My tattoo came out dope and super clean! Lavish Tattoo was an awesome experience. A couple of friends and I wanted to get walk-in compass tattoos while we were on vacation down here. Ryan took care of us and was kind and patient from start to finish. The tattoos are great quality and very fast. The line work is very clean, and I love the color on mine. Went here for their Friday the 13th special for a simple tattoo and it went so smoothly! Didn't feel rushed at all and the wait was not bad. I got Rylan as my artist and he was extremely friendly and welcoming. As a perfectionist I always fee l really annoying at tattoo parlors, but he was happy to help me get the placement, shape and size just right. Got my rook pierced here and loved how it turned out. I cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide twice if not more every day but it got badly infected a week later. I'm talking the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life! My ear was the size of a tomato and red as a strawberry. I called the shop several times and no one was answering and when they did they said a piercer wasn't in and wouldn't be in for a while. Finally I had my friend rip the piercing out which was not easy or a quick process whatsoever. Hopefully better luck next time I guess:( read more

On Saturday, after weeks of frustrating personal issues, I was at the end of my rope. As the air traffic controller in the original Airplane movie exclaimed, "I picked the wrong day to stop drinking." So because I am extremely mature, I grew a wild hair and decided to get another tattoo, well two actually. My daughter knows one of the artists at this studio, Dez. I brought in a picture of a Koala which is my favorite animal, despite my brother having lived in Austraila trying to convince me they smell like crap and are mean. I already have a tribal symbol, indicating power, on my shoulder, so I wanted my astrological sign (Gemini) in the middle indicating Gemini Power. Dez took both of my examples and found the exact size and coloring I had wanted. I remember thinking that, five years ago when i got my first tattoo, the process felt like small razors cutting me. However, much like childbirth, the memory of the actual feeling fades over time. I must have a lower tolerance for pain than I had thought. I was cringing and tearing up, while another guy across from me was falling asleep having a large tattoo finished on the back of his leg. Both tattoos took less than an hour. Dez was very professional and nice. I am extremely happy with the work. I have plans for at least one more tattoo that will likely be done following another mature moment. The artists there are amazing at what they do with great starting prices. I've gotten at least two done from Dusten, who's creative input has made me love my tattoos even more. Place sucks. Once I walked in nobody was trying to help me. They always have people hanging out in the front of the shop and around the entrance, like that's suppose to be a good impression.
