If you ever need a carpet, DO NOT go here. They messed around with my 70 year old parents so much and made their moving experience 10 times more stressful than it needed to be. My dad went back and forth with management several times. First installers showed up with the wrong color, then the next time no one showed up at all on the date we were given. It's been two months and we still don't have the carpet we ordered. HORRIBLE communication and customer service and they don't even care. read more

WORSE POSSIBLE SERVICE! THEY DON'T EVEN PICK UP PHONE CALLS. Paid a couple thousand dollars for carpet installation and was told it would take about 7-10 days to receive the carpet and will schedule installation. It has been about 3 weeks and when I call the installation company they said the carpet has not been received. When I call Home Depot they don't even pick up the phone. I've been to many Home Depots and this location is by far the most unorganized and unprofessional. I'm still waiting for my carpet. Horrible experience trying to get a floor installation. Had materials delivered to my home. Took a day off for the installation only to learn from the installer that the floor is mostly damaged and unusable. After numerous calls and weeks of no follow ups I ended up having to lug all this broken junk back to the store. I cancelled the order and went to Lowe's. Customer service was ten times better, price was better and flooring installed as planned. Done with Home Depot. The staff is never helpful and every time I go for a particular item it is out of stock or they don't carry it. The topper was when I was accused of shoplifting as I was walking out of the store by one of the cashiers. After a quick look at my receipt they realized they made a mistake. The employee didn't even apologize for falsely accusing me. She just turned around and muttered something under her breath as she walked away. We made the mistake of purchasing Samsung Washer and Dryer combo. Beware that these machines do not wash clothes properly and being that Home Depot whom we purchased appliances from does nothing to refund you. They direct you directly to Samsung and wash their hands in any responsibility for selling appliances that do not perform their task as they should. So now I've spent $1600+ on washer and dryer that doesn't work and my original washer and dryer have also been removed so I'm left in a bad situation for purchasing from Home Depot. This has got to be the worst home depot around! I was there today to get 16 MORE bags of decorative landscape stone for my yard. Three days ago I emptied out the stock they had but the girl at the garden checkout pointed to an additional wrapped pallet up above so I knew they would have what I needed when I went back. I go back today, pallet still on the rack and no one in the garden center. They called several times for assistance. After waiting a few minutes at the front, I was told I came at a bad time. Saturday at 12:30 is a bad time? That is when people are home and do things that require what home depot sells. After 45 min. I decided not to wait any longer. As I was walking out I told the man who called for assistance that I can't wait All he said was ok..no apology, nothing. I'm heading to Lowes now. read more

I am giving this store at least 1 star because, First, this Home Depot is nicely furnished and has what u need. The PROBLEM is their employees, including managaement. They act as if they are doing you a favor by showing up to work and doing nothing and trying to look cute. The employees spend more time telling each other about their last night's follies and ignoring the customer. Even getting an attitude if you interrupt them to ask them a question, that they can not answer. The last PROBLEM, is trying to check out. If the clerk would take their hands off their hips, while talking to their friends, they would at least be able to ring the purchase into the cash register. When I went to the store last weekend, I waited 43 minutes just to get someone to help me to get an appointment for meaning for my new home. Then, after I received my qoute, I went ahead to made a payment and my order was not even in the system. I signed up for a class on Saturday morning at Home Depot. I was to learn how to install a lighting fixture. I asked one young woman when I walked in, she didn't know they offered classes and didn't know where I should go. She said try the lighting department. While walking to the lighting dept, I asked a young man. He didn't know and said I should ask at customer service. Ok, walked over to customer services and the line was out the door. I caught the eye of one of the representatives and asked where the classes were held. He looked at me like I was nuts and said he didn't know. Sometimes they are held outside, sometimes down in the lumber area. I asked if he could find out. He called a "manager" and she said she had no idea. He apologized and said the store manager was fired this week so it probably wasn't set up. As I was walking out of the store, a gentleman said "it's always something with this place". I kind of differ from these people ,, I have had both good nad bad but the majority good expierences there,, they have always been polite..helpful,, and if they aren't sure where an item is they go beyond in helping me locate it. their return people are also very nice , never had an issue returning anything...different departments have helped me with info on how to fix. mend, build whatever I need to know numerous times always patient as I became a widow 4 years ago and have had to do things myself .. they are informative beyond!! also I find very friendly .. the check out isn't greatest but that's because it's also a busy store ,, and there's a reason for that!! kath, lynbrook read more
