Brunch place with modern vibe. Usually packed during brunch hours. Service: while the place was packed, the number of tables allowed it to take it in new customers rather quickly. However, service was a bit slow. We waited for almost 15 minutes for two omelettes and an egg benedict. Food: commenting only on items I have consumed. Fresh squeezed orange juice: recommended. Very refreshing orange taste, not too sweet. Latte coffee: coffee tasted nice. Could use a bit less foam though. Chicken Pomodoro omelette: very cheesy (a bit too cheesy for my taste), chicke tasted alright, a bit too dry. The taste of basil pesto and marinara sauce seemed to cancel each other out. Side of fruit tasted standard. Overall: 3.5 stars. Could use a bit of refinement and improved service to get to 4-5 stars. read more

I've had good experiences at Jagged Fork before, but my experience today really put a damper on the place. waited 1.5 hours for a table, which wasn't the problem, but to have a disappointing meal after such a long wait kinda kills your day. we got to the restaurant when they texted us and the host stand was just a mess - hostess was not friendly nor attentive and there were 3 different people trying to seat us that were clearly not on the same page. when we got to our table, it was dirty and not set. there were egg bits and coffee rings on the table and it was pretty gross, even though the hostess just cleaned it? idk we ordered breakfast tamales, huevos rancheros, banana chocolate chip pancakes, and coffee. coffee was fine but food was another story. my huevos rancheros came cold, the cheese on top was unmelted, and there was barely any cheese in the tortillas. the breakfast tamales came half cold half warm (not even sure how that happens) with an avocado seed that my bf bit into our pancakes came with strawberries instead of bananas, and when we told the server about it, she was just confusing about the whole thing. she asked if we really wanted to throw away/waste the pancakes, if the strawberries really "make or break the dish", or if we want the bananas off the check, and none of her solutions really made sense lol. we just wanted what we ordered and didn't appreciate the food waste guilt trip. when we finished our meal, she told us our total (why was that an announcement ?) and had us pay/tip on the handheld tablet that doesn't show the price breakdown - it just asks for tip. we asked for the itemized receipt just to find that they already included an 18% service charge without informing us. good to know that's happened every time we've come in without us knowing. pretty unethical and illegal if i'm not mistaken used to like this place a lot but most likely won't be returning because it's inconsistent and don't want another experience like this. read more

This has been on my list of brunch places to try for a while as the photos on yelp look sooo good. The Jagged Fork is relatively easy to find as it is on the corner of a building of shops. There is a paid parking lot just across the street that is super affordable. The menu has a great selection of items, as well as tons of options for drinks! It is on the pricier end, but worth it for the atmosphere and food. I was feeling something sweet, so I got the pancake sampler. Let me tell you, the chunky monkey pancakes are to die for. My brother got the chicken pomodoro omelet as recommended by our server and the thing was huge! He also thoroughly enjoyed his meal. We will be back! read more

Service and food are top notch! They do not take reservations but they have a queue you can get on for the same day. We (7 of us) went at a busy time in Ann Arbor- Graduation weekend! Was so excited to try a new place. There was a 20 minute wait and no big deal. However when we sat done we waited 20 mins and was looking around for help to order. The waitress was nice. My daughter's food was good and mine skillet was cold, greasy and overcooked. The server carried the skillet with his hand. Skillets are suppose to be hot, right?! I substituted an omelet and it took 20 minutes! I had to ask for it my meal and the omelet was overcooked. Then they added 18% gratuity for 2 people. I will never go back! read more

Would definitely recommend this place. I had cloud 9. It is a sweet crepe with strawberries,blueberries and bananas along with strawberry cream cheese filling. It was so good. It also is very big. It could be shared with someone. It is plenty big enough. The waitress brought syrup but it was sweet enough without syrup. My husband had a crepe with omelette stuffing. (Can't remember the name) he loved it. We were pleasantly surprised and glad we stopped. The only down side is there is an automatic 18% tip included in bill. I wasn't told about before ordering. The waitress deserved the tip amount just wasn't warned in advance. The restaurant was clean and very welcoming. Will definitely return when back in the area. read more

