We stayed in Cabin 6 which boasts a lovely deck and magical mountain views. There is a bed upstairs in the loft, and a bedroom downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a good meal. I brought my own cast iron skillet and cooking gear packed in my camping supplies but ended up using what was in the cabin kitchen and it was perfect! No tv so you get to truly unwind, and enjoy the mountain air and cabin beauty. Loved it so much going back next month.

It's a very cozy hotel two stories only and basically an L shape. I am not sure if they've added the three cottages that you can also rent, but these run alongside the green space that is in the center of the hotel next to the pool. If you stay in one of these cottages, you have your own personal outdoor space and fire pit. I am unsure of how big they are as I've never rented them. As you drive up you will see that it is completely painted black, which I absolutely Love! It is nestled at the base of the mountains with a train that runs behind it. I don't know why that makes me so happy but it's very mountain vibe-ish!! When you walk in, it is dark and moody with a young hipster vibe. They have a general store that offers merchandise, breakfast bites, coffees, and light bites for dinner and lunch. I have only stayed here twice so I can only speak about the pizzas because they are so good I've only ordered pizza! The seating is also amazing here. It's very cozy to sit outside either in the lounge chairs or the sofas or by the fire pits. I absolutely love that! Inside they have cozy tables and boozes, along with an entire room of nothing but games, such as pool tables and board games for you to borrow. And if you're traveling with kids, it's pretty convenient to have that green space in front of you so they can run around while you enjoy cocktails, and dinner. I should also mention that it is dog, friendly! The rooms here are very nice as well. The beds are comfortable as well as the pillows and they have cute old school things like the light switches and old radios to add to the ambience. Nearby you can do great hikes if you get in early and you want to stretch your legs. If you're driving through Flagstaff, I recommend this as an overnight stay it's so fun!

When we arrived the sky was adorned with pillow, fluffy, white clouds, and blue skies which made for breathtaking views. We were blessed to see some Elk deers and the wrestling golden leaves at the Aspens. "And to you idiots who think it's cool to carve your name into the Aspen trees, how about if I carve my name into your forehead?" Don't be that person!!

The cuteness of the restaurant was so inviting- the restaurant looks like a log cabin with outdoor lighting streaming from it. The restaurant is nested at the base of the hill up to Snowbowl, and next to the Basecamp hotel. We settled in for a couple of drinks outside- Outside space is sprinkled with some comfy lounge chairs, outdoor firepits, games and more. All with a beautiful view of the sky, mountains and forest. This is a very relaxing place to enjoy the beautiful sky and some drinks. And the staff at the bar were super friendly. The drinks are also very reasonable in price. Flagstaff is a small town, to begin with, and this was the only hostel I found within the city. It…read moreis really popular so book in advance, one of the nights I wanted to stay was sold out and had to camp at a campground and it was super cold that night. Parking is allowed behind the apartment complex that's located next to the hostel. Street parking is also available free on a first come first serve basis. Free wi-fi is available here too. There are plenty of local restaurants in the area that the hostel is located in, also a short walk away is 'historic downtown'. A few blocks north is historic route 66 along with the visitors center located inside the Amtrack train station. You can find souvenirs inside the visitors center and if you walk further up the way there are more stores selling camping gear, outdoor weather clothes and souvenirs as well. The Staff was nice and always stayed busy cleaning and taking care of the place. They did give me some good recommendations for places to eat while staying in Flagstaff. Now the building itself was pretty cool. Judging by the hardware on the doors it was updated back in the 80[s but the architecture on the inside tells the store of when the building was built back to maybe the early 1900s (but that's just my guess and probably not accurate). Either way, I loved how they kept as much of the original features of the building as possible while keeping it functional. I stayed in a female-only dorm during my stay with them. The room I was staying in was a 4-bed female room with its own personal sink and its own minifridge, it also came with a fan in case you get to hot (or need moving air as I do). Even though it had room for 4 females it was only me and this other girl staying in the room for the day. She was on a 4-month' road trip' across the southwest/west coast of the USA. She was originally from England visiting the US for the first time and I loved listening to all the cool places she visited since landing in Seatle making her way down the coast and reaching Flagstaff where she took a rafting tour of the colorado river that rungs through the grand canyon. Some people I was talking to during breakfast were visiting from all over the country and of course, I ran into some people who lived in Plano, Dallas and other parts of the great state of Texas. Super cool people that bunch. They do have a full kitchen so you can use the stove, microwave, etc. Washer and dryers are available just bring quarters and detergent, towels are free just request one from the front desk. Breakfast was your choice of coffee or tea along with oatmeal and some fresh fruit. They have an upstairs with a nice sitting area and another full kitchen and 2 more full bathrooms upstairs so no shortage of bathrooms! Downstairs they have the sitting room and they also have a tv room and pass that they have a small office area with a computer where I assume guests are allowed to use. At the front desk, they have info on tours in the area along with a bulletin board with other useful information in the area. If you play pokemon go there is a pokestop on site haha! I loved this place and it worked for what I needed while staying in the area. If given the chance I would stay here again.

We cooked allot in the condo and everything was perfect for what we needed. We had a one bedroom condo with a sleeper for our 16yr old daughter. Sharing bathroom was a challenge and next time I will get a two bedroom Where we stayed was perfect distance to everything and we did alllottt of sightseeing since it was our first time here on the western side of US. I would recommend that the adjoining door the opens to out condo if needed needs some kind of noise barrier. We could hear kids playing right on other side, plus people talking very clearly. The location was fabulous. I had a great kitchen a great smell of the pine trees. I can't wait to come back and we actually come back every year. I love this place. I cannot say enough about how everything was......fantastic. the golf the Pickleball, the pools, the activities to keep busy basketball courts barbecuing you name it everything that Summer's about is at this resort thank you thank you, Club Wyndham In Flagstaff.
