The customer service delivered at this location is always above average and beats Arizona's typical standards. The seasonal decor this year both at Halloween and for Christmas has been nicely adorned and plentiful. We enjoy visiting for all things tools, wood, and ornaments. They really do have a vast array of items, almost like being a depot for home goods.

Just like any other Home Depot. The store is well kept, I didnt need help but there were plenty of employees I could've asked. Found what I needed and almost identical pricing to Lowes. Major attention is needed in their Mens Restroom though. You'll see the pictures, but also no soap dispenser works so they just put a couple bottles of soap on the sinks like we have at home. Not cool guys

Brian from paint is awesome. He deserves a promotion or raise whatever it may be. He knows his stuff and stays calm and cool in high stress situations. I went once and I was clueless as to what paint brushes to use or even what kind of paint or how much I would need. He was able to look at the project I had and help me with all of that. I went back on a Saturday, different project, and Home Depot was packed. Huge line in paint department. Waited my turn. The person who helped me had no idea what she was doing. I had to wait for Brian who was slammed but he buzzed through helping everyone. Idk what I would have done had he not been there to help. Thanks Brian!!!

I would say that 80ish% of this review is mainly in regards to the Garden Center and 20ish for the rest of the store lol. Wow what a beautiful garden center! It's so clean and organized. When you walk in it's like a cut out from a catalog, it's that organized. I can go on and on. I've been coming here a few times over the past 2 weeks to purchase plants for spring/summer planting and am just so shocked. Everything that they have is gorgeous. When I go across the street to the competitor, the Garden Center looks meh. As for the rest of the store, everyone is friendly and I especially like that they don't approach you every 2 seconds to see if you're "finding everything okay?" Checking out is also fast and efficient.

I didn't think I'd find one in Arizona, but lo and behold... SummerWinds Nursery had it! The tree was healthy, vibrant, and honestly felt like a little miracle. In Filipino culture, calamansi is considered lucky. People plant it to attract abundance, place coins and grains at the base for prosperity, and use its juice in cleansing rituals. My mom was over the moon when I bought her one. The staff at SummerWinds were super helpful and genuinely kind. You can tell they care about their plants and their customers. The nursery itself is beautiful--peaceful, well-organized, and full of unique finds. Prices were reasonable. You can also get rewards here if you return again. Great value! Special thanks to Quinn for helping us load the tree to my car. If you're looking for something special or just want to be surrounded by plant magic, this place is worth the visit. And it wasn't just your ordinary one they had the unique one whose leaves were different and thrives in the very hot climate of AZ! I was also able to locate some Queen Palms that were a great addition to my backyard that they delivered and planted for me. I simply selected the ones I wanted and scheduled the delivery and planting. The only hiccup with my experience was that the post to secure the trees was an added fee at delivery. My only recommendation would be to disclose that at purchase so there's no confusion with the folks doing the delivery and the planting. The planting was $50 per tree which includes all the soil enhancements for planting. I had 3 trees and each added pole/post per tree was an added $15 per tree and what was collected at that point was $200. Somehow that math didn't quite add up --- maybe the gentleman was overheated at that point? Lesson learned at this point but would have been nice to know up front as I had already paid for the delivery fee and the trees and was made aware of the $50 per tree PLANTING fee to be paid at delivery but those posts were sure pricey!

They pack the cord in such a way as to have it break off every 2". I would get about a foot of trimming when the cord would snap at the spool and I would have to stop work to open up the spool housing, remove the spool, free the cord and reset everything. I purchased four of these MDT cord refill spools and all of them would do this. It's bad enough that the cord is short-lived and you can go through one spool in just two weekends of yard work. Avoid MTD at all costs.

Consequentially, I had to purchase replacement eyelets (6), and since the springs were not available as a spare part, a replacement head. In addition this year have purchased 10 more eyelets and currently have three head assemblies but no springs. The springs are a little easier to find in the tall grass or weeds than the eyelets, but not always. Because the head is spinning at high rpm's when it disassembles, the search radius can be quite large. MTD is the manufacturer of this trimmer but will not sell the required replacement springs nor supply specifications / part number for the spring so it can be purchased from another supplier. The trimmer does not perform without this spring. It is a critical part. It seems like I have spent more time searching for lost springs and trying to find replacements than I have actually using the trimmer. Outside of the poor design of of the bump head that flies apart, if you accidentally hit something solid, it is a good running gas trimmer. Replacing the spring and eyelets would be tolerable if the springs were available. It is very disappointing that this manufacturer is not willing or capable of supplying the information or parts required to keep their equipment operable. How many head assemblies must you purchase just to get the lousy spring. This shows little concern for the end user. This spring should be a spare/purchasable part !
