Based on our incredible bad service would give them negative 5 Stars! We purchased a dishwasher, stove and microwave oven: BIG MISTAKE!!! After installing and scratching our wooden in numerous places we were informed by installer (Lamare) that he could install the dishwasher without having to cut the floor and HD wouldn't allow him to do it. BUT, BUT, his company could! So he gave us the option of me (homeowner) cutting floor to get the dishwasher out and he would come back (he had a another delivery - he came in a box truck from Enterprise with multiple appliances). He gave us a number and said to call when it was out. Simple unscrewed the balance legs of the old dishwasher and it came right out! No floor cutting was necessary. There was some dust around where the leg/balancing screws where but the turned and recessed enough to get the dishwasher out. We call Customer Service after being on hold for 40+ minutes and complained. The too tried calling Lamare and could not reach him. They said they would send someone out to install the new dishwasher in the middle of our Kitchen in two days. We called later to confirm and found out the Larmare had cancelled the order because the old dishwasher couldn't be removed! We called HD back asked what was going and they said they would refund the installation cost and take the old dishwasher (we also paid for this) on a Saturday. But, we would have to hire a plumber to put the new dishwasher in. It couldn't get worse. HD sucks! And, it's installers a independent hacks that don't want to do the work and have you pay them (outside of HD) to do they job they should have done in the first place. Me and my wife had a very disappointing experience today! We went right before Christmas to look at appliances and talked to what we thought was a helpful salesman however he told us to focus on LG appliances because if we bought four we would save $500. He then said we could use the veterans discount on top of all that... Fast forward to this afternoon and they don't honor the veterans discount on appliances and the bundle and save that he told us about didn't included the washer and dryer so we wouldn't save any money. We went in expecting to save 380 for veterans discount and 500 for the bundle and save for a total of 880 roughly only to find out we'd have to pay the normal everyday price... They need to train their employees better than this because it wasted several evenings of us looking at LG only and bringing my mother to see them as well as bringing my father in law... all this time expecting the deal we were told about... To make a long story short don't believe the sales ppl they will either lie to get you hooked, or don't know what they are talking about either way we were disappointed and are now back to shopping and figuring out the appliance situation... The only positive thing was the lady today was very nice and kept apologizing for her coworkers lie... she said he knows better and shouldn't have told us any of that... however that didn't help the fact that the price we planned on paying went up by more than $800. read more

My wife and I (followed the kids) and moved to Ohio a year ago. I have been at this Home Depot quite a few times. There is always someone knowledgeable around if I have questions. Today I came in to get plant spray for our new mini-garden. I couldn't find it inside and so I walked out into the patio. Two workers were busy doing something, but I needed to find it and get out of there. Ran into Sara and Brenden (spelling?). Asked both of them what they recommended. Both went out of their way real quick to walk me to where it was at and give me a suggestion on what brand worked best. BOTH were really nice and helpful, but especially Sara! Then I needed something in the paint department and ran into "Thalia" I think her name was. Anyways she was really helpful also. No reason for a lot of these negative reviews. I normally give either 5 stars OR 1 star and not a lot in between. But today your team went out of their way to help me, so the least I can do is a nice review. Have you ever heard of a Fiddle Leaf Fig? They are so beautiful. I was so happy to find some at this Home Depot. Kala was a great help. My husband has a green thumb, so I'm most excited to see what HE will do with these plants once he gets back home. I purchase them and he plants them. Great team work. These plants can be both indoors and outdoors. I love a plant that can grow to touch the ceiling. Their small now, but in a year I'm hoping they reach the ceiling. Wish us luck!!! read more

We went to the Fields Ertel Rd., Home Depot, and found they were not in stock of some of the wood we needed. When we came to the West Chester Home Depot, they said we had to cut our own wood. I find that odd, in that we would have to get the code to use their saw. If we had to cut it on our own, why would we come to Home Depot. If I could give 0, I would give zero. Negative points would match the service better. The guy eventually cut our wood after we asked twice. read more

Have been to this location a few times. You kind of forget it's there because it's not on the main drag. It's like most Home Depots in that it has a huge inventory of almost everything you might need for a home project. It is a DIYer's dream. read more

