My fiance and I went in for back to back appointments today. My fiance was getting his first…read morepiercing -- a septum piercing, and I was going in initially to get my tragus done. Dan was incredible through and through. He explained everything very thoroughly to my partner and what to expect with healing. He even explained what the best type of jewelry was to start with given my fiancé's line of work in having to keep piercings hidden. For me, Dan took into consideration my profession and how a tragus may not be the best choice given that I have a stethoscope in my ears a lot. He suggested a conch piercing instead and I went with it. It was SO quick and effortless. Dan was incredible and I will be booking all my future appointments with him. He was so kind and it shows that he's really invested in this line of work and very passionate about his craft.

That's why I genuinely taken aback by the length and tone of their response below. I'm not quite sure what they intended it to prove My review doesn't claim that they never replied. It explicitly says that I eventually received a response over a week later. I emailed them a few times during that time. By my third message, I'd explained the piercing was red, bleeding and producing green discharge, and that I was considering urgent care but understood it was better to consult the piercer first. I asked what I should do. I could have just come into the shop, but wanted to be respectful and ask first. A reply ten days after my first email isn't useful aftercare. In their public response below, Enigma claims that they first replied on May 26. After posting that response, they emailed me privately. They didn't repeat the May 26 claim in their email but did attach screenshots of their previous replies. Both screenshots are dated June 5, so 10 days after my original email. May 26 is the date I emailed them, not a reply from them. I've checked my inbox to make sure and there is no response from Enigma on May 26. They also admit that another more recent email "slipped through the cracks." When they finally replied on June 5, one email gave me Evan's working days and the other advised coming in to change the ring to a straight post. But by then, the problem had already healed up, so the advice was no longer useful. My complaint isn't about what they eventually said, it's that it took ten days and repeated messages to receive any help. Honestly, if the intention was to show that my review was unfair, sending me evidence of the very thing I complained about is an odd way to go about it. I stand by every word.

Cool spot where the owner Mike also features his other business the Good Company Golf Club (will have to check out their sim another time). About 15 minutes later I was led back by my artist Zhu who was patient with the tweaks I wanted to make and communicated clearly the process. After 45 minutes my small piece was done and she also explained the after care instructions thoroughly. Cash only for their tattoo services but they have an atm in the waiting area for convenience.

It's a nice space that focuses on piercing, and I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in. I called about two weeks ahead to schedule and was sent a link to book online. I was able to get the exact date and time I wanted and received both email and text confirmations/reminders before my appointment. I booked with Brielle! I went on a Saturday morning and there was plenty of metered street parking available. The building is gated, but they send you instructions ahead of time explaining how to get in, so it was easy to find my way. The studio itself is small but really cute, and both the studio and piercing room felt very clean. I came in to get a third piercing on both of my earlobes. Brielle showed me the jewelry options first, and there was a nice selection at different price points. After filling out a form, we went into the piercing room. She cleaned my ears, wore gloves, and I felt completely comfortable with the hygiene process. She took her time marking the placement of both piercings and let me look in the mirror and approve everything before she started. She also talked me through what she was doing before and during the piercing, which helped me feel relaxed. I wouldn't say it was painless , but it was very quick and simple! Afterward, she explained how to care for the piercings and gave me saline solution to take home, which also has the aftercare directions on the bottle. I'll need to come back in about 4-6 weeks to have the backs downsized. Brielle was friendly, professional and made the whole experience really easy. Most importantly, I was very happy with the placement and how my earrings looked when I left. I would definitely recommend Rose Body Piercing and would come back here for any future piercings!

He was quick to respond and asked for a $200 deposit, which I sent via Apple Pay on March 5 to the shop owner. We booked for March 16. Leading up to the appointment, he would send random updates on the design, but nothing was finalized. I gave feedback and stayed patient, even knowing they had a Friday the 13th event going on. I didn't hit him up again until March 15 (the day before my appointment) because we STILL didn't have a finished design, which is wild. He tells me he'll have it done that day. Cool. Then a few hours later, I get a generic email saying my appointment is canceled. No explanation. Nothing. So I reach out to the number I sent my $200 to asking for a refund, and instead of handling it like professionals, they get confrontational and start acting like I'm the problem for asking for MY money back. They try to hide behind a "no refund" policy... even though THEY canceled on me. Make that make sense. I added my conversation with the artist, since the owner wants to claim harassment. Judge for yourself. No policy was ever clearly shown to me, and communication was trash the entire time. Instead of owning their mistake, they blamed me and got disrespectful. I only got my money back after I told them I'd file a chargeback with my bank and take them to small claims court. Go read their bad reviews--you'll see a pattern, especially with how the owner talks to customers. Super unprofessional. Save your time, save your money, and go somewhere else.

Have scoped out a few shops in my neighborhood when I heard that this new place opened near North Park. Thought I'd check it out, see what the artists were about. Wasn't entirely sure what I wanted walking in, but I had a pretty good idea of the style of tattoo i wanted. Was looking to add American traditional tattoos to my ongoing "sleeve." Like, sailor jerry style-ish but contemporary. Kyle drew up a bad ass anatomically-correct heart tattoo. I was nervous about the color since most of mine are B&W and my sister doesn't hold color well. It's been a little over a week now and the colors are POPPIN! Love, love, love it! I'll see if I can add a photo to the yelp page. I've found the artist I've been looking for. If you're looking for an old school style tattoo artist, ask for Kyle. I just got a really beautiful tattoo of an eagle on my back, and it turned out amazing. It was my third tattoo ever and I am very happy and pleased with the outcome and the price. I found their shop to be quite clean and they were helpful and professional. I will be getting all of my tattoos from those guys in the future. My twin and I got matching tattoos from one of the artists, Josh. Josh is suuuper good at what he does and he cares so much about his customers. My boyfriend and other friends have gotten tattoos from him too and everyone is very satisfied with the works. I actually almost passed out (sux) in the middle of the work and he was being really helpful and let me get it finished after it healed, without charging extra! Before Covid, I was looking for a tattoo artist who was able to do a Thai Sak Yant style tattoo. I had been to a few local places, and Allan of Jade Buddah Tattoo, was the only one who immediately "got it". I recently got my nose pierced from Jade Buddha Tattoo. The price was $40 ($41.60 for card because of a 4% service fee) including the jewelry. The experience was quick, easy, and relatively painless. From the moment I walked in to the time I left with my nose piercing, it took about five minutes total. I forgot the name of my piercer, but she was confident, friendly, and professional. They didn't repeat the May 26 claim in their email but did attach screenshots of their previous replies. Both screenshots are dated June 5, so 10 days after my original email. May 26 is the date I emailed them, not a reply from them. I've checked my inbox to make sure and there is no response from Enigma on May 26. They also admit that another more recent email "slipped through the cracks." When they finally replied on June 5, one email gave me Evan's working days and the other advised coming in to change the ring to a straight post. But by then, the problem had already healed up, so the advice was no longer useful. My complaint isn't about what they eventually said, it's that it took ten days and repeated messages to receive any help. Honestly, if the intention was to show that my review was unfair, sending me evidence of the very thing I complained about is an odd way to go about it. I stand by every word.

If customer service feels like a burden to your staff, maybe don't work in an industry where people are trusting you with permanent art on their body. Reply: I was honestly just going to leave it at that but interesting how your entire response focuses on defending yourselves instead of acknowledging how your customers actually felt. I shouldn't have to defend my experience or be told what your staff "really meant."
