I went here due to the positive reviews. I had some jewelry that needed repairs and some rings resized. Dave, the owner was great to work with. He gave his recommendations and answered all my questions. I ended up having my pearls restrung, the clasp replaced, and two rings resized. He was honest about a third chain, recommending that that one wasn't really worth the cost. Dave also bought some gold pieces, which were items I did not want. More than fair and took it off my bill. He did all this within a few days...I wanted my pearls for my daughter's graduation from NYU. When I picked up my jewelry, I was impressed with how beautiful everything looked. Found this jewelry shop on Yelp with good reviews. Firstly, there was absolutely no pressure from these owners and they were both quite helpful. They really listened to me and asked lots of questions. I had an idea of what I wanted when I walked in and the lovely couple that waited on me helped me choose a wonderful ring. I stopped in and saw Dave today after reading all the great reviews. It was my first trip to an actual store after over a year researching engagement rings online. I shop and buy just about everything online because it is much easier and I just HATE pushy salespeople. I had pretty much picked out a diamond and setting online, but I just wanted to stop in to an actual store to ensure I was getting a good deal online. I am SO glad I went to see Dave at the Jeweler's Studio. He spent about an hour with me, educating me and making me feel so comfortable. It was like having a conversation with a life long friend. There was absolutely NO pressure. He wasn't pushy in the least. He didn't make me feel like I had to buy the most expensive diamond in the store, and that I had to buy it right now. It was just the opposite. He showed me many diamonds and explained the differences between them in a way I could understand. I could go on all night about how awesome my experience was at the Jeweler's Studio and what a great guy Dave is. I was so impressed, happy and at ease with my first visit to a brick and mortar jewelry store, that when he gave me the total price of the diamond and setting, I told him to write it up. I went to the bank and came back in 5 minutes, paid him and sealed the deal. The ring is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't be happier with it, or the Jeweler's Studio. I will not even consider going anywhere else for any jewelry purchases in the future. Dave is going to mount the diamond, size the ring, and it will be ready for pick up on Thursday. I am so happy. Stopped in today to resize a bracelet. I was greeted with excellent customer service as he fixed the bracelet within 10 minutes. I previously went to Zales and Kay to get an estimate. This review is long over due. This place is great and i would recommend it to anyone looking for fine jewelry. They are extremely friendly and willing to help. Everytime you walk in you are treated with 5 star service with that hometown feeling. I purchased my engagement ring here and I went to a couple places only to find out no one compares. They were able to educate me without selling me. Being in sales for a car dealer I can usually tell when someone is trying to push me into a sale and there was non of that here. The Jeweler studio is the only place I will ever go to. We even had an accident with our engagement ring and had to have it repaired. We brought it to the owner(Dave) and he said no problem. We picked it up the very next day and it was perfect. To top it off there was no charge for the repair which was amazing.
