If I could put zero I would. I can honestly this stay has changed me as a person. I don't take safety for granted any longer. We happily stayed here for a disc golf tournament. When we arrived, the front desk and concierge were kind and attentive. We did try to extend our stay, but we're told they had rooms but we needed to call in order to use our points. We thought this was odd. During our stay we had two spiders in our room. Neither my husband or I like spiders. Funny during our visit a pest control van came and went into the unit attached to us. The evening sky from the balcony was beautiful. Pictures included. Now for the reason why I would never recommend this location to anyone! My husband left super early in the morning for his tourney. I was still in bed asleep. About 8:20ish I woke up to who I thought was my husband because I could see facial hair. I was drowsy and not awake. Worse is I was NAKED. I came to a bit and heard someone say it's still occupied and someone is asleep. Thinking my husband brought someone to our unit to use the restroom or give him a disc, but my brain couldn't put two and two together. I said, "hello"? And no response. I saw a second figure that started to back away. Confused, I closed my eyes and reopened and couldn't see anyone. Didn't hear the door open or close. I yelled out again. Nothing. I text my husband to see if he had been there and he said nope. The text went through at 8:31am. Now I am panicked. Terrified. I'm yelling but I hear nothing. My husband told me to call the front desk. There was zero phone in the bedroom and I had to walk out to call. I got dressed. No one there. So confused I laid back down and tried to go back to sleep. Literally thinking I dreamt it all. Next thing I know the doorbell rings and two men, one leaning unprofessionally against the building (this is the one with the facial hair) and he said they were there to fix the air conditioner. I told them that the air conditioner was fine and there was no issues. They said they had a work order for that location. I said that there was no work order placed. I contacted my husband and let him know that those two had entered the building, and then came out and rang the doorbell and tried to hide the fact that they were in the building, while I was naked in bed. When my husband got back, he went to the front desk and complained about the situation. The ladies told him that they would contact the property manager and get back to us. They did and offered us dinner at the restaurant on site. Initially my husband took the envelope and discussed it with me, and we both determined that it was unacceptable , the other thing that we found out was there was a work order placed for an air conditioner but it was not our unit and they admitted to making a mistake with the location and unit number. The day before we checked out we took the envelope back to the front desk and let them know that it was unacceptable and we wish to speak to the property manager directly Without my husband telling the individual his name she said, "are you Roger"? He said yes, but was utterly shocked. Now we knew that the whole team at Wyndham knew about the situation which embarrassed me and made me uncomfortable even more. They told Roger that they would have the property manager call us the next day and she never did, we've left messages and nothing. We don't know what to do at this point but I'm embarrassed and obviously in 52 years of my life something like this has never happened. I now won't let my hubby leave without waking me up so I can firmly secure the door from the inside. I can honestly say I think about this situation often and I don't want to imagine what could have happened had either of these men or both decided to take advantage of this situation. It's terrifying to think about. I'm just totally uncomfortable. Even worse it feels like the property manager has completely avoided the situation. Side note: While my husband was in the lobby another guest came in and started complaining about a maid entering his until and beginning to clean it as if he was checking out. The employee stated they had received a text that they were checking out. He said "No, he had four more days". The employee admitted in front of my hubby that the text sent out for cleaning department was incorrect and that they had made a mistake. Seriously? Wow.

This is where we stayed, it was absolutely beautiful. We visited Sedona the Grand Canyon and the crater. We'll go back!

We had a very nice stay and we took a lot of side trips. Good restaurants near by too if you don't want to cook, we had a kitchen so we did do some cooking.

    Dust on door back

We really loved this property. It was very neat and clean except for the fact that when they clean a room, it is obvious they do it with the door to the room open. Behind the doors lurk some dust and debris. In the master bath, there was a bit of poo on the wall only noticeable when you closed the door. There were also some tops of furniture that weren't clean in the upstairs. I wrote a review, turned in my "experience card", talked to the front desk and no less than three times they told me they would contact me. They didn't. I am more upset about that than I am about the lack of cleanliness. It would have been professional of them to contact me and let me give them a cleaning tip that would only enhance their service and the rental experience of future customers. I am disappointed.

    Footrest

The unit we stayed at was clean and roomy but I would not stay here again. We all rely upon good Wi-Fi and the Wi-Fi was poor and unacceptable to no service. Additionally, the maintenance is questionable. The repair performed on the footrest broke.

