The Pub Inn was by far the most pleasant restaurant experience with a great atmosphere. The food is fantastic and pleasantly displayed on your plate. The staff service is quick and very nice to talk to.

    A view from the porch!

Great food! Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back. This is our second trip. Sat on the porch which is very pretty . Drinks excellent and the service great!

Very nice and shown to a great table. There wasn't lots of people there at opening but we didn't care. I couldn't resist the deviled eggs which had chili oil and just a little bit of heat. Love the flavor and then we went to the artichoke hearts that were crispy fried on the outside and creamy on the inside. We then ordered up the crispy fried chicken because of the chickpea batter. My buddy could have it being gluten free. I didn't even notice it was gluten free. Deliciously cooked. The last thing we ordered were the shrimp and grits the maple flavor to it was awesome. The shrimp were plump and cooked correctly and the grits would not mushy at all. I was very surprised and loved to finish with this meal The one downside is I did order a martini and it did come about half the size that I was used to but it was only $10 as well. So delicious! Dirty martini just a little small but I didn't want to order two. I think you're going to be quite pleased if you ever are going through turners falls or if you live there and drop on in the whole dinner for the four dishes and two drinks was about $85 with the 20% tip so it's not cheap but the food is good

There's both bar and table seating. It's tapas style and the menu was great. We had a variety of dishes including tuna tartare, Hamachi, two different types of street taco, and a noodle dish. Believe it or not, all of them were excellent. The Hamachi in particular - which is not a regular menu item but it was a special - was so good that my son and I ordered a second helping. Service was great, oh I forgot to mention I had the duck confit and it was better than the duck confit at the popular French bistro in my hometown. I wish this restaurant were close by to my home - I would go there at least once a week. Unfortunately we were just visiting the area. I can highly recommend this place. Were there any flaws? The only thing I can point to is that the environment is a little bit loud. Otherwise, no flaws. I regret that I didn't take any photos of the food, which I usually do. Honestly the stuff was so good that once it hit the table we just dug in!

The first thing we noticed when we walked in the door was that Christmas smacked us in the face with the best smelling Christmas Tree candle , burning in a super cute entryway. I could hardly wait to get inside to see what else this place had in store. First, there was a fireplace and a couch and a table. In the rest of the dining area, we're all high tops. Not so high that a barely over 5 foot person such as myself couldn't sit comfortably. Our waitstaff (there were two) and were great about offering menu suggestions when I shared flavor profiles I might be looking for and they were attentive and so pleasant. They had super cute Christmas decorations, and were putting up more while we were there. The vibe is super warm and welcoming, and for a short while you feel like you stepped back in time. The tiramisu martini was delicious, as was the blood orange martini. I had the cauliflower with juju sauce at the recommendation of the waitress, and it was honestly the best cauliflower I've ever had! My husband enjoyed his macaroni and cheese with buffalo and bleu as well. The owner/chef, Leslie, came and chatted with us for a little bit before we were on our way. We learned that in the summer they hold concerts, and they have a golf course. There is a distillery on site as well. Everything about this place was excellent, and we are already planning a day date to go back and try more menu items!

We left so glad that we picked it! The restaurant is small with a limited number of high tops inside, a bar, and a few tables outside. The decorations and vibes are adorable. We were impressed from start to finish. Peter, our waiter, was friendly and chatty (without being too chatty), which we really appreciated, and he definitely nailed small-town Vermont charm. One of us ordered the Salty Chihuahua drink. It was tasty and very well priced. One of us started with a small green salad which was loaded with olives and feta- yum!! There was not a single bite of food that wasn't delicious. It blew us away. We ordered three entrees: chicken sliders, grande salad, and a special: the summer squash skillet, which we added meatballs to. We will be talking about and figuring out what was in those meatballs for years to come. The dishes were on the smaller side, but the prices reflect the amazing quality of the food. We are three New Yorkers with lots of opinions and high standards when it comes to what we eat. Brix exceeded those standards. We have a ski condo on Stratton and don't often make the drive into Rutland, but any time we do, it's guaranteed we will be eating at Brix.

We most recently also tried their blackened shrimp risotto special, and were impressed by the dish - large shrimps, perfectly made risotto, with a healthy dash of spinach...absolutely delicious. Lightly fried tenders on small brioche buns with perfect toppings. There were 3 of them standing tall on the tray, hot and delicious. We got an order of the mac n cheese to share - again, pure perfection. Homemade with the right hints of smoked Gouda, cream and topped with crumbs. I got the bourbon steak tips with mashed and asparagus done medium. If I could go back every week I would. The only down side is this place is in NH and we live in RI. In brief--Creative cuisine, excellent mocktails, at competitive prices, with friendly service in a quaint, renovated train depot on the Housatonic River." The Lenox-Lee is well known and regarded for an assortment of outstanding dining establishments. The Station is perhaps the newest addition to the array of places in that area worth a visit when in the Berkshires. Open only since February of 2025, they've taken the train depot in downtown Lee, right on the tracks and next to the river and turned it into a charm venue for what I would call casual fine dining We arrived at our scheduled reservation time. We were promptly greeted and seated by Realyn who would be our server for the evening. On one side of the restaurant is an intimate bar area and on the other, the dining room with various configurations for seating. Realyn brought us a complimentary bottle of sparkling Saratoga water (our choice--sparkling or still) and took our drink orders. We appreciated that while attentive and really affable, Realyn did not rush us through the dining experience. She took our drink orders and brought some freshly baked bread and softened butter. My wife ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and I ordered a mocktail of Passion Fruit juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, and ginger beer. Beautiful to look at, it tasted great and was really refreshing. I would end up ordering a second. Due to having a late lunch we really didn't have the appetite for appetizers and a main, so we each ordered a main dish, both of which turned out to be enormous platters of food. My wife ordered the whole Branzino. The presentation was gorgeous and the flavors were exceptional. The fish was completely deboned (save for the attached head), the skin crisp and it came with a sauce made from fresh peas, capers, roasted grape tomatoes, fresh figs, and finely minced herbs. I took quite a few tastes--for research purposes--and was very impressed with the freshness of the fish and the accompaniments. I ordered the Winter Duck Ragu. Wow, what amazing flavors. The portion was huge--half the portion would have been more than a suitable size for an entree. It's the sort of dish that once you start to eat, it's difficult to stop. I finally had to ask Realynn to remove my plate because I kept eating. Slow roasted duck mixed with oyster mushroom and winter black truffles in a homemade tomato sauce properly sauced in the kitchen with tagliatelle appropriately infused with Parmesan Reggiano. Every single bite was heavenly and as I said, a real challenge to stop enjoying it. We lingered for a while to finish our drinks and while Raelynn did recount the three tempting desserts available, we passed since both of us were really full. Two years ago when we were staying in Lee we happened to stay at a B&B right across from this old train depot. The B&B is in an old school house and is quite adorable. We wondered why know one was using the old depot for some worthwhile purpose. Well, The Station is doing just that and it's certainly a place we would visit again.