This review ins't for the store itself. We go to the store all the time and we don't have a problem. This post is for the flooring department. We recently had flooring installed through The Home Depot. We decided to use Home Depot because the sales guy told us that The Home Depot using only Home Depot staff to install the floors which we thought was really nice. What he failed to mention is that they use a Home Depot person to take measurements and thats it. He also told us we would get 48 month 0% financing but when we got our bill it was 6 months. He seemed to lie a lot about certain things that made us want to go to Home Depot when really we could have gone somewhere else. The guy who installed out hardwood floors was great. We really liked him. He was a hard worker and did the job he was supposed to do and did a great job doing it. The guys who installed our carpet were awful. They smelled of cigarettes, they were dirty and they werent professional at all. The worst part was that they covered up one of the vents and then hid the vent cover so we wouldn't notice. We only figured it out once they left. we were about to go get a new vent cover (we had to cut out the hole for the vent ourselves) but found the vent cover hidden int he closet in one of our bags. So they knew what they were doing but didnt want to correct their mistakes. Horrible! I don't think we will go back to Home Depot for any home renovation work. Our flooring turned out beautiful but the lies and the carpet people just put it out of the running for the future. read more

One of the worse stores to deal with in getting things done correctly! Bought stackable washer and dryer... it was to be STACKABLE! Said it maybe 5 times... delivery came of course night before got rid of old one cleaned area for new one.. delivery came the day they said! However they can't deliver no connection kit to stack! The sales person never put on order. Guys left with washer and dryer! Thing is I also bought house of appliances refrigerator,stove, dishwasher, microwave. Almost after a day on phone with them pushing me around feel like saying just pick up all stuff. Refund me a hate being treated like my service with you doesn't matter.. Strangely enough, living in Mason for a few years, I had never come to this Home Depot location. I came recently because a neighbor recommended some solar post cap lights to me that he had obtained at Home Depot. The only location in greater Cincy that had them in stock was this one, so I made the drive up. I initially placed an order online for drive up contactless pickup. Four hours later and they still were not ready so I decided to just stop in and try to grab them myself. I was really impressed with the precautions they were taking compared to Lowes. They had a dedicated cart cleaner and customer "counter" outfront to keep crowds down. They are only allowing entrance on one side. You are asked to wear a mask. Inside on this particular day it was a little bit of a mess, as it seemed they had received a bunch of shipments. Almost every aisle had pallets waiting to be unpacked, which was a bit offputting and hard to navigate with a cart. I was able to grab what I came for and check out relatively quickly. I cancelled my online order since I took care of it myself. They did have nice dedicated parking marked in the lot for pickup though. read more

I will never shop here again or Home Depot in general. Long story short, I had spend thousands of dollars on custom cabinets and over half cane damaged. Okay I get it things happen, but the customer service after was 100% what did me in. I did not get any help at all to get replacements, every Time I tried to call no one would answer or call me back. I had no trouble getting ahold of the distributor but for some reason they had an issue every Time they called. Then 13 weeks later half my cabinets are still damaged but I was not going to go through what I had to again. They also between Home Depot and the distributor only refunded me $300 altogether which doesn't even cover the cost of one of my cabinets. It's a shame so from now on I will only be shopping at Lowe's or menards. I get things happen and I am patient but to flat out not answer me or help me is ridiculous. read more

The staff are mostly friendly, unless you need something cut. Then they look at you like you've got two heads. We've always had really good service from folks in the paint dept. The restocking schedule is kind of odd. They'll run out of consumable things like dremmel cut off disks. For the most part this is a pretty standard Home Depot and we've been coming back for a decade and a half. read more

Worst experience ever. I ordered a new washer and dryer. Upon delivery the delivery driver broke my current washer which I had already sold and he didn't disclose he had broken the machine. I called and spoke to an assistant manager and he promised to fix it. A week and two more phone calls to managers no one called me back. So I ended up having to put them on the curb. read more

