The inside scoop is by far one of the best small local businesses in Bedford. This establishment has been here since I was 10 years old. The inside scoop employees are by far some of the kindest people I have ever come to meet, some of the girls even know my coffee order everytime I come in. They have created a space that is welcome to all ages, the ice cream hill for the young ones and the amazing coffee and food makes this place great. Never in my 3-4 years of coming to the scoop have I had one bad meal/coffee or bad customer service. Everyone is always so kind and wonderful. This coffee shop is really one of a kind and during this time they are working endlessly to secure the safety of the community of Bedford. The Inside Scoop is truly one of my favorite little coffee places I have visited. I am a graduating senior from Saint Anselm College, fortunately just a short drive away from the Scoop, and I know for a fact how much our campus adores having the Scoop. I'm an avid coffee drinker and I always prefer black so I can truly taste how good (or not good) the beans are and it's safe to say the Scoop has some pretty great coffee. Their breakfast sandwiches are to die for, as well as many of their other sandwich and salad options. However, my favorite part about the Scoop is how much they care about the surrounding community. Not only did they host a Saint A's day and gave out free coffee and held a raffle for students, but even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic they are still doing all they can to be there for the community. My husband and I went for a car date here this past weekend while our toddler napped in the back seat (we needed the little man to sleep for just a few more minutes so he wasn't a monster later), ordered a couple frappes online and off we drove. It's maybe 2 miles from our house...by the time we got there they were ready! It was our first time having anything from The Inside Scoop and WE WILL BE BACK. The regular coffee sounds amazing (the coffee frappe I had was so good) and I'm looking forward to breakfast sandwiches in our future. My husband got the moose on the loose frappe...also amazing! The Inside Scoop is my go to favorite ice cream place! They have everything from the best iced coffee to sweet drinks to sandwiches and of course the amazing ice cream. The staff truly does care about making quality food, drinks, and quality service. You can tell because of how they interact with everyone especially with a smile on their face. The owner Hillary is one of the sweetest most genuine people I know. She is always there open with a smile on her face and there to talk with every customer if they are a regular of a new face. I have never had a problem with them making a mistake on my order, and if I did I know that they would fix it within a heartbeat. The inside scoop has been my favorite ice cream place since the day it opened!! I have been going there ever since, from after school trips, to ice cream dates with my friends on the hill, to now that I am older and a coffee addict! I miss going inside and seeing all the staff's friendly faces, but I also am aware that typically there's at least 20+ people typically in the restaurant at all times. Due to this pandemic, having that many people in a small cafe, I realize, is just not realistic! They have really thought of the perfect way to serve their customers with convince, safety, and a short wait! There's something wrong with anyone who gives the Inside Scoop anything but a five star review. Not only are their sandwiches, drinks and ice cream delicious and their staff friendly and helpful but their community spirit is unlike any other restaurant of its type. During Covid 19, they have shown appreciation for so many groups of people( teachers, firemen, the police) they have also maintained a strong media presence that has helped their hundreds of friends and supporters stay connected to them. The Inside Scoop is a very special place in Bedford, New Hampshire. The owner takes great care in who she hires, what she serves, the ambiance she has created and the overall experience. The menu is centered around ice cream (hence the name); however, the menu has expanded to offer breakfast sandwiches, other sandwiches and soups, coffee and other bakery goods. During the COVID pandemic that we are all living through, they have taken extra caution and care when they are open and are always looking to protect themselves and their customers, have donated and taken care of many in our community and have also been offering free masks. The Inside Scoop is my favorite little restaurant in Bedford! The online ordering process is easy. They post stories frequently on instagram (@theinsidescoopnh) which makes it really easy to stay informed about hours, new flavors, and must try combinations. I think the coffee is the best in town. I also think the ice cream servings are fairly big, which is awesome...you get a good heap of ice cream when you order a kiddie. They also have good customer service. On a busy day they once forgot to scoop my ice cream. They apologized, gave me my ice cream, and also gave me a ticket so I could get one on the house next time I visited. I'm friends with Hillary's niece and I remember the day years back in second grade when she walked in to class all excited about her aunt opening the only ice cream shop in Bedford! It's 10 years later and I am still just as excited every time I get to go to The Scoop! As a senior in Bedford now, the Scoop will be a tough one to say goodbye to as I go to college next year! I'm going to put this simply for readers... I drive from Stoneham MA just to get their iced coffee during this pandemic (and prior). When I lived in Bedford I would go almost daily. The staff goes above and beyond to remember customers and what they like to order and the owner creates a family environment for everyone who enters. I cannot wait for COVID to end so my children and I can resume our visits on the ice cream hill. They haven't stopped asking when we can go inside and visit again. I regularly drive 25 mins to get a coffee & breakfast sandwich from "the scoop" (or "THE ICE CREAM SCOOP!!!" as my kids call it)! Their ice cream is amazing, the food is great, the owner is always so wonderful & kind. I HIGHLY recommend asking for coffee flavor combination recommendations (or personal recommendations of ice cream scoops in coffee) - I often rely on their expertise when deciding what to get! Love this place and everything about it and I'm so happy to see them continue to do well even with the temporary limitations on how they do business. The inside scoop has some amazing ice cream and without a doubt the best jalapeño cheddar bagels I have ever had! Not to mention the coffee and flavors that they offer are pretty great too. The owner is also the sweetest. I love how they have the take out option like a few other ice cream places (moo's place) and I think the precautions they have taken to make sure that customers and staff are safe have been amazing. Growing up in MA, I was ecstatic to hear that my new hometown of Bedford has "Richardsons" ice cream, the most flavorful, delicious ice cream out there (in my opinion!). Portions are perfect (although I did have trouble finishing a small!), there is a massive variety of flavors to choose from, and the staff is super friendly and always smiling. The best of the best! My kids LIGHT up when I say " hey, wanna go to the scoop?" The food is always top notch. The ice cream is incredible! They ship it in from Richardson's which is an amazing farm in mass and it is SO good! Always have the best flavors! The owner CARES and the staff is always so friendly and kind! I'm new to Bedford, NH and just found the Inside Scoop a few weeks ago. Great ice cream, great location, great family hang out. My kids love to play on the hill while my wife and I enjoy an ice cream. I was impressed with the Buffalo Chicken wrap and my daughter loves the Sesame Chicken wrap. We went for breakfast today for the first time. Coffee was way better than Dunkin Donuts and the bagels were fresh. My wife loved the egg, ham, and cheese on a croissant. The Inside scoop has the best ice cream. It doesn't stop there. I came in with my mother, for lunch after a long day of shopping. We go the most delicious iced coffee (brown sugar and cinnamon flavor!) we got the soup/sandwich combo and the sandwiches were made fresh and every ingredient was of fantastic quality. The soup was delicious and filling. Hillary is very nice, and never minds my active 2 year old checking out every chair around the shop. ;) This is my favorite place to eat!
