This place is so charming! I had perhaps the very best Thai food ever. It was called Coach Bombay. We all could take cooking lessons from this chef! He or she knows what's what! I say in the sun in the tiny cafe which I think is a remodel of something from this town's rich history. So fun. The staff might have been the owners but they were super friendly. Beautiful ambiance, drinks and food was super tasty and accomodated all our individual tastes (vegetarian and meaty options; beers and many wine options plus!!!); attentive and friendly service to boot. With the more formal tasting room, bar in the front, you can order your drinks and/or food at the counter. The space opens up to the right and to the back, with additional seating and a large event space! They have sooo much room in the back, with a stage and dance floor. With over 40 different brews to chose from, you are guaranteed to find something you'll like. For me, my favorite was the Farmhouse Saison. OMG! So delicious. The food too was amazing! Pasta dishes, appetizers, brats, burgers. It was all good and well worth it! There is a jampacked calendar full of events almost every single day! Music, comedy, open mic nights, art events, community events- really an amazing asset to our community. The menu has a wide variety of options, including meat substitutes and gluten free buns. My personal fav is the Burning Man rice bowl, but the Nirvana mac & cheese with beef fajita meat added is a close second. There are 30 beers on tap, plus a huge selection of cans to chose from, including some NA options. Wine & cocktails, plus kombucha on tap as well! The back patio has corn hole, a fire pit, and lots of seating. My kids had fun hanging out back there & enjoyed the huge selection of cards and games available for guests to play. My friends participated in the Seattle to Portland Bike Ride and someone was handing out flyers to visit the Juice Box. Our group of 11 people headed over and enjoyed our evening! From the front the place seems small, but the back opens up to so much space with plenty of tables and a stage where they occasionally have live music! I visit Centralia a lot and have been able to watch this place develop and it's been a lot of fun to see. It's really a fun space with a lot of character. Good variety of PNW beer (not just IPAs) and the food is really good. I really like the Tommy Chong, loaded spicy fries. Spacious backroom that is super fun with a lot of seating. They've had a lot of great music events here, open mics and traveling acts. I live in Portland and this is at least as good as any of the spots there--a real gem. Family friendly, plenty of room for everyone. They also have a full bar. Well worth a drive to come visit. read more

2.5 hours into a 5+ hour road trip from Hood River, OR to Bellingham, WA in a completely packed car with my sister, brother in law, and 11 month old nephew. Super awesome bar/restaurant/performance venue. The folks working there were wonderful and so nice and friendly. Seems like an awesome space for the town and community. Now the establishment itself was 10/10, but the food was amazing as well!! I ordered the "Dynamite" rice bowl which was a beef bulgogi situation, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was perfect and there was a sesame aioli on it that was unreal. So delicious. If you ever find yourself in Centralia, WA, I highly recommend The Juice Box. Everything fresh... My husband's Gouda mac&cheese too delicious for words. They accommodated my autistic son's special needs (plain dry burger) with not even a whisper of reluctance. THE BEST CUBAN I've ever had in my life. We stopped by for the first time a week ago, and I have seriously been thinking about that sandwich every day since then. Ok...so we went to this place for some beers/ciders when it first opened up..lots of choices on tap... comfy seats and nice staff.. we never tried the food that time. Since then ...our friends have gone a few times and also discovered beer bingo on Monday evenings at 6 pm... open for all ages.. completely free.. and the food is absolutely amazing! I'm ashamed at myself for not trying it sooner.. they have salads .. and tons of bratwurst choices.. pretzels.. and even a charcuterie board! So they have wine too for all u non beer /cider drinkers. .. we have been going weekly now.. and we love this place!! We hear they are soon expanding there wine list and also the food menu to add burgers! They have seating in front.. but also a huge room in back where the activities take place.. open mic... beer bingo... bands play.. check out there Facebook page for the list..and even outdoor seating out back..in nice weather. This place needs to be a regular stop in for everyone.. we are regulars at Olympic club down the street.. but this place gives oly club a run for there money.. if they add cocktails to there list then this place will be the only place you need to go in downtown Centralia..
