The staff is friendly and welcoming, and our waitress, Abby, was awesome. She provided great service and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fresh, delicious, and consistently good. Both were outstanding. The flavors were on point and a great way to kick off the meal. I ordered the BBQ glazed chicken for my entrée, and it did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The atmosphere hits a really nice balance. It feels slightly upscale and polished, but still comfortable and down to earth. Ultimately, the first point works in your favor, cuz with a little forethought, a small cooler and your favorite beverage, you will likely save you and yours at least $10. As for the second premise, our suggestion is to ask for timeframes early and often...then get comfy and DOUBLE those estimates. For the first visit I was happy to see what looked like a pile of freshly fried wings come out through the kitchen window, and in kind ordered us only wings and drinks. They were hot and tasty, but still took 15 mins. The second visit was just for the fish and I watched them dredge and fry it. Turnaround time, just under 15 mins. Neither scenario was during peak lunch or dinner rush (2 & 3 pm timeframes) but in both cases the lot was fairly full and there were ~10-12 patrons, mostly waiting. Like everything in BloNo, I'll wait for things to die down a bit before trying what looks like a way more sizeable menu (Italian beef's?) than I anticipated.
