I love the human bean. This one specifically always has the happiest employees. It brings me joy to visit & converse with them. The coffee is delightful & the bean on top is such a treat. The drive thru is so quick and efficient. Today, i tried a pumpkin snowy and ohhh man. This is the drink of fall. The perfect balance of pumpkin & spices (cinnamon/nutmeg). I'll be back no less than 10 times to get this drink again!!

Getting my oil changed this morning and noticed there's a Human Bean right across the street. So walked up and I'm sitting down enjoying my chocolate chai latte while I watch them work on my car. Great friendly service and yummy chai! I like their alternative milk options, including organic coconut milk.

When my bf and I were visiting the area, we were so excited to come across The Human Bean! There is one in Reno, NV, where we're from, so a 'familiar face' was so great to see. This location has a double driveway but we opted to get out and walk up to the window to order. We were greeted by some really friendly staff! I ordered a white mocha with almond milk and my bf got his usual whole milk latte with some simple syrup. Both of our drinks were perfect! And we always love getting the chocolate-covered espresso bean on the lid! (I love that the cold drink lids do not need to come with straws.) I wanted to give a special thanks to the gals working that morning. Being that we were visiting the area, we asked for breakfast recommendations. We were given an awesome one and I was so glad that we stopped to ask and chat. 10/10 recommend

Service and coffee are both excellent. I went based on a Yelp search and was a bit surprised to find out seating is outside, on metal tables/seats with no shade.

I've been coming here constantly for two weeks now & I get the same thing. Caramel cold brew, lite cream, caramel cold foam on top, not hard right? It is NEVER made consistently. Today I received a cup of milk, no coffee with an inch of caramel sauce on the bottom. Last week I received a cup of milk basically no caramel or coffee. In the last two weeks my drink has NEVER been made consistently. I've had to drive back 4 times in two weeks to get the drinks made correctly or even somewhat tolerable. If I wanted milk in a cup with caramel I would have stayed home. Some baristas are friendly, some are not and you never know what you will get. Some have a lot of knowledge in getting the drink correct and some do not care. When you go to the window you are NEVER greeted, no good morning, how are you ... NOTHING. They look and act like they are all miserable which then makes me feel unwelcome. The location is convenient, but I won't be back again.

Thanks to Christina, she asks what im in the mood for and makes her recommendations- she is amazing and professional and friendly. So far the cold brew is my favorite but ill keep trying different things until ive had them all!

I skimmed through the other reviews and I'm shocked!! This is my personal go to spot. It's on the way to work and have yet to not impressed! I usually get the rockstar but if I'm in the mood for coffee I get the granita if I get chocolate I add a hint of Carmel or if I want more Carmel I switch it and get chocolate drizzle! There green tea is also great! And you can add flavors into any drink! I even have the app which rewards you each time you go there. Only downside I see the small addiction I have here. Lol. There is a Starbucks close by and I don't even waste the extra few minutes by going there. Customer service is always amazing! Each of them are happy and easy to talk too even when it pretty early in the morning!!

I visit this location often and year round. Their iced or hot coffees are always perfectly made. Smoothes are sooo good too. Service is top notch. Always a kind soul at the window. I've been there many times and have decided I'm done. I get a mocha blend with no whip and drizzle. They alway put so much chocolate on the bottom that it taste like I'm drinking pure Hershey chocolate from the container. Not a fan. Nit sure how to explain to them I don't need all that chocolate. The young women who work here are so helpful and super sweet. I was new to the area and new to this coffee shop and the baristas made an amazing recommendation to me. The drinks all come with a chocolate covered coffee bean on top of their drinks - such a cute detail to their offerings. And I was pleased with the prices as I am used to Starbucks menu - not being able to get 2 drinks for under $10. read more

