    OG Sando and truffle fries
    Faith E.

We came here for fish on a Saturday and they said they sold out Friday which is ok. The person at the door that takes your order and gives you your table number was very friendly and helpful. Daughter got a burger and fries and bf and I got the OG sandwiches, hot and medium respectively and we split a truffle fry. It's a cool little place with a good selection of top shelf bourbon, but unfortunately I don't get the hype about the food. The chicken was tough, literally had pieces as tough as cardboard I could barely chew. The first 3 or 4 bites of my sandwich were just breading. I didn't think the spice level was even as hot as Franks which I would consider mild and bf said his was barely spicy either. The fries weren't very good, not very crispy mostly limp. My daughter said the burger was good. I may go back and try something else because I really want to like it but it won't be any time soon.

Pop Up Chicken has the best chicken in town and surrounding areas. The food is always delicious- a few our our faves are OG Sando, Bbbb Sando, Buffalo chicken Philly, and the burgers. The owner is a stand up guy who stands behind his business and people.

Returned from BloNo today after another fantastic visit where I tried a double smash burger with cheddar and bacon, it was amazing! The service was on point and friendly. Also got to try the cornbread today. I wish we had a location up north, but for now I'll just have to make it my go to stop when I visit. Keep up the great work!

Stopped by after a baseball game. The place is super clean and has such a cool vibe. You order and pay first, then grab a seat easy peasy. They've got a bar, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful.I gotta tell you about the food though it was amazing. The chocolate shake was thick and creamy, and their sweet tea was perfectly refreshing. My kid loved their OG sandwich although he went plain, and that jalapeno cornbread? Seriously addictive! I wish I lived closer so I could have a piece every week. The dill fries were crispy and delicious, especially with their dipping sauce. We also tried the Illinois hot chicken horseshoe it was a messy masterpiece, but so worth it with all that sauce mixing together. The chicken wings were fantastic, but next time I'm ordering mild ones for the little guys.

Amazing food! Super clean. Staff was so friendly and helpful! So glad that we found it!

Decent Nashville Chicken but they need to change the fry oil and freshen it up. I got the quarter dark chicken and it was fine. The Cider Vinegar Slaw was alright. The fries were pretty neat and cut in wide wavy shapes. The ranch was good. The Pop-up Sauce was like a Cajun mayo, pretty good. They have a large selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. If you don't want to wait and order at the front counter, then just go sit at the bar. Nice modern pub ambience.

I visited my Redbird on Sunday. He loves hot wings so we came here. When you walk in, you place and pay for your order and then given a number to take a seat. Your food is delivered to your table and the softdrinks are self serve. There is a full bar and tvs if you want to watch a game while there. Parking is plentiful. The staff is nice. I didn't care for the chicken, but my son loved it. I opted to have mild sauce on the side. My son got medium sauce. We both had an order od fries that despite claiming to be dill flavored, were nothing special. The sauce served with the fries didn't have a distinct taste. I wouldn't choose this place again but if you're not too particular about your chicken, it's ok.

When you order a slider, don't think you're getting some tiny sandwich--this thing is full-size and loaded. The kale slaw adds the perfect amount of flavor and crunch, especially when paired with Dave's sauce... such a good combo. The fries are also fantastic--almost perfect. I personally like mine just a little crispier, but the seasoning on them is so good it doesn't exactly matter lol And yes... we're talking about the pickles too. Perfect pickles. They add that extra bite and flavor that pushes the sandwich right over the edge to perfection. Oh and I almost forgot to mention my son wanted to try the macaroni and cheese so bad that he went up there and ordered a side of it, we all shared it. It was good, the noodles tasted just a little bit well done, and it smelled like velveeta. This place definitely gets crowded, but for good reason--it's a hot, popular spot and people know their chicken is fresh and amazing. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and I absolutely love the graffiti artwork on the walls. The bright, bold colors are so inviting, it almost makes you want to come inside before you even smell the food. If you haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor and get over here and check it out. It's great!

I noticed there was a lot of people that were happy and enjoying their dinner. There's not a lot of seating inside, I've definitely seen pictures of bigger Canes restaurants but it seems like it could be enough if people are in and out when they're finished eating. We didn't have to wait very long for our food and it was all fresh and hot! I enjoy the flavor of the chicken and also the cane sauce. The fries are okay but it'd be nice to try out some seasoning on them I'm not sure if this restaurant offers something like that. We've generally (and somewhat surprisingly) been big fans of the chain, in fact I've been to the original site, off campus at Duke! But we are rarely there on a prime Saturday night...and we won't likely ever be back during rush hour there again. The problem is that when the kitchen falls behind, the service delivery machine that sits behind it is not equipped, nor empowered to fix things. It will make you remember all the reasons why these chain restaurants irritate some and drive others crazy. In our case, our food took twice the time it normally does, and then was delivered lukewarm at best, then redelivered without half the platter, meaning an out of process trip BACK to the kitchen and more time were needed. Then to top all off...when we inquired if there were any extenuating circumstances, we were told that they were just experiencing the normal Sat night dinner rush in the kitchen, ultimately offering no other explanation or contrition. Altho hungry, we weren't in any particular hurry, how about a small discount, or even just a beer to buy some additional patience. I appreciate a well run business as much as the next guy, but first of all, if the same thing happens every Saturday night, maybe the work schedules need to be tweaked. Then, when things DO break down, you are ultimately only as good as your front of house people and their ability to explain (or mask) the problems and keep customers happy. It's pretty clear the servers/bartenders at BWW have no interest or incentive to do so. We've now lost interest too.

As a private business, McKay's is free to enforce whatever rules it wants. However, in addition to being forced to leave, the way the manager handled the situation was unnecessarily aggressive and belittling. She could have quietly come to our table and explained the policy, but instead chose to yell at us from across the bar.
