This a small old fashion donut shop in a retail strip next to the gym. We arrived on a Monday at 8:30am and there wasn't a large selection. I was in Palm Springs last weekend and while I was out for a run around town, I swore I smelled donuts. Of course, that meant I had to have one for breakfast the next morning. Google + my boyfriend led me here. It's a lovely old school donut shop with incredibly friendly people. I've been a fritter lover since childhood, so I couldn't resist grabbing one. Very tasty doughnuts. Some of the best I had in the Coachella Valley. I love doughnuts (doughnuts do not love me) so I limited myself otherwise I would have probably ordered everything. If I could give more stars I would. I have been coming to this donut shop since I was a little girl until to this day. It has been over 30 years. The donuts are freshly made every morning. Even when I have leftovers, the donuts still taste good and fresh the following day. What I love is the sizes of the donuts and croissants! The donuts are bigger than other donut shops, and the croissants are absolutely fantastic! The croissants are usually the first ones gone so I would call the donut shop before heading there, and they would take my croissant order and have it ready by the time I arrived. The owners are husband and wife. They are very kind, friendly, and really generous about giving a few extra donuts, along with coffee or orange juice. They have been the original owners and same location since day one. read more

Very good service. I was welcomed with a nice hello. The man helping me was friendly. He suggested a donut with less sugar. Just now, eating it I am delighted with the flavor and texture. Our complex has been buying donuts there for a few months, and they are always delicious. Since they have less sweet donuts too (who knew) I'm sure to come back often as I live across the street. The service was spot on, the store is clean. Nice neighborhood too. Many employees from a local business were starting their day there for coffee and a donut. Literally the best donut place Ever ! The donuts always taste fresh no matter what time during their hours you buy them. I don't know what they do to stand out from all other donuts places, but they should keep doing it lol. All I know is they have their recipes for their dough perfectly executed and when I think of getting donuts I always come here. The service is great too, the people there are very nice and have even offered to set some donuts aside for me if I call ahead. I can't comment on the shop itself as my husband made the morning donut run and brought them back to the hotel. This place makes some solid donuts! My daughter enjoyed the cake style donut. She said it had a nice crunch to the outside and was soft and chewy inside - the way it should be. I went to Swiss Donut on the corner of Ramon and Sunrise they are open until 6PM. They're hard at work from 5AM to 6PM always consistent. Very local, yummy, family run donut shop that consistently serves up delicious donuts, including my go-to favorite, the apple fritter. They have a nice assortment of donuts, including chocolate, glazed, old fashion, cakes, sprinkles(great for kiddies) and sugar. They are adjacent to a large, free parking lot.