2nd time coming to this location and was really good. There is a lot food for the price. They are always quick with the food. You have a choice of a booth of table and chairs. They are not really busy and it's quiet unlike most places. I order the triple triple omelet and it was delicious. In this picture, this is only half the omelet and half of the hash brown also came with wheat toast. It cost $14 and I shared this with my wife. TLDR: Excellent service, heavy portions that will send you into a post-brunch coma. The Jagged Fork Crepe (with spinach and mushrooms) is a total hit. It's really yummy...and huge! The breakfast burger we got was missing some ingredients listed on the menu but was also a very decent, scrumptious burger. The seasonal pumpkin pancakes more than anything taste like high quality pancakes - I'd vote just getting normal pancakes and saving the money. You won't really taste the extra stuff they added to it unfortunately. Waitresses were really kind, mimosas were also a hit (I wish they had days where you could get more for cheaper!!). No one in our party who ate their entire plate could move for the rest of the day...we were STUFFED in the best way possible. I came here quite some time ago and forgot to review this place until now! I have been to this location two or three times and each time it is amazing! The food always tastes fresh and the servers are always so friendly. Every time I came I ordered the traditional eggs benedict with extra hollandiase sauce. The biscuit is just so good and the hollandaise is rich and delicious! I have tried their pancakes as well. With some of the entrees you can order pancakes as your side and that is always a plus! Decent breakfast spot in A2, but sadly nothing to go wild about. Tried the crepes and the huevos rancheos, which where good, and also pretty standard. To me, Jagged fork is a solid 3.5, but what made a 3 v 4 was the experience we had right before leaving.. It looks like a place where U-M recruiters may take some potential students/families (all cool there) but the problem is the waitstaff will clearly give them preferential treatment. At one point during our visit, while still sitting down, a waiter used our table as a place to hold the plates/food for the other table. Were we done with our meal, yes. Were we also still occupying our booth, yes. More often than not, you go out to eat for more than just the food but also the experience)/vibe, which shouldn't include waitstaff treating you like a less valued customer. read more

I first came here about a year ago and loved the experience. I came back this past weekend and was incredibly disappointed. This place seems to have gone downhill fast. To start, we waited ~30 minutes for our food after placing the order and it came to the table already cold. The table next to us came 15 minutes later and got their food at the same time as us. It was likely sitting out for a while before being brought over-- they are simply way too understaffed for how busy this place gets over the weekend. Next is the food. I got the eggs Benedict, which, apart from being cold, had absolutely no flavors to it. Zero spices or sauces. The English muffin it came on wasn't toasted and was uncomfortably soggy. The cheese was dry, cold, and sad looking; straight out of a $2 shredded cheddar bag at the supermarket. The hash browns were pastier than I am in the dead of the winter (which is saying a lot)... how can you mess up a meal this bad?! Just take a look at these photos. I came in starving but couldn't even finish half of the meal. The real kicker was that they didn't restock their teas (didn't have any black options available!) and didn't have any barbecue sauce either. By themselves, both seem like minor inconveniences but I've never seen a breakfast place be this unprepared for arguable their busiest day of the week. Overall, don't think we'll be back. There are plenty of breakfast spots in the neighborhood that have faster service and tastier food. read more

Father's Day has been a weird day in our house since my grandfather and father-in-law passed. So, to do something nice to treat my husband on a day of sadness, I went ahead and ordered us some brunch delivery. Food always helps, right? And this food helped indeed! It was so delicious, especially for a delivery. It held up remarkably well! My husband ordered the farmer's omelet and I did the chicken and waffles and both were excellent. The chicken and waffles comes with some bits of bacon on top and 4 small mini waffles with a breaded piece of chicken breast plus two containers of syrup--one a bit spicier and the other traditional maple. I'm not much for spice so I stuck with the traditional. My only complaint is that the waffles failed to retain their crispiness on the outside but honestly, that's to be expected given they were transported in a closed container. Everything stayed hot and tasted excellent, tho. I took a nibble of my husband's omelet and that was also very good. First time here yesterday and everything was amazing. Angelo greeted us and kept checking on us all meal... even brought us a loaded French toast to try out! Best French toast and the other breakfast foods we tried were fantastic! I will be back for the huevos rancheros next time! We also thought the mimosa was a great deal- a whole mini bottle with juice for $10. Adding this spot to the brunch rotation for sure. As with any of these breakfast/lunch restaurants, there was a wait on Sunday morning. They had an easy check in system using Yelp. We left for 30 minutes and did some shopping in the area. The food was word the wait. My family tried a mix of different food options on the menu. We order led the Cloud 9 crepes as an appetizer. They were delicious. They were filled with fruit and strawberry cream cheese. Everything came out quickly and delicious. Overall the amount of food was a good portion. Everything we ordered we would get again. The only negative that we had was the chocolate chip pancakes had to much chocolate chips baked into them. The inside is lively and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon. read more

I was playing musical chairs when I first arrived. The hostess sat me at a booth. Almost immediately, a waiter moved me to a wobbly table. I must have offended him by asking to be moved to a non-wobbly table. He ended up moving me to the bar. I was not planning to have French toast two days in a row, but I saw the words "banana cream cheese". As I love bananas, I ordered the Very Berry Stuffed French Toast. In case there was not enough banana cream cheese stuffed inside the bread, there was a nice dollop of it on top. Not only could I taste the banana in every bite of the cream cheese, it was as fulfilling as a whole banana. I foolishly ordered sausage links as a side and could only finish one of the four links. The restaurant automatically adds 18% gratuity to the bill regardless of the number of guests. I have a rule whenever that occurs. Even if I had wanted to tip more, I never add additional gratuity. read more
