Truthfully one of the best donuts I've ever had.. typically I don't like to eat a whole donut or just eat the top part but THESE DONUTS are AMAZING! It's all about texture and these have a slight crisp to them similarly like Krispy Kreme donuts. All I know is I am going back to get more donuts before I head home read more

Go early! We got a jelly, a chocolate frosted, and a sugar twist. All were so fresh so pillowy so delicious I could have eaten 3 but I didn't. All 3 of us loved our donuts. This is definitely a great place for donuts. read more

I live in Michigan, but travel to Palm Springs frequently. Jelly Donut fills my crave. The double chocolate is what I love and it's made to perfection the way I like a donut. Very tasty doughnuts. Some of the best I had in the Coachella Valley. I love doughnuts (doughnuts do not love me) so I limited myself otherwise I would have probably ordered everything. Stop by in the morning by 8am or before while the doughnuts are nice and fresh. Looks family owned. If you are in the Palm Springs area and are in the mood for doughnuts I recommend stopping by here. If I could give more stars I would. I have been coming to this donut shop since I was a little girl until to this day. It has been over 30 years. The donuts are freshly made every morning. Even when I have leftovers, the donuts still taste good and fresh the following day. What I love is the sizes of the donuts and croissants! The donuts are bigger than other donut shops, and the croissants are absolutely fantastic! The croissants are usually the first ones gone so I would call the donut shop before heading there, and they would take my croissant order and have it ready by the time I arrived. The owners are husband and wife. They are very kind, friendly, and really generous about giving a few extra donuts, along with coffee or orange juice. They have been the original owners and same location since day one. read more

Very good service. I was welcomed with a nice hello. The man helping me was friendly. He suggested a donut with less sugar. Just now, eating it I am delighted with the flavor and texture. Our complex has been buying donuts there for a few months, and they are always delicious. Since they have less sweet donuts too (who knew) I'm sure to come back often as I live across the street. The service was spot on, the store is clean. Nice neighborhood too. Many employees from a local business were starting their day there for coffee and a donut. The store has a wonderful smell (pastry freshly cooked) and a nice ambiance. read more

Literally the best donut place Ever ! The donuts always taste fresh no matter what time during their hours you buy them. I don't know what they do to stand out from all other donuts places, but they should keep doing it lol. All I know is they have their recipes for their dough perfectly executed and when I think of getting donuts I always come here. The service is great too, the people there are very nice and have even offered to set some donuts aside for me if I call ahead. I wish I lived a bit closer but I will still make the drive to get donuts here rather than the one around the corner from my house. read more

I love apple fritters and their fritters are all star. They rate up there with fritters from Randy's Donuts near LAX. Fantastic! BUT, went in there at 9:30 a.m. and they were sold out. Not just sold out of fritters but of everything! Their official hours are 5:00 a.m. to noon! Please, Jelly Donut Shop. Shorten your operating hours or make more product. I have frequented some of the trendiest donut shops throughout LA. It was refreshing to experience the Mom and Pop element of this business, a temperament that is long gone elsewhere. I can't comment on the shop itself as my husband made the morning donut run and brought them back to the hotel. This place makes some solid donuts! My daughter enjoyed the cake style donut. She said it had a nice crunch to the outside and was soft and chewy inside - the way it should be. The glazed donut and the chocolate frosted donuts were good overall but my husband and I shared a butter donut which was pretty awesome. That one is worth a taste! read more

They close whenever they want. Today Monday they were closed by 10:AM. Very lazy people operating this shop. Don't waste your time driving there. I went to Swiss Donut on the corner of Ramon and Sunrise they are open until 6PM. They're hard at work from 5AM to 6PM always consistent. Thank you Swiss Donut for being open when others are not. read more

I've been here a few times as I live right around the corner. This is a small little shop and there has been one great thing about this place, consistency! I am always greeted with a smile, the donuts are always cooked perfectly and it is an easy in and out location. I haven't had a donut in awhile, we are doing some construction work out in the parking lot. Their putting in a Starbucks, don't be fooled by Starbucks fake pastries, Do Not pass on The Jelly Donut one word "outstanding " perfect balance light and crispy warm dough first thing in the morning!!! Very local, yummy, family run donut shop that consistently serves up delicious donuts, including my go-to favorite, the apple fritter. They have a nice assortment of donuts, including chocolate, glazed, old fashion, cakes, sprinkles(great for kiddies) and sugar. They are adjacent to a large, free parking lot. They didn't happen to have the French donut, but it doesn't mean that they don't have it on all days. read more

My only regret is that we are only visiting for an extended stay and return home soon.

The bakery and cafe is basically what it is. Right when you walk in, there's the main counter with all the fresh baked pastries on display. Along the walls are shelves of fresh baked bread. So many different options to choose from. Also packaged pastries are available as well as other sweets. Jalapeño's and cheeses is my favorite. Besides the breads, it's a cafe with fresh made sandwiches as well. I've had them before from a resort I would frequent and they were quite delicious. Pretty good in size. The baked goods are amazing and the service has alway been great. They have a stand at the Villagefest every Thursday evening if you can't make it to the storefront. The best bread in the valley.

i was back in palm springs at a resort (santiago! excellent!... but have had the same at twin…read morepalms, and descansos) where they again provided absolutely delicious, convenient lunches from aspen mills. the food is fantastic. such a delight and respite in the middle of the day. as before, my only criticism is-- aspen mills in my opinion UNNECESSARILY uses SO MUCH PLASTIC to pack the food that for me at least eating is is truly a GUILTY pleasure. sandwiches that are about to be immediately (within 2 hours at least... since ordering time at resort is 11 am for 12:30-1pm delivery) do not need to be packed in nearly indestructible plastic that lasts forever. what's the point of organic and earthy this and that, when you top it off with environmentally unfriendly wrapping? as i said in my earlier review- almost any of these sandwiches (already wrapped in a sheet of paper), can simply be put in a basic paper lunch bag with the little extras (cookie, pickle, a tiny tub of potato salad or bag of chips!) that is more environmentally friendly (and certainly cheaper than a plastic box, to the company). the plastic boxes within 20 minutes of lunch delivery, are discarded and simply clog the resort gargage pails, and later and probably forever (certainly longer than you or i will be alive!) the eco-system as they are tossed. so so wasteful, unnecessary, and what a strain on the environment that could easily be avoided. i just looked up the minimum breakdown type for this plastic in a landfill: 450 years. ouch. seriously. so easy to do better so why not do better?

Great local donut shop. Excellent donuts and friendly owners. The only negative is they run out of donuts by 10 a.m and their selection is limited. If they made more and stayed open longer they could probably double their profits per day. I usually end up going south on Sunrise to Swiss Donuts which excellent too and is open and fully stocked all day (They close between 5-6 pm) read more

My problem was that I stopped by around 1 pm, and you can tell this is a morning donut place, as they were down to a couple of trays of donuts in the case. I didn't have my favorite, maple bars. I got a couple of donuts as I wanted a snack for now and for later, and both were good. The service was friendly and quick, so there were no complaints. They were also reasonably priced, considering inflation has affected everything. They're a little hard to find if you're using a GPS app, but I managed to get there.
