This place used to be one of our favorite stops on the way to or from Glaicer National Park. Their huckleberry pie and coffee is good. Unfortunately one of the young female staff members was not so friendly on our last visit. Not sure if she was just having a bad day or generally had a bad attitude. She made us feel not welcome in the store and this is why. 1. We ordered coffees and when she brang them I asked if i could use the wifi and she told me it wasn't working. But another employee happily told me it was working fine and gave me the password. 2. We ordered some pie and she asked if it was for here or to go. I answered for here and she then gave it to me in a take out container. So i asked another employee if i could get it for here and he gladly put it on a plate for me. 3. When i asked if they offer coffee refills she looked at me blankly and another employee turned and said yes we do and refilled my coffee. Huckleberry Patch is a large establishment serving food, dessert, and has an adjoining store selling all things huckleberry merch and other canned items. In our two day stay in the area, we came to huckleberry patch twice. The first time we ordered a huckleberry shake and a slice of huckleberry pie. If you like your pie warm, asked for it dine in and they'll heat it up for you, we ordered it to go and it came in a plastic container. The shake was very yummy (can't go wrong w a shake), but not much huckleberry flavor even though it had huckleberries inside of it. On our second visit, we decided to order ice cream, huckleberry of course, and party animal (cotton candy flavor ice cream w animal crackers). We were impressed by the sheer size of the scoops- pretty sure it was at least a pint of ice cream balancing on the cone. Great taste and value for what it is! Of the flavors, party animal was superior. Not quite sure what the hype for huckleberries is but it was a nice experience. read more

During our stay in the Glacier National park area, we tried 4 different huckleberry milkshakes. For me this place made the best one! It was so smooth and strong huckleberry flavor, which was so new to me and very easy to drink up! They also got some snacks, ice cream and other local souvenir goods. I thought this place was excellent as a gift shop as well compared to other ones in the park. I would recommend here to "Glacier newbies" like me to visit at least once during the stay! read more

We stopped here for a late lunch and I wish I had just kept going. There were only a few folks ahead of us when we arrived, but there was a huge line when we left. There were plenty of open tables, although finding a clean one was difficult. I spent over an hour here, but did not see one table get cleared or wiped down during that time. They were out of many items so I ordered a burger and fries. After a 30-minute wait both arrived ice-cold. read more

Huckelberries are a staple in the region. Wild huckleberries go for like $100 per gallon and this is the place for all your huckleberry souvenirs and pie. Although you may be stick at slices only and may not be able to purchase whole pies. When I came here, I got a Huckleberry slice with ice cream to go. Overall, this is definitely a nice place to go for Huckleberry related items. I really was not a fan of their pricing structure, but the product was good. 1 Huckleberry Pie Slice = 4.95 1 Huckleberry Pie Slice with a scoop of ice cream = 5.95 1 slice with two scoops = 5.95 + 2.95 = $8+ If they charge an additional $1 for a scoop added, why $4 for two scoops added? It just doesn't make much sense makes you feel ripped off. Despite that, the pie was good and the ice cream was tasty as well. I'd recommend the place if you're looking for souvenirs or overall looking for some huckleberry goodness. read more

Nice place to stop at after a long days hike in Glacier NP. Their huckleberry pie is pretty good, but expensive for the amount they give you. They also have ice cream, but I didn't get a chance to try it. They also have a pretty big store front to purchase souvenirs and a good variety of huckleberry items. There's another Huckleberry store just down the road. Can't really say if that is better than this one, but it didn't higher marks than this place. read more

My fiancé and I kept seeing signs for this place while driving to and from Glacier NP. On our last day of our trip, we finally decided to stop in especially since we've never had huckleberry before. Not only is it a gift shop where they sell tons of huckleberry products and other souvenirs but they also have a restaurant. We didn't buy any souvenirs but we did get a single scoop of huckleberry ice cream and an iced sun tea to go, which were pretty good. The huckleberry ice cream wasn't too sweet. Both treats were very refreshing after a long day of hiking at Glacier NP. The staff who helped us were very friendly and greeted us when we walked in. This is a cute and fun place to check out. The next time we come back to visit Glacier NP, we will be sure to stop by this place again. read more

