When this fact was presented to the "gentleman" taking the money he became hostile saying that you can not expect a clean car for the basic car wash proceedure. I insisted this was the wrong attitude to present and the car wash should provide a complete outside wash for that kind of money. I will try once more to see what the wash is like and to make sure the WHOLE car top to bottom outside gets clean and dry. If not, I will NOT be back and will advertise to my associates who visit there to make sure they get decent basic wash job, on the complete outside of the car. My rating based on attitude of the contact person and previous jobs is a D-MINUS

From what I can tell, he mainly runs the place himself and it's a passion of his. He posts updates on FB when he's got fresh fish for fish n' chips. We'll definitely be back!

We ate here last night as a party of 8. The waiter was super slow. All 8 of our dinners were cool or downright cold. This includes cold fries. Who enjoys a cool burger? Both my kids ordered burgers, but neither cold finish their burgers due to them being super pink in the middle. My daughters was so pink it actually looked raw. My husband's burger was also too rare. Two people in our party were sharing their entrees and asked for an extra plate, but the waiter never brought it. We asked for a round of waters for the table...it took 15 minutes and then the waiter spilled a glass of water down our friend's back. He said he would bring napkins to help him dry up, but he never did. When my kids told him their burgers were not cooked, he just said sorry. At this point my kids didn't want another burger. This new restaurant needs better training for chefs and waiters. read more

The crab legs were listed in the starters section of the menu and were served as such. No sides like an entreé. They were cooked just right meaning when you went to crack open a leg it still snapped, it wasn't rubbery. Meat inside came right out and, was juicy and not dry. Next came the little neck clams. Sold by the dozen and, we ordered 3 dozen for our table of 4. Clams were fine and steamed just right. The cup of butter sauce was good. It had garlic and a hint of lemon. The service at Wolfe's has always been friendly and the food is served quickly and in generous portions. And you certainly cannot beat the cabin-feel atmosphere! However, the menu lists breakfast entrees come with a side of toast. I ordered the eggs benedict and asked for wheat toast on side. On our bill I was charged $1.99 for the toast as "a side." When I pointed out to the waitress that breakfast entrees come with toast, according to the menu, she argued that since there is an English muffin in the entree, so it's not included. Call me petty, but either the menu is incorrect or one of us is not reading carefully. The $1.99 charge stayed (I didn't even bring up the terrible home fries!). Not sure when or why the change at Wolfe's. We used to really love this place, and have been coming for years. But after 2 bad experiences in 2 weeks, we will explore the many other diner options in the Alex Bay area.
