The ham is always excellent. The store was laid out so you could find everything. The service leaves something to be desired. I had a problem and kept going round and round with the two young girls who gave me my order. They were going to get the manager but never did. I finally gave up and took my order and left. The service is pleasant and cordial. The restaurant is clean and quiet enough to have a conversation. The sandwiches, unfortunately, are made from ham scraps and ends. Haven't been to a honey baked ham in like...forever. Today husb and I were out and abt and stopped in to see if they still had box lunches. They have expanded their menu, we both had the honey baked ham sandwich on ciabatta which was really nice and soft, came with a choice of chips and drink. Really nice and fresh, the tomatoes were pretty and lettuce too. Yummy!! Their tea was nice and fresh as well! Definitely will come back. Rude , condescending , nasty person at the register . website says open for lunch and we were going to get a ham . We walk in and I ask about lunch and the nasty person says to me Cant you read the sign in a very sharp angry tone . Apparently they stopped making sandwiches on 12-17 ... So I said well then I'll take my business elsewhere. The person proceeded to be nasty to us as we walked out . I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH AN EXPERIENCE AT A VERY WELL KNOWN PLACE . I ordered a ham for Easter & picked it up on Wednesday the 27th. When the associate brought out an 8 pound half ham, I asked to see it as I've always done in the past. She said they're not allowed to open them. So I paid $86 for a ham which was far from acceptable. It will be the very last time that I order from Honey Baked Ham. I had one of the Honey Baked hams about 5-6 years ago, and I found the ham was pretty good. I thought the price was high, but at least it was good. My next ham was about 2 years ago: not that great, a little dry. This year, I reserved my ham in plenty of time for Easter. Whole, boneless, sliced ham priced over $90.00. I picked up the day before my reserved day/time because I was hosting a large crowd and wanted to be sure I wasn't subjected to any kind of a shortage. My wife had to visit another store in the plaza, so I stopped in for lunch, and was I glad I did. I had Roast Beef & Cheddar on a croissant. The service was very fast and I had my sandwich in a very short time. It was wonderful. Everything was very fresh and tasted great. The place is kind of hidden being tucked into the back corner of the plaza, but if you're able to find it, I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I did. read more