They were practicing COVID-19 protocols in all aspects of their service routine. Naturally we ordered Huckleberry shakes to go with the BLT and Logan Pass Club sandwiches. Let me just say, customer service is alive and well! I reached out to these folks on a specific mug that was purchased recently by my daughter in law and unfortunately broke upon retuning back home. Outstanding huckleberry pie. That's why we went and that's what we got. Hot food menu was limited to burgers but we didn't try them. Ordering is an inside walk up register. Service was friendly and quick. There is also a good selection of ice cream for cones and related items. You receive your purchase at the counter and select any open table then bus the tray yourself. We went in there for a quick lunch. 1.5 hours later we got our food! It was the first day they were open of the season and everyone, including the kitchen help, were brand new. They couldn't figure out the registers, didn't know how to make Huckleberry iced tea (it was plain iced tea), and our order sat at the pick up counter until it got cold because the cashier put the wrong order # in the register. Several people waiting for their food got refunds. Hope they work out the kinks soon or it's going to be a long summer! read more

What a joke! We stopped in on our way to Glacier Park to get this "famous" huckleberry pie and they were out of it! We stopped back by on our way out of town and they STILL didn't have any pie. They did offer a litany of excuses, however. There was only about 50 signs bragging up their pie, but I was still gobsmacked they could run out of it so often. I asked and they said it wasn't frozen they made it fresh, so I asked about the ingredients and apparently it's not even made with real butter and cane sugar! The crust has CRISCO (hydrogenated vegetable oil, very bad) in it, and the filling is made with sugar from Amalgamated Sugar Company, meaning it is BEET SUGAR extracted with HARSH chemicals in a disgusting part of "Boise" (read: Nampa), Idaho! They offered to sell me a jar of their pie filling which they claimed was exactly the same was what they put in their pie, and I was shocked to read on the label there was cinnamon in it. Now, I LOVE cinnamon, but cinnamon in a BERRY pie??? Like how high are these guys? I know there is a marijuana shop across the street, so maybe pretty high. Ginger, maybe, vanilla, yes, but cinnamon? I guess we weren't missing out on much. We were hungry though so we ordered some philly sandwiches and those were very good. No beer/wine, though. And the tables and pretty much everything was really sticky (probably covered in a fine layer of ice cream), and the overall decor was very dated but not dated enough to be kitch. On our way out I mentioned I was really bummed we didn't get to try any authentic huckleberry stuff, so the girl at the counter recommended we get a shake to go. I asked what sort of ice cream they were serving (I was hoping it was that delightful Sweet Peaks we've had in Whitefish), and she said it was Blue Bunny. Blue Bunny, yea no thanks, I didn't drive across the country to eat corn syrup ice cream I could have gotten at home. Pretty pathetic. If you head into Kalispell from the west side of the national park, you'll pass this cute place on highway 2 and it's worth a stop. My friend and I were curious to try huckleberries. The Huckleberry Patch is half gift shop and half restaurant. The shop sells all kinds of huckleberry products like jam, pie filling, candles, lotions, chocolate, tea, lip balm. Perfect for gifts to bring back home. They also sell other typical souvenir things like shirts and magnets and stuffed mountain goats and all kinds of bear products. Unfortunately, none of the huckleberry jams came in a mini size of 3 oz - the smallest they had was 4 oz which would've required me to check in my bag at the airport. When I asked the lady at the store if they had anything smaller, she said they didn't but that the could ship anything including their pies! We didn't eat at the restaurant - they close at 7p and they were starting to shut down for the night. I asked to sample the huckleberry ice cream. There are pictures of the huckleberry and it looks like a blueberry. The lady behind the counter said it was smaller than blueberries and let me sample some of the pie too! I ended up getting the huckleberry ice cream on a sugar cone and the lady gave me a generous portion! Really nice people work here (and they all wear lavender shirts). The ice cream is yummy. Fantastic place with great food, dessert and gift shop! This place exceeded our expectations. After a long day hiking and exploring Glacier National Park we stoped to grab a bite. The hamburgers with Huckleberry BBQ sauce were excellent! Then came dessert. Yes, if you're in town you need to stop by and try their huckleberry pie with huckleberry ice cream for roughly $6. It's truly excellent! We watched as the line increases and decreased throughout the hour but it's always steady. We then spent some time in the gift shop.