Sent my daughter to buy 4 drinks. Thought we would try one last time as there's always drinks made incorrectly. Sure enough, they made a drink so wrong, we couldn't stomach it. I'm not sure how you mess up an Italian soda that only needs soda water and flavoring. We were lied to about the soda water being fresh first off. Then they said they didn't carry the syrup anymore. We pointed out the bottle behind them. Somehow they also added 4 tablespoons of cane sugar on top of that. We asked for a call back from the district manager, but it's been a few days with no response. So here's mine. STAY AWAY! You're drinks will not be consistently made and will taste different every time, and if you question it they are rude. The final straw was when my daughter asked repeatedly for straws for the drinks and the barista ignored her and walked away. read more

Diet-Dutch Bros. Well, not quite the same in terms of menu make-up. But the line moves just as slow. Especially when the staff is composed of ditzy dropouts from the nearest cosmetology school. If they ever took a moment away from flirting with Apache Junctions finest bachelors in their lifted-trucks, giggling and feeding 12 PupCups to the malnourished Pitbull in the backseat, maybe I could finally get to the window so they can f*ck up my order. read more

This place has potential, but as of now, it sucks. They have 2 drive thru's which you would think were there to make it fast, however they don't have any intercoms to take your order so you have to wait till you get to the window before you order... dumb . Then there the menu, it's more like a mix n match game. The menu is cut into an equal amount of boxes up and down just like an ice cream truck. One box will have a drink in it and the next box will be tell you about the health benefits of almond milk... dumb Fix those two things and this place could be much better. Until then, steer clear!! read more

I got tired of Starbuck lattes ordered with lite whip, and still you are given a cup that has 30% whip cream.. I tried the Human Bean two weeks ago. I am hooked. I now drive a little further past two SB for my lattes. Very good prices, excellent service, and chocolate coffee bean is a added treat. If one is nearby, give them a try. read more

I visited the Power Road location today and enjoyed a free birthday drink! I got to meet the lovely Grace who was very attentive and certainly made the wait for my drink enjoyable! Before Covid,I was a regular customer because I love that they offer so many varieties in sugar-free syrups and that they have more than soy or coconut milk as a dairy substitute. I always pay extra for macadamia milk which is rich and delicious and doesn't change the flavor of.your coffee or make it weak, wimpy and chalky. Most of their baristas are young and friendly college students. I reward them with a cash tip for their non bitter banter. The last time I drove through the Power Road store, the effervescent young guy wasn't wearing his mask properly. It didn't cover his nose and was under his chin. He was also not wearing gloves at the window where they pass a device out to customers to scan and pay. "Sometimes" it requires contact. I was told by phone prior to going there were masks and gloves. So,I passed on getting a coffee and have not been back. They added the annual Birthday drink discount to my app. So I will update my review if I decide to try and use it. Ok read more

I was really excited for this place to open, a change from the usual Starbucks. I've been 3 times plus today. The girls are always scattered and I have to retell them my order a few times before they get it. Today I ordered a 20 oz iced coffee with sugar free Carmel syrup and cream. I order this in a venti from starbucks and it's around 3 bucks. My total was 6.21 and my cup is all ice. Not happy read more

I am amazed at this little kiosk building that serves the best coffee I've tasted in a long time. I'm a Starbucks customer but lately my coffee taste burnt every time I get it. I decided to go to the Human Bean Try them out. I ordered the Granita hazelnut flavor. Delicious and they serve a little chocolate coffee bean with it which I find just added that extra touch that said we like you as a customer. The girls at the drive-through are always nice, polite and eager to please and make your coffee the way you want. I absolutely love this store if I could afford to go there every day several times a day I would I love it. Thank you the Human Bean for making great coffee and giving excellent service read more

I stopped by the human bean on my way home November 15, 2022 and asked the order taker for advice on a hot drink that was similar to pumpkin spice. Her enthusiasm was contagious and she made several good suggestions which I took one of them. When I got up to the window and paid the wait person was also Friendly and super nice. I was craving iced coffee and remembered driving by it sooooo many times so decided to go why not!? And wow it hit the spot!! Reminded me of a mom and pop cafe drive thru from back home!! The girls were super nice!! I ordered a cold brew with caramel syrup and they make it with half n half, just the way I like my drinks. Finally a coffee spot in east Mesa....I been here a couple times and and those few times they have never disappointed me; I always get the caramel granita and it's delicious. I can't even begin to count how many times I haves passed this little coffee nook. Well, today was the day. I was at Big Lots and parked on the side closest and walked over. I purchased the Granita; half chocolate and half caramel. It was mouth watering; you could smell the Hershey's chocolate syrup. It's kept clean. That I liked. Move over the other well known coffee nooks, there's a new kid on the block that I've discovered. My only downfall was they had outside seating but in Arizona, you need umbrellas over your tables. read more

