We decided to try out this newly opened Irish pub in Pinetop Lakeside after seeing their ad for a Mother's Day brunch. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. When we arrived, the place was completely empty--which should've been our first clue. We chose to sit outside, but oddly enough, the special Mother's Day menu wasn't offered until we specifically asked for it. After looking it over, we ended up ordering from the regular menu since it had more variety. There were four of us, so we ordered a mix of dishes to get a good feel for the food. Everything we tried was pretty underwhelming--under-seasoned and clearly cooked from frozen. Your standard bar food fare. They were also out of wings, and the music system wasn't working, which made the place feel even more lifeless. Food took nearly an hour to come out--even though we were the only table outside. If you're into beer and don't mind typical bar food, this place might be more enjoyable in the evening when it's busier. But if you're looking for a quality meal or a special brunch experience, I'd look elsewhere. read more

A great bar and restaurant in Pinetop! Fun themed ambiance. This was my first visit here but had wanted to check it out from having seen it advertised on food places to visit. Parking in the back was abundant and easy. We had a party of 4 on a Saturday for lunch. We were able to sit right away. I ordered an Irish Gold drink. It was juicy and mixed well. I had the Irish Beef Stew with Soda Bread which was great. The stew was chunky and delicious. After lunch we played a game of pool and it was a fun time! This was a wonderful lunch stop for food and drinks and we all had a great time together. We'll be back! read more

The Irish Colleen was clean, but the food didn't quite deliver. The veggie poutine had an odd flavor we couldn't place, and the fries were below average-steak cut, but a bit soggy. The burger was fine, nothing memorable. Drinks were as expected and reasonably priced. Service was a bit off. Our waiter stood on our table to adjust the umbrella when we arrived, which felt strange, and later brought salads out holding them by the rims rather than from the bottom. We were surprised by the final price-it felt slightly overpriced considering the taste and portion sizes. Overall, not terrible, but wouldn't go back. read more

Absolutely love this spot! They have some of the best corned beef I have had in a really long time. I really enjoyed their corn beef poutine. Their Shepard's Pie with lamb is authentic, flavorful, and simply delicious. I cannot wait to come back and eat more of their food. They were sadly out of dessert when we went, but that simply proves how good it must be! I also love how they have an outdoor area that is perfect for families to bring their kids without impacting other diners experience or ambiance. It was fun seeing other parents able to be out and enjoying their time. The food came quickly and we never had to track down our server. Nice looking place. Beer was cold. Server was nice. We had fish and chips and the Irish Rueben. Neither of us was happy with the meals. Rueben was lacking in corn beef, fries were bland, ketchup is in packages. Fish was tender and flakey but oily. Bar area was very nice. I'd heard great things about the place and wanted to try it. My husband and I wanted to find a more local spot for dinner and were intrigued by "live entertainment" last night. They only had one waitress on staff (Crystal) and she was incredibly kind and attentive. The musician was fantastic and kept our 9 month old baby entertained. Very friendly as well. Three stars is me being generous because: I want to love this place. And I keep coming back with high hopes. But it's been more than 3 months and they can't dial things in. The beer tap system they have will never allow them to pour a proper pint of Guinness. Running warm beer through a frat party cold plate ice cooler tap system? Then scooping the foam off the top?Seriously??? The food that isn't fried is good. Fried stuff is oily like they just plate it from the fryer without even a cursory shake... Happen to be driving by on a Sunday evening about 7:00 and saw it was not too busy, stopped in for dinner. It was seat yourself anywhere, the staff were super attentive and friendly. Service was amazingly fast. We had the Colcannon as an appetizer, it was delicious and authentic. I had the full Irish breakfast, it was amazing. Have not had white pudding since I was in Scotland. Last in 1997. Brought tears to my eyes, as did the potatoes gone. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Dubliner Burger and fries. We sampled a couple of the cocktails, the lemon drop, the Irish Margarita. Both were quite tasty. It's a standard Irish pub and restaurant with typical decor and ambience. Crystal was an absolutely great server. She was knowledgeable about the menu and every drink and so spunky. The interior is great pub woth awesome tables. The high tables are old whiskey barrels! Thenout doors is awesome. Area for kids to play and a live music stage for the weekends. Their Irish lemonade is dangerously good. I had the corned beef saanwhich and it's my first rating of 10/10. I ate here about 2 months ago and ordered corned beef and cabbage, My plate was delivered and the corned beef serving looked like it was scraped off a meat cutting board - there was not a single piece in the pile of corned beef that was larger than 1/4". It was a complete disappointment. My wife, on the other hand order Shepards Pie and said it was the best she ever had. Fun evening excellent soup and soda bread and Guinness of course! But the Guinness was a bit bitter tonight! Played a few rounds of bingo and hung out for awhile. They gave out a glass of champagne to everyone to celebrate New Years. The only reason I didn't give five stars was as I left and walked to my car in the back lot it was extremely dark and being alone it was a bit worrisome. Went for brunch. The food and service were great. They did a great job creating an Irish pub ambiance with each Guinness coming out with a different logo on it. The Irish Coffee was delicious. We tried the Jameson Whisky dipped French toast with eggs and bacon along with the Irish Eggs Benedict on potato cakes with large chunks of corned beef. It was all delicious.
