The best donuts! I'm assuming all Swiss donuts out here in Palm Springs & in the Coachella Valley are the best donuts! They're fresh and melt in your mouth! Never have experienced donuts that fresh & so yummy! Customer service was great. They also gave us extra donut holes and noticed that they gave all their customers extra too! Donut shop is typical hole in the wall but this one's cute, looks like a family business. I can't wait to go back too bad I live too far or I'd be here more often. I haven't been to this spot in a while, but as soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted like no time had passed. The consistency of the food, service, and quality is still top-notch. This has always been my favorite place to get donuts and Boba tea especially with whipped cream. Everything was just as good as I remembered. We love this little donut shop! We make sure to stop by when we come down to visit family. The donuts are delicious, soft and fresh and there is a great selection. My husband loves the cinnamon and sugar twist. My kids had a chocolate bar and an orange (tastes just like a creamsicle). Their breakfast sandwiches are also very yummy and filling. My parents always get the bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich and we tried the sausage. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the staff are always friendly. Been coming here for years, but the other day a lady was in to buy a donut. She was short on the price of 20 cents, the store would not accept a debit charge of 20 cents from anyone to cover the amount the lady owed, as no customer had cash just card. So the manager told the lady you cannot take the donut. You do not have the correct amount. Seriosuly, over 20 cents. If thats not greed I dont know what is. You dont accept debit charge for 20 cents so nobody could help the lady and you wouldn't allow the customer to just have the donut? Is the 20 cents really going to make or break your business?? I highly doubt it. Needless to say after witnessing this they lost a customer of many years. I will not return. read more

Cute donut place on the corner Roman and Sunrise Way. There were at least 4 people ready to take our orders and fill our bags full of sugary goodness. Between the 3 of us we had an Apple fritter, glazed cinnamon roll, and a blueberry jelly filled. To our surprise we each had 2 donut holes on our bags which we ate immediately and decided we found the best donut place ever. Bucking the artisanal doughnut trend seen in many cities, theirs are pretty old school. More variety than a national chain. Better quality than grocery store doughnuts. Seems like a pretty good value for what it is. Apple Fritter: Totally love that there are bits of apple pie like filling throughout the doughnut. Plus tons of glaze. Probably my favorite doughnut of the batch. Old Fashioned: Cake-y and hearty. Pretty much on point for it should be. Orange Cruller: So airy and light. The orange glaze on top took it to the next level. Tasted like real orange flavor too, perhaps with orange zest, so no funky Tang-like artificial flavors. Cinnamon Sugar Buttermilk Bar: This one is very dense! Probably best to pair with coffee. The cinnamon sugar coating does help liven it up a bit. Bacon Maple Bar: The slice of bacon across this doughnut takes the humble maple bar to entirely new level. Once only the domain of hipster doughnut shops, now even the common man can enjoy this magnificent maple bacon donut combination. Cherry Danish: Tons of cherry filling and lots of glaze. Way better than those packaged danishes at grocery stores. Though it's not quite as good as one from a proper bakery, since this is a doughnut shop and doughnuts are their true specialty. Chocolate Cake: This doughnut slid in for free into my half dozen. No glaze, but a nice chocolate frosting on top. Very cake-y and and a little dry, but good with coffee. read more

As a European that moved to America, doughnuts isn't something I grew up with and for the longest time, I thought they were gross because most of the ones that I had tasted at workplaces or random events, were just dry, no flavor and all sugar. It took me a few tries to realize that you need to find the hole in the wall shops that open super early and have a line out the door. Swiss Donut is one of those places! They have so many donut options to choose from, and they also do croissants. Of course I had to get one to see if that was any good, because at least when it comes to those, I have a background lol. They sell huuuuge 'butter' croissants, and it tasted amazing and soooo fresh! I also ordered a few donuts and they chip a few tiny donut bites in the bag too. Well, the actual best yeast doughnuts I've ever had. This little shop is such a gem. SO old school, it really fits the Palm Springs vibes. People start lining up early for Swiss Donuts, but there's never more than a 5minute wait. Speaking of old school vibes, so are the prices. I bought 12 doughnuts (including bacon maple bars, cinnamon swirl, Apple fritter- not just the regular glazed) and the total came to $17 - a complete steal. And for the doughnuts... wow. The lightest, airiest, softest yeast doughnuts I've ever had. Almost like a KrispyKreme but better. The ratio of dough to glaze is perfection. You MUST get the maple bar + 11 more flavors.
