Very typical small donut shop business. Nothing fancy, just a small place to grab coffee, a donut, and maybe a breakfast sandwich. My problem was that I stopped by around 1 pm, and you can tell this is a morning donut place, as they were down to a couple of trays of donuts in the case. I didn't have my favorite, maple bars. I got a couple of donuts as I wanted a snack for now and for later, and both were good. The service was friendly and quick, so there were no complaints. They were also reasonably priced, considering inflation has affected everything. They're a little hard to find if you're using a GPS app, but I managed to get there. read more

This location next to Starbucks in Palm Desert only cut the size of their donuts nearly in half. Small donuts for nearly $3 each and they aren't good at all. Other locations by different owners are way better and I don't mind paying the price if you get what you pay for. read more

Our family visits this location regularly and have vowed not to step inside the Krispy Kream location that is scheduled to open down the road because we are loyal to our favorite places as well as support small businesses. Swiss donuts has fresh and delicious choices and it all sells fast so the earlier you get there the better. Our absolute favorite items are the old fashioned donuts, apple fritters and breakfast croissant sandwiches - which are huge and I can only finish half! We hope that locals will continue supporting our local small businesses, including Swiss Donuts as their business has been a favorite for many of us and I would hate to take away from their business to support KK which frankly is a bit overrated if you ask me. Hubby and I come here quite often. I'm on a donut kick right now. Last time in I strayed from my norm, yeast donuts, and got two cake donuts. They were disappointing. They didn't taste bad, they broke into pieces. Taste wise they were only passable. My normal donuts are fruit or cream filled, chocolate or maple bars. Last time in we ordered coffee and sat inside. The shop is small, but they do have a couple of tables to sit at. As for that OTHER place across the street. Yeah their donuts are pretty good BUT, they are smaller and far to expensive. A box of air glazed (you know which ones. The doughnuts that disintigrate when you bite into it) are $12 for a dozen! I went to KK once looking for a blueberry doughnut they had on their web site. No b.ueberries to be found. Anyway, Swiss donuts is my go to. Price and size is everything. read more

I met Kent the owner, the other day and we discussed the dramatic differences in his product and a competing product close by being produced by a large national chain. Kent uses the finest ingredients in his donut recipe. There are not enough adjectives to describe these donuts, especially when they are fresh out of the oven. What compliments donuts? At 6 am on a recent morning I visited for the first time. The "old fashioneds", my personal favorite, were still being made, but the doughnuts that were in the case all looked great so a decision was still difficult. I went with the glazed twist with maple icing. Fantastic. It was at least a third thicker than others I have sampled in the past from other places and it tasted wonderful! Sweet and doughy. Always have gone to the Swiss donut shop on Sunrise and Ramon. The donuts are always fresh and taste very good. Tried this location for the first time and not impressed at all. Bought 6 donuts to take home for the family and everyone who tasted them said they tasted like old frying grease had been used. No one finished their donut. read more