First off, the resort is lovely - we loved our room, the view from our balcony was beautiful & the pool was perfect. Second and even more importantly to me, the staff was top notch, professional & so very kind. Long story short, my kids and I experienced a fairly big hiccup during our trip. On the way to Meteor Crater, my car got a flat tire & I had no spare. This happened on the highway & it was hot. The towing company took about 3 hours to pick us up & tow us to a tire place in Flagstaff where it took another 3 hours to get my tire replaced. Needless to say, we missed our day at Meteor Crater AND I felt like a horrible mom for not having a spare. While we were waiting for the tire to get replaced, I called the resort to ask what time the pool closed that evening in hopes that we could get back in time to salvage the day, mentioning why we would be late coming back. When we finally got back to the resort that night we had missed the pool hours but the nice young lady at the front desk told me they would extend our check out the next day so we could swim. My kids were so happy & really enjoyed their time at the pool. The extra time had already started to help turn our trip around but then when I went to check out, I found out that the resort had gifted us our stay. I was shocked but even more than that, I was touched that they would even think to do that. Talk about going above and beyond. While the resort is beautiful & I would go back for that alone, it is the kindness and compassion from the team at The Wilde Resort & Spa that I will ALWAYS remember.

HORROR AT L'AUBERGE! 17 hours without a toilet!…read more My fiancé and I stayed there in late July of 2026. A few hours after check-in, we noticed that our toilet was not flushing properly, we called maintenance who quickly sent a technician to resolve the problem. With the toilet apparently fixed, my wife and I went out for dinner and a stroll around town. Upon our return to our room (3106), we noticed that the toilet was still not working and that a room change was probably in order. It was past 10:00 pm at that time, we were tired, so we decided to inform the front desk and deal with the problem in the morning and just go to sleep. That night we had to use the public resort restrooms and so the following morning, with the inconvenience that this implies. The following morning, we called the front desk to let them know that the toilet was still not working and that we wished to be transferred to a room with a working toilet. All we asked was for the same room class of better, which is customary in these situations. Front desk acknowledged our request and started working to "immediately transfer us to a different room". It's now 7:30 am and we still have not heard from the front desk, we go down to the Cress restaurant for breakfast, and we are informed that a suitable room has been found and that all it needs is the approval from the Director of Front office (Sarahlynn Huggins). We again use the public resort restrooms and return to our room awaiting an update. It's now 8:30 am and still no room and no working toilet. We call the front desk, and we are told that a different room has been found but that "unfortunately it is currently occupied by a guest", and that upon checkout & cleaning we can move into that room. Estimated time for this room to become available is between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. This is evidently not acceptable; we needed a room with a working toilet now. Finally, at 10:30 am, a room is being "inspected" after cleaning, and we are promised it will be ready in 20-30 minutes. We go to play pickleball and return an hour later. Still no room and now it will be another hour until is ready! The front desk manager (Sarahlynn Huggins) was extremely rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and unprepared. I requested the General Manager's contact information, which she initially refused to give me and offered the "rooms manager" instead. I insisted and then she proceeds to give me Anthony Loiacono's contact information as the GM. My wife does a quick LinkedIn search and realizes the terrible lie (Anthony is the rooms manager not the GM). At this point the conversation is over. I can deal with incompetence, a bad attitude, but I definitely can't deal with liars. I reluctantly take the downgraded room and move on. We had booked (and paid for) a Deluxe room with semi-private balcony and fireplace. We were placed instead in a tiny room (fishbowl) with lots of pedestrian traffic and zero privacy. No refund is offered by the hotel. I proceed to file a formal complaint and ask for a copy of it, she refuses, then I ask to take a picture of the complaint, and she refuses again. 17 hours later we have a working toilet. This whole interaction goes beyond poor customer service. This place simply fails to deliver the very basic standards of human decency and honesty. Needless to say, we won't stay there again. Enchantment, Ambiente or even Amara provide way better customer service than this place. The case is now in the hands of American Express, who has opened a formal investigation for breach of contract.

We chose to spend our anniversary weekend here, and it exceeded our expectations. The views are spectacular, and the morning hikes along the creek have been incredible. That said, I especially want to highlight the exceptional service we've received throughout our stay. Everyone--from housekeeping and maintenance to the front desk and restaurant staff--has been friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It's some of the best service we've ever experienced. We can't wait to come back!

The cabin we stayed at was convienently next to the lobby which has Wifi and a store that closes at 9pm. There is a restaurant on the property too. Our cabin was perfect! There were two fireplaces, with wood, matches, and lint chips already so we didn't need to go out and get it, we appreciated this. The cabin was very clean and large, has a master bedroom and master bathroom, with a fireplace. There is a second bedroom in the open space attic with a skylight and two double beds (beautiful spiral staircase for access). There is a tv in both rooms. There is also a tv and fireplace in the living room. There is also a full kitchen, and a wrap around patio where you can hear the creek running and birds. This was a perfect stay for our Anniversary trip. Highly recommend for a romantic trip. Stunning and affordable, my boyfriend found the cabin on a site for under $200 for our night, very much worth it. Looking forward to coming back! There is Wifi in the cabin and a guest book you can sign (at least in our cabin). Electrical heating also worked well, just takes time to kick in, so be patient. Hot showers were plenty.
