to the Home Depot staff at the Warner Rd location. Today my wife and I purchased a refrigerator from this store. We bit off more than we could chew in terms of trying to take it home same day because it turned out that the refrigerator only narrowly fit in our SUV. With the help of Vanessa, Arianna, Hunter, and a few others; the Home Depot staff expertly removed the door handles, navigated the refrigerator into our SUV, and tied it down with twine. They also forewarned us not to plug in the refrigerator for 24 hours after transport; something which I was blissfully unaware of previously. The staff went above and beyond and we truly appreciate their extra efforts.

It's a Home Depot Homer Christmas!

I didn't think I'd find one in Arizona, but lo and behold... SummerWinds Nursery had it! The tree was healthy, vibrant, and honestly felt like a little miracle. In Filipino culture, calamansi is considered lucky. People plant it to attract abundance, place coins and grains at the base for prosperity, and use its juice in cleansing rituals. My mom was over the moon when I bought her one. The staff at SummerWinds were super helpful and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about their plants and their customers. The nursery itself is beautiful--peaceful, well-organized, and full of unique finds. Prices were reasonable. You can also get rewards here if you return again. Great value! Special thanks to Quinn for helping us load the tree to my car. If you're looking for something special or just want to be surrounded by plant magic, this place is worth the visit. Not only do we go to them during the holidays but rely on them throughout the year when we need additional plants and trees for our backyard. We first started using Whitfill back in the early 2000's when they were on 40th street south of Roeser. We literally lived across the street from their nursery and when they moved to their current spot on Southern we followed! We have decades of photos with our boys standing next to the tree they choose for Christmas and the tradition continues now with our Sphynx cats! They used to have a peacock walking around but unfortunately he is no longer there. They are pet friendly and we are comfortable taking our cats there in the stroller. Not only are their prices and tree selections the best in town but their customer service and knowledge of anything tree related is vast! They know what they are doing and don't try to upsell or get you to buy unnecessary items. They are the real deal!

I shouldn't need to walk all the way back up front to ask -- and I've been giving the wrong information before anyhow. Its important to know what kind of plant you're buying for multiple reasons. The other Whitfill location (off Guadalupe and Cooper) doesn't have this issue. Overall I think the plants are pretty healthy but after having an issue with lack of labeling (on both the kind of plant and pricing), having been given the wrong plant info on a plant, and after having asked if they had Pink Fairy Duster and being sent off in a direction to wander and never find it on my own, I'm really over this location.

And it wasn't just your ordinary one they had the unique one whose leaves were different and thrives in the very hot climate of AZ! I was also able to locate some Queen Palms that were a great addition to my backyard that they delivered and planted for me. I simply selected the ones I wanted and scheduled the delivery and planting. The only hiccup with my experience was that the post to secure the trees was an added fee at delivery. My only recommendation would be to disclose that at purchase so there's no confusion with the folks doing the delivery and the planting. The planting was $50 per tree which includes all the soil enhancements for planting. I had 3 trees and each added pole/post per tree was an added $15 per tree and what was collected at that point was $200. Somehow that math didn't quite add up --- maybe the gentleman was overheated at that point? Lesson learned at this point but would have been nice to know up front as I had already paid for the delivery fee and the trees and was made aware of the $50 per tree PLANTING fee to be paid at delivery but those posts were sure pricey!

I would get about a foot of trimming when the cord would snap at the spool and I would have to stop work to open up the spool housing, remove the spool, free the cord and reset everything. I purchased four of these MDT cord refill spools and all of them would do this. It's bad enough that the cord is short-lived and you can go through one spool in just two weekends of yard work. Consequentially, I had to purchase replacement eyelets (6), and since the springs were not available as a spare part, a replacement head. In addition this year have purchased 10 more eyelets and currently have three head assemblies but no springs. The springs are a little easier to find in the tall grass or weeds than the eyelets, but not always. Because the head is spinning at high rpm's when it disassembles, the search radius can be quite large. MTD is the manufacturer of this trimmer but will not sell the required replacement springs nor supply specifications / part number for the spring so it can be purchased from another supplier. The trimmer does not perform without this spring. It is a critical part. It seems like I have spent more time searching for lost springs and trying to find replacements than I have actually using the trimmer. Outside of the poor design of of the bump head that flies apart, if you accidentally hit something solid, it is a good running gas trimmer. Replacing the spring and eyelets would be tolerable if the springs were available. It is very disappointing that this manufacturer is not willing or capable of supplying the information or parts required to keep their equipment operable. How many head assemblies must you purchase just to get the lousy spring. This shows little concern for the end user. This spring should be a spare/purchasable part !
