It Always has a Biblical scripture or saying. Today I made an appointment to just kinda follow up from having had 3 extractions & a root removed in June following our Family Cruise. All The Dentist I 've seen have been Amazing; they identify each other by their 1st names (interesting) but I like it. Today I had the Pleasure to be seen by Dr. Sara or Susan . All of the Team members are very Attentive & Awesome. Overall all Experience is 5 Stars. I enjoy the ambiance of the office as Well.

Moody dental is a great clean dentist office. I've been going here since March last year. It feels…read morevery futuristic when you walk to the back. Their staff is extremely friendly and nice and accommodating. I especially like the front desk lady with the brown hair and glasses. She is phenomenal. She is on top of it! I'm only rating 4 stars because when I went in to get my filling at first, I had the Doctor Who had a busted blood vessel in his left eye. He seemed to be under stress. When he did my tooth it looked like SpongeBob. It went by quickly he seemed to be in a rush to get me out of there. Being an advocate of my health, I did request for him to shorten it some more because my tooth was clearly wider and larger than the left tooth. He did just that. And asked me to bite down, I bit but my bite felt different. He said that my bite should adjust. So I went along that weekend and I tried to eat later that day, and it was very hard for me to eat. I tried to speak and say certain words, but my mouth couldn't form it. This is just from two teeth getting done. It was uncomfortable. I called them and complained because there was too much composite on my teeth and I couldn't function properly. So I went back in the following week and Dr. Hannah took care of me. They shaved down my teeth some more so that my mouth could close properly. It worked! I have been extremely pleased since then. I am happy they were able to see me again and fix everything. All in all if the doctors are under stress, they shouldn't be at work and they should never try to rush people out of there. I appreciate the doctors that I've had there that take their time and accommodate me patiently.

The surgeon is only there one day a week so I get it. That being said my appointment was at 10 and they told me to come at 9:30. I did that and I wasn't seen until almost 1130. That being said I had a quick x-ray done of my mouth and they were just basically checking to see if my mouth was OK to start doing the implants and make an appointment for that. I am not kidding you I think the surgeon was in the office in my room for about 2 to 3 minutes. He just looked in my mouth and had looked at the x-rays before he had walked in and said oh I understand you're in a hurry to get back to work, your mouth looks fine. We can go ahead with the implants. And that was it. Such a long waiting time to see somebody for like two or three minutes. That was ridiculous. So that's the bad but the good is that they're really nice. Another bad thing is they don't have nitrous oxide so nothing to get you to relax before a dental procedure. They just numb you up and go from there. Though I've recently switched dentist lately and only went to Aspen to get implants. Even my dentist doesn't use nitro sock side. My old dentist did it did make the experience much easier for me to deal with since I have TMJ And it made me relaxed enough to keep my mouth open for a longer period of time.

On the positive side, the dentists and…read moreclinical staff were always professional, and I had a root canal and cleanings there that I was happy with. My disappointment came from how my account was handled by the front office. I scheduled a cleaning after my dental insurance ended because my Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan covers two dental cleanings per year. I assumed the office would bill my medical insurance, but when I arrived, I was told they do not bill medical insurance for cleanings. Since I couldn't pay out of pocket, I let them know I would have to cancel the appointment and left. Months later, when I called to schedule an appointment for a dental implant and another root canal, I was told I couldn't be seen because I had been charged a cancellation fee from that appointment. I immediately offered to pay the fee, but I was then told they would no longer see me as a patient, even if I paid it. That was very surprising and disappointing, especially since I had been a patient there and had always had positive experiences with the dental care itself. I understand offices have cancellation policies, but permanently dismissing a patient over one incident--when the appointment ended because of an insurance misunderstanding--felt excessive and unprofessional. The dentists do good work, but I hope the office will reconsider how situations like this are handled in the future. A little communication and flexibility could have prevented losing a patient.

My husband and I went here last year for our yearly dental cleaning. When I called to make the…read moreappointment, I was not asked for my insurance information. I asked her if she wanted it and she told me no that they would get it when we got there. That should have been my first red flag. The insurance info is always taken ahead of time so they know what we have and what is covered as far as the cleanings and x-rays. As my husband was getting his x-rays, he had a feeling that they were doing more than what they should have that was covered under our insurance at 100%. So, he told his hygienist that she better not be doing any more than she should be that wasn't covered at 100% by our insurance and he told her that goes for my wife as well. Me and my husband both were refused to get our cleaning because they claimed that we both needed periodontal cleaning. I was told that I needed the periodontal cleaning because of the coloration that was forming on the bottom of some of my teeth. We trusted and believed Ringo and waited for the preapproval from our insurance. When it came back my husband's was rejected because he just had it done about 5 months prior to that at another dental office. From my questions to them about that they gave me the impression that the previous dental office did not do a good job on him causing him to need further work. This made me start thinking that since they knew he just had it done and that there were still issues they rightfully should have suggested that we go see and periodontist for further treatment. With this occurring it made me wonder about me. They would not say my numbers when testing my gums it was all kept secret. I then made an appointment at a different dental office and low and behold I did not need any type of periodontal cleaning just a routine one. I told my new dentist what he was going to do and he said that there are many dentists that use that as an excuse to get more work and money. We ended up getting a bill for x-rays that were not covered 100%. I have to take an antibiotic before my cleanings, so he sent in quite a number of pills in for a script because he said that he had a lot of plans for me. He wanted to charge me $50 for each tooth to smooth them out from chips. That was 4 teeth at a cost of $200. Which was not necessary. He tries to sell you on false information on our teeth. There was an older lady there that said to my husband that she had no idea on some of the information that he told her. He wishes that he knew how dishonest Ringo was because he would have informed her. I do not recommend this office. STAY AWAY!!!!