We've been there twice. First visit the frozen hot chocolate was good but is more of a frosty chocolate milk, second visit ordered a cold chai and it was a couple of sips and gone; all ice cubes certainly not worth the money. Both time my husband ordered the Americano and he enjoyed those. I wouldn't go out of my to return but maybe will try something without ice cubes the next time around. One nice think they do is give you a chocolate coffee bean with your drink. read more

We love Human Bean. They are always, and I mean Always, friendly and efficient. I am always taken by surprise when they ask what I'm up to today. Do they even look at you at Starbucks? Not in my experience. The coffee is delicious. I love that they have many sugar free flavor options and a low carb granitas. The best part, though? Went there again 11/4 and its changed a bit but nevertheless stopped and had coffee there twice on the same day. Thank goodness I dont live in Az cause I would drive for hours to grab some Joe. I look forward to my next visit. The little bean they give you confuses the crap out of me, but its memorable. read more

I can't believe I just now finally tried this coffee shop! I have driven by countless times and always meant to stop in to give it a try. This place is great!! I had the French Dark Roast with cream and it was very good and reasonably priced (NOT $8 for a coffee like other places)...it comes with a dessert expresso bean that is very tasty. The staff are super friendly and quick. I highly recommend this place!! read more

Their Dubai iced coffee is really good--while it didn't quite top the one I had in New York, it definitely ranks as my second favorite. The only downside is the price. A 16 oz drink was $10, which feels a bit steep for a medium-sized coffee. Overall, though, it's a great option if you're craving a Dubai-style iced coffee without leaving Arizona.

She answered snarky, "if it's up on the board and on the menu it's the same" Mind you, one said latte and the other did not, hence the question. I opted with what I normally get. She took my order and then while looking down, stated, "2% milk okay" I said sure then asked if whole was available. You would've thought I had asked for her to go milk the cow and bring it back. She was very annoyed, so I said 2% is fine. I paid for my coffee then stood and watched her began preparing it. I saw her add one quick pump of syrup so I said, could I maybe have one more pump. Again, you would've thought I was about to suck them dry of all syrup. She seemed annoyed and looked at the register and began to say what I assume was they charge for extra, so I quickly said never mind. All in all I was disappointed with my interaction. The coffee was good and the wrap was okay but I dunno if I'd go back.

I have absolutely loved this place since it opened! I pick up drinks at least three times a week (probably more). The Human Bean is a real coffee house, not sugar with a taste of coffee (like DB)....coffee all the way!!!! Chandler, Shawn, and Caz are the sweetest, just tell them what you like and they will suggest a good one! Try the "muddy mocha" or "cow-a-bunga".....they are fantastic for a caffeine jolt! I have tried just about everything and always look forward to their new drinks of the month or season. The 20oz drinks have the best value and have them add their amazing whip cream to any of their amazing coffees! I am never going back to Starbucks ever again! The Human Bean is the best coffee house I have ever had. The customer service is on point, they really make you feel like family or an old friend, and the staff each has their own personal touch on how they make their drinks. That being said, the coffee does not seem so generic. Each cup and blend actually taste like what you expect! I have come to learn that going to Starbucks, most to all of their blended drink taste the same. But The Human Bean? Amazing everytime! The drinks here are great! I love coffee, but I appreciate that I can go to a coffee stand and have so many options besides coffee. My favorites are the Italian Sodas and Java Chip Smoothies! The Caramel Macchiatos are the best around too! They have a super easy to use app, as well that gives you basically a free drink once you rack up enough rewards, and who doesn't love free things?? Nothing is so heavily sweetened like at Dutch Bros which doesn't allow you to actually taste the coffee.