This is a Home Depot. No matter where you go, Home Depot's usually stay about the same. So, for that matter, it's a great place to go when you need stuff that you would go to Home Depot for. So now you're thinking, "hey, Jason H? Why only three stars?" Well, also like almost every other Home Depot on the planet, you'll find that you have the worst time trying to find somebody to assist you. You will see them, periodically, in their orange smocks. But typically you see them from a distance. You're standing next to the weed and insect killers and they're standing next to the bin of sheet rock remnants. Usually in clusters. Clusters of two to four. All talking to each other. Oblivious to any customers around them. And, you find that they're so far away that you feel that by the time you got down there to get their attention, they would have already moved on. Likely, to go take their 15 minute break in back. So, you search the aisles around you. And after 10 minutes of searching you find that there is no one there. By that time, you decide just to go back to the original cluster of four only to find they are now gone. You get down to the other end of the store and you look around for the original four, and they're nowhere to be found. Then as you turn around you see a completely different cluster of three. Standing, sadly, next to the weed and insect killers. Wood I go back? (See how I did that?) Yes, I would go back. It's Home Depot. You always go there twice whenever you need something. read more

Buy your lawn mowers elsewhere. The return policy at Home Depot is inadequate and other box retailers offer much better. Don't get stuck with a faulty mower that's been in and out of repair multiple times in its first year of service like I did. read more

Customer service is usually pretty good. I got a lot of help today from people on the floor. When I went to cash out at the returns/service counter, I stood in line until a couple employees stopped talking and noticed me. After paying, the employee went back to talking before giving me my receipt. Pulled my own receipt from printer and said thank you, no response. As a customer, with many other options for hardware supplies, I would think that Home Depot would want to employ employees that actually care. read more

The issue is the lack of support during the pandemic. While Home Depot offers curbside pickup, they do not offer a no contact return. When I called the store, I was told that not only is there not a "no contact" return policy, but the return policy has been reduced back to standard returns. I told the store manager that I could not come in to the store due to having too many medical issues that make me extremely high risk due to Covid, and all I was looking did was an extended return, to give more time for the pandemic to get under control and allow for someone in my situation to the make the return. The response from the store manager, was that people come in the store every day, so therefore there was no need to address health limitations due to the pandemic and there would be no support for me or someone in my situation die to the pandemic. Not sure why Home Depot doesn't feel it is appropriate and necessary to support all their customers especially with what is going on today, but I would think twice before at least shopping at this store. read more

I bought all new kitchen appliances in Sept/Oct 2016 and it has taken 5 visits for them to get everything working properly. What a nightmare! So I missed 3 mornings of work, and 2 whole Saturdays waiting for them to show up. And now, the LG rebate I sent in has been rejected because the serial number on one of the appliances has already been used!! Are you serious?!! I was going to get new flooring installed but will definitely not be using this store for any more home improvement purchases. read more

We purchased a refrigerator in February and scheduled the delivery for March. Everything went well with the delivery time and the setup. Later that day my wife noticed that the French doors weren't flush so we called the number provided to us from the delivery people. I called and explained the problem and they scheduled someone to come out to evaluate in a couple of days. The repair techs arrived two days after the deliver, and after they attempted to adjust the doors, he determined that it was a defect and advised me to call Home Depot. When I spoke to the HD representative, I was told that there was nothing he could do because 48 hours had passed since delivery and that I had to contact fridgidaire. What horrible customer service. I contacted them the same day, but they couldn't send anyone out until three days later. Dealing with fridgidaire to have it replaced was the worst experience ever. I finally got a replacement in July. Needless to say, neither I nor my company will shop at HD anywhere in this country again. read more

I had the worst experience at this store. Upon purchasing my home, I went to this store many times to buy a lot of items. I had several installations done from this store and with the last mistake they made, I decided not to ever deal with this store again. The fact the matter is mistake can happen sometimes, and I understand that. But it's not just the mistake that got me indignant. It's the attitude and the aftermath. They were extremely rude and continued to make more mistake so I ended having to call again to remind them about scheduling an order that came back defective. What's worse is being inconsistent with their words. The person who had processed an order promised to provide credit for their mistake but later on another person said he/she will NOT provide any credit whatsoever. It's very obvious that they really do not value customers' experience and it's almost like take it or leave it attitude. Ultimately, I decided to let it go because it wasn't worth my time and energy. I could only hope that they realize one day that if they continue to treat customers this way, it's only going to affect their business in the long run. They just care about short term profit by doing whatever it takes to not compensate a customer who had the bad experience, but in the end, you are losing a potential loyal customer. It's not just about credit or money but customers want to feel like you value and care about our experience. Unfortunately, the message was loud and clear that this store didn't care. read more
