    Glacier Dip with side salad

We had stopped here the day before after hiking for shakes and thought the menu looked good, so we stopped the next day for a late lunch. Like so many other places in the area you order from a counter and then sit and wait to pick up your food. Our group had a cheeseburger, BLT, kids cheese quesadilla and the Glacier Dip. The BLT and Glacier Dip were awesome. The kids said their cheeseburger and quesadilla were ok. Of course we had shakes again too. The shakes were perfection! Prices were good for the food, I think the drinks (iced tea, lemonade and a soda) were expensive at $4 each. I don't think they offered refills either? As is always the case at these types of places I am never sure if we are meant to bus our own tables or not? Anyways I would definitely recommend a stop here!

We stopped for a bite to eat on the way back from GNP. It is quite a busy tourist stop with an attached gift shop which is nicely appointed. Plenty of food gifts and other souvenirs to choose from. This is a stand in line and order type restaurant. We walked in, grabbed menus and ordered our food. The long line went quickly which was nice. You take a number to a table and wait for the number to be called. They do not bring out your food, you grab it from the counter. I ordered the original classic cheeseburger with onion rings. They have a separate spot to grab condiments and toppings for the burgers and sandwiches. Overall my cheeseburger was tasty. They don't cook to order which is disappointing as I would have preferred a medium burger but it did not taste overdone. The onion rings were crispy and well seasoned. We ordered the slice of huckleberry pie to share. It was super sweet, delicious. The crust was more moist than flaky but overall pretty tasty. The restaurant was clean and staff seemed efficient. The restrooms were located in the back of the gift shop and were clean. I thought it was a good spot to stop after visiting the park.

    Huckleberry puff! So flaky.

Excellent stopover for gifts, food and bathroom break! The service is quick and efficient-- friendly staff despite how busy & long lines! Comfortable and vibrant stopover. Get huckleberry puffs and turnovers! Mmmmm! Also the waffle mix with the jam included is good buy.

As a child I loved picking wild huckleberries with my mom. She would make the most amazing pie with our day's pickings. They are no longer available in Florida, so finding The Huckleberry Patch was a dream come true. We bought a whole pie to take to our rental, and oh my goodness. It is delicious. The crust doesn't match our family recipe, but the huckleberries are the star! Yum

Went here to eat for the first time and it was soooo good! We had the huckleberry monte cristo, huckleberry lemonade and huckleberry pie and ice cream. I would order them again bc they were so good! Pie was filled with lots of huckleberries And came with huckleberry ice cream. So good. The lemonade was good too and had real huckleberries. The sandwich was delicious! And came with huckleberry jam to dip it in. People were friendly here too. Also the bathrooms are pretty cool. Lol they have red and green lights to tell you what's available. Super cute store too with everything Montana and glacier. Can't wait to come back! And the sign said they're open all year :)

This place serves good food especially the buffalo burger! Yum! Upon entrance of the Grill spot there's a sign to take a menu & find an available seat which proves to be a little confusing for some, but you eventually just figure it out....sit where there is no table top sign! Once we figured that out we viewed the menu & ordered at the counter. They have: burger, fries, fried picked, grilled cheese etc. The wait was about 15 minutes, food comes in baskets and a condiment bar is located in the main restaurant area. Seating is in two separate rooms high top bar seating, booths and table/ chairs close to ordering area. It's fairly big inside. Ordered: Bacon blue burger (bison addition), Patch's special w/ fries, fried pickles, kids burger and grilled cheese. All the employees were working really hard and wiping down tables-it was busy tourist season. Afterwards we tried the dessert area and ordered Huckleberry everything! Huckleberry was very good, ordered their shake, pie a'la mode and ice cream. Great spot to visit after visiting Glacier National Park. Don't forget to stop by the other side of the Patch to purchase souvenirs.

We were looking for food after a morning of hiking in Glacier National Park, and this place hit the spot! We were drawn in by the fact that it's been there since 1949, thinking that it must be good to have lasted that long. When you walk in, it's a really large store-think a souvenir shop mixed with the Cracker Barrel store. The restaurant is kind of small and gets busy, so be warned. I wanted to get something huckleberry since it's the thing in Montana, so I got the Original Classic burger. The huckleberry bbq sauce was so good! I can definitely see why it's so popular. I would highly recommend it for the true Glacier experience!

Planning to visit glacier, this place is a must visit and enjoy their variety of huckleberry food. Ordered huck milkshakes beginning of our hike to hidden lake. On our way back to cabin we had huck pie, onion rings, fries and ice cream. They also have a huge store for gifts and huck jams, pie filling and honey. Staff is very welcoming. We enjoyed having delicious food from this place.

    * huckleberry milkshake 3/5 * huckleberry pie 2.5/5 The huckleberry milkshake was only so-so. Not much huckleberry flavor or excitement about it. The huckleberry pie had great filling, but the bread or the crust was not very good. Not sweet enough.

Spacious counter serve restaurant with a gift shop attached. Generally average experience and hands off staff Would totally order these two items again - Huckleberry Shake (very creamy) - Fried Garlic Cheese Curds (very flavorful and crisp) And the sweet potato fries were the best side. Else the burgers were a bit dry and the regular "seasoned fries" were soft and not very flavorful despite the name. The portion size to price was decent value for the area. The huckleberry pie was mid, mostly too sweet and not much of a berry flavor. Crust was gummy in some areas and didn't have toasted caramelization. Huckleberry ice cream was fine. Skip getting pie here and just get the shake.

Although a tourist destination...this place was fun to shop at. Bought a few sweatshirts, some huckleberry jam, and had a nice lunch.

Food was good too! I got a Stumptown Omelette, my husband got a burrito. Hash browns with it were very plain. We missed out on the pies but I hear they're great. Service 3/5: The older woman serving us was not in a great mood which was evident because she gave a younger guy working an attitude about the location of something in the cafe right in front of us. She put in my husband's order completely wrong (egg Benedict instead of a burrito) , and originally our food came out together but we had to wait for his to be cooked which we don't care but having a toddler there always makes every second feel much longer, but it was SO fast to come out. Also they gave us an orange juice instead of the apple juice we requested. We lived with it, my toddler doesnt have meltdowns over that yet. Ambiance: simple cafe. Don't think it's handicap accessible. There are stairs to get down when you walk in the door. We left our stroller in the car. Overall we heard such amazing great things but it was relatively average for our experience! Maybe just the Sunday rainy morning we went. But for a $50-60 breakfast for 2.5 people we will not return during our trip.
