Service was spot on, especially since we had a group of 9. Indoor stage for nighttime entertainment purposes and an additional huge outdoor seating / dining area with associated stage for those nice desert days. There's plenty of street parking on Center St and there's also a small parking lot across the street. This used to be a YMCA but it looks like an old church with dark wood flooring, high ceilings and stained glass windows. A very cool venue. How did it sound? Loud. Extremely loud. They also had a huge video board which gave each band a little extra hot sauce. There were a couple of bars in the back and you could also order food. It's air conditioned in there but between the heat (100+ outside at the time) and the amount of bodies inside, it was at least bearable. Mosh for Youth was great as always and while I loved the DIY ethos in the past this felt like a leap forward. The sound, look and venue made this feel big time. I hope future MFY shows take place here...until they maybe outgrow this place too, which would mean more scholarships for the kids. Highly recommended!

By far one of the best and most comfortable places to be. Among all the other bars in Apple Valley, these owners know how to run a business. The ones whom find things unfair are the ones who have a guilty mind set. I have been going here for over 7 years and have had met so many wonderful people. I could not ask for a better place to call home away from home. Prices are wonderful, they always have great bands and the bartenders are by far the best and most respectful to there customers as well as classy. I have been a Frogee's customer for years. It is one of the last standing bars that supports the local music scene. Their prices are very reasonable. The place is always clean (clean bathrooms especially) and the bartenders are always very friendly. They also have karaoke twice a week. Honestly, I can say Frogee's is a real friendly place, I would not mind going there as a woman, just by myself. Tracey or Lacey whatever that girls name is, I have been in there 3 times thinking maybe I was wrong but I will not go in on an off night EVER AGAIN! She only caters to her friends and from what I see she does not even charge them a lot of the time. She has a huge attitude problem!!!!!! First, I must say I Love this Bar! So many great people and such loving personalities. However, after last night I will not be back on a Sunday, Monday or what ever days this new girl is working. The new girl hired is not what Frogies is about. Frogies is about honesty,compassion, fun and she does not have it. Beware, she will over charge you on your card and pocket the tips. My favorite place! Frogee's has the nicest, friendliest owners, bartenders and staff. They have very fun events like contests, live bands, karaoke, dancing. They also have great food and drink specials and are always mixing it up to keep things fun. It is a home away from home and highly recommend it to anyone! read more
