Gyro Meal with Lemon Rice Chicken Soup
    Susie L.

This place was fast casual perfection. I could eat here multiple times a week. The chicken souvlaki was so tender and juicy. I got the chicken souvlaki platter with rice and Greek salad that overflowed the plate. I also wanted to try the gyro so I got a side of meat and a cup of the lemon chicken soup. I ate every last bite and took some home for leftovers. I wish they franchised this location to other cities in Florida. Seating area has maybe 10-12 tables, self serve drinks, walk up and order counter. Everyone was pleasant and helpful when I asked for more tzatziki and lids for my to gos. I will be back for sure.

The Greek salad and gyro were very good. It's just the soup I cannot get over It tasted like there were tons of lemons inside it was so lemony, although at first it was good. I had a little taste but after A few bites I started to dislike the taste of the lemon although my experience was pretty good I will definitely visit here again just not for the lemon soup. Everyone was very nice and attentive The staff are very nice and they had my order ready to come quickly the food was nice and hot ready to go. it was a cute little place for my eyes to walk into. It looks cute and comfortable and inviting even though it was a four out of five stars, I still would write to say five stars If it was not for the lemon soup. it was a very good shop. Very good service and I will definitely come here again for everything I got just not the soup.

I dine at my local Hungry Greek several times a week. The food is fresh, delicious and always consistent. Today I was in for lunch and noticed a much older couple sitting near me. They had just finished their meal and the gentleman needed help standing up. His wife asked the staff if they would be able to help him. Two young gentlemen came from the kitchen immediately and helped this older patron. They were so kind to him and his wife. It warmed my heart and refreshed my spirit! Thank you to those 2 young employees for being so kind today! I will proudly continue to support this establishment!

Everyone was super nice and it just felt like such a lively spot. Our table got a bunch of apps to share along with a couple entrees and all of the food was fantastic. The sangria was also incredible and definitely a standout. The only downside was that the service felt a little slow, so in between ordering drinks it felt like a long time. I did not mind too much though because the overall experience was still really fun. Definitely a place I would go back to!

We had a 6:30 PM reservation and the restaurant was fairly empty (about 4-5 tables occupied), yet we were seated at a very small two-top directly next to another couple where we could clearly hear each other's conversations. Several larger tables nearby remained empty the entire evening. When I asked about moving, we were told the tables were reserved and we'd need to leave by 8:30 PM ~ yet we stayed until 9:40 PM and those tables were never used... Service started off slow. No one greeted us for about 20 minutes until we waved someone over. When our server, Briana, arrived, she asked if we had been helped, which made it seem like there was a lack of communication between the host staff and servers. Food was okay: the branzino with grilled vegetables was very good, but the octopus was extremely tough and chewy. My plate was also chipped on both the left and right sides, which was surprising considering how expensive the dinner was. Drinks were fine, just a bit too sweet. What really caught me off guard was the automatic 20% gratuity added to a two-top. The most expensive restaurants in Tampa don't even do it and this is not Miami. Overall, not a terrible experience ~ but not one that makes me eager to return.

I was also shocked I had never heard of it. I went yesterday for the first time to have it in person and was blown away at the quality of food in terms of how fresh EVERYTHING was and how efficient the service was. The staff was so so wonderful. Cassie, Clayton, & Joy were all such a pleasure to meet and speak to. I'll be happy to go support them in their new location opening in Largo. Getting into the food - here's what we ordered and thoughts on each: - Trio of Spreads: Pesto Hummus, Roasted Garlic Feta, Tzatziki w/ grilled & fried pita chips. Each dip was INSANE and you could tell by the taste they were not only homemade but made to order. My favorite was the whipped feta but i could genuinely eat each of them everyday. They asked if we wanted the pita grilled or fried and when I asked which was better they gave us both! And I'm so glad they did because I really enjoyed both and had never had fried pita before (delicious of course). I will be getting this every time. I do remember the dips going crazy when we had gotten it catered and they hit just as hard this time around. - Chopped Greek Salad w/ potato salad. I had this infamous dish when we had it catered and I was literally addicted to the potato salad. I remember I had a plate of everything else then went back for a full plate of the potato salad. I definitely recommend getting this salad chopped over the traditional way as it is much easier to eat. So unique they add the pasta salad to it!! - Chicken Souvlaki Pita. I always get gyro pitas so was trying to switch it up here and I was so glad to finally try Chicken Souvlaki (I've had Greek sooo many times but never tried it) and it was SO yum. Definitely a good change of pace for me. - Gyro Pita Platter. Still needed to try out their gyro so got the platter which is basically a deconstructed pita. I love that you're able to add as much or little of each of the ingredients - it reminds me of taco nights! The gyro was fire of course. - Greek Feta Fries. These were seasoned to PERFECTION. I was stuffed but couldn't stop eating them. You gotta order these at every Greek place and constantly compare. These were a wedge vibe and the perfect amount of potato in my opinion (I'm Irish so I prefer a thick steak fry to a skinny mcdonald's fry). The flavor went crazy. EXTRA SAUCES - DONT SLEEP ON THE SPICY TZATZIKI

There was one other couple ahead of me, and only one person working, so I did wait a bit, which was fine since I needed to peruse the menu. There are a few tables inside to eat at, but I chose one of the three outside tables. After conferring with the couple in front of me, I decided to go with the Mezze platter - your choice of 5 items. I thought it was expensive at $24, but it seemed to be the best way to try a wide variety of things. The five items I got, ranked from best to least best: 2 falafels-really good, hummus-very good, cucumber salad-good, cous cous-fine, beet salad-meh. Make sure you ask for the hot sauce - it jazzed everything up. The platter was served with a couple of pieces of pita, but there really needed to be more to dip into all the salads. The only available drinks were to purchase bottled water or bottled soda. I only ate about a third, but I will say it did not travel well. Because three of the salads were placed in the same section, by the next day all three salads were a combined soggy mess, and the only part that was still edible was the hummus. I did enjoy the food, and the worker was incredibly friendly and hospitable, but it was a bit too pricey for one lunch for me.
