Came in on a Saturday for lunch @2:00p.m. It's a very relaxing place, they have unlimited mimosas Saturdays and Sundays, if I wasn't driving, I totally would have gotten them.y breakfast sandwich was good, the English muffin was a little dry, but in general that's how they are. Next time I wonder if I can trade the bread. My friend got a cheeseburger and it looked delicious as well. The French fries are hand cut and fresh, and you can definitely taste it. Went with my son today. He ordered bbq wings (6 for $16) , but the lady either didn't understand or defaulted to Buffalo wings. I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich (about $20). The sandwich was mostly tough bun, not fully-melted cheese, and pickle with a tiny bit of sauce. I was halfway done when I finally listened to him complaining that the wings were spicy before I actually tried them and realized they were the wrong sauce. I told the waitress that we had ordered bbq and she said "buffalo ." Then "I guess they can remake them." But we had already been there a while and needed to get going. No discount was offered and we paid the $16 for the wings that won't be eaten. I've been there for functions before, but won't eat there again if it's my choice. Fresh pizza for breakfast? Oh yeah! So, I admit it was more of an early brunch, but the opportunity to have some pizza at that hour was certainly a winning opportunity for me. The Jump is an interesting place in Gallatin Gateway. I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but based on the name outside, I thought maybe a mini grocery/convenience store. But it isn't. Sure, they have some local merchandise, but it's definitely not a full-blown store. If there is one, then it's somewhere else on the property. Even more confusing, the hours listed on the sign outside had me wondering if it was open at all, until I saw others coming and going. It's an open space on the left as you come in, only a few tables spread far enough apart to keep it from being a noisy warehouse feel because of the high, open ceilings and lack of sound-absorbing decor. Off to the back you could see the kitchen and toward the front and sides were the "market" items that looked to be things like Montana-made jams, jellies, and the like. There may have been more, but I did not go back to get more details. As for the pizza: It was way better than I was expecting for that hour of the day and this type of place. I was expecting something like a reheated frozen pizza, but it was anything but that. Think boneless buffalo wings on pizza with added cheese and nicely done crispy crust. Yum! Enough pizza for two. The one disappointment was the tea. Although it was good and presumably made with tea leaves and not a bag, it was lukewarm and overpriced for the size. There was such a huge hype to try this new place that we couldn't wait to come for dinner. The restaurant itself was beautiful. Great setting and the bar was completely stacked. Friendly staff and our server was very accommodating. The food itself was pretty mediocre. We ordered the Mac n cheese with beef and it literally looked and tasted just like hamburger helper. Don't get me wrong, I do like hamburger helper but I felt that there should have been more to it than that. We ordered 2 other side dishes that were also pretty so so. When the bill arrived it certainly wasn't the price of a hamburger helper meal. It was a bit pricey for what it actually was. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen but still willing to give this place another try... someday. read more

We received no waters, one appetizer was forgotten, orders were incorrect and delivered 30 min apart. 2 of us left with complete order in to go boxes. So we had to go up to Bozeman and decided to stop here for breakfast. This place is very large with not to many people there at the time. We were told sit anywhere we liked and our server came over with water and menus. We both ordered a mimosa to drink. The price for drinks was very reasonable. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my wife had the biscuits and gravy. Mine was very good and instead of Canadian bacon, the dish comes with two very slices of thick cut ham. Very good. The fried zucchini appetizer was pretty good. Well seasoned. The brisket nachos were disappointing. Very little brisket and cheese. We had to ask for more cheese sauce as they only had it on the bottom, and it was very sparce. We then got the wedge salad, which came with an abundance of bacon but little to no blue cheese or dressing. Had to ask for more dressing. Finally, the bison chili, which could have been good if it were cooked an hour longer. It had that young spice taste that needed to simmer more. We left most of it in the bowl. The food was excellent. We had the bison meatball sub and a hamburger, both with fries. The fries were great. The meatball sub was probably the best I have ever tasted and it was too big for one person to eat. Mostly bar-type food but they had a surprisingly good selection of food. I also ordered a local beer call "Mexican Party Hat." If you like Dos Equis, you will love it. Very good selection of local beers on tap. There was a live band (Fool's Gold) playing that night and they were great. There is a small dance floor if you are into that. We are so we enjoyed it. The waitress was really friendly and welcoming. We had a party of 7 and 3 out of the 7 people either did not get their food correct or it came out about 30 minutes after the initial entrees came out. They forgot one of the appetizers we ordered and we had to fight and argue with the staff to have a slight percentage of the bill taken off due to the horrible service. The one appetizer that we did get came out at the same time as the entrees so not really an appetizer. The waiter said the meal would be 50% comped but as previously mentioned we had to argue to get any type of compensation. Over the past year I have been dropping in for Wednesday Nights Country & Western Dance nights. More recently I find myself bringing friends and family for Happy Hour and Dinner. I live about 20 minutes away and appreciate what The Jump has been doing in the greater community. Regardless, I have had a great New York strip, the signature Bison Burger and they have incredible, large portioned garlic & parmesan fries that are addictive. I do not consider myself to be a Yelper, but the other day the manager went out of his way to speak with my two daughters, and it is those exact little touches that set this place apart! Recently, we joined our friends for lunch and all of us gave The Jump two thumbs up. I have a special dietary restriction and the Chef accommodated my needs perfectly. What a great addition to Gallatin Gateway! Great bar, food and dancing. Great place to stop after a day of skiing or hiking in Big Sky. While the menu is limited, all items are well prepared. The salads are fresh and burgers are great. They also have a nice selection of to go foods in the Marketplace, especially handy when you have guests coming in town. As the name implies, most of the dishes, from appetizers to main fare, are standard pub food. Brisket nachos are good, chicken wings were soggy and the wild game meatloaf is pretty disappointing. Stick with burgers and fries. If you're looking for a quiet dinner, this is not the place. Lively and noisy in the main dining area and around the bar especially when there is live music. Tough review to give but this place is consistently struggling. Staff is easily overwhelmed with a half-full restaurant and service is just dreadful. The food is decent, the pizza is incredible, but it's a big mess. For example, website says they stop serving pizza at 4pm. I called at 2:52pm and asked for a to-go pizza order. They tell me the stop serving pizza at 3pm now. So I ask if they can slip one in for me since it's not yet 3. They cannot. They sometimes don't answer the phone, and once they do, they might tell you they can't place your takeout order because they're too busy. Honestly every time I go it's something. Went today at 2:30p to see a sign at the door that they're closing early at 3pm for a private event. Turned us away for takeout. Seems poorly managed and the young staff just can't make up for it. read more

The waitress was nicer than the hostess but didn't seem to know what she was doing. She was so bad that I figured that she was new but she said that she had been there for 3 months. The owner and hostess Lynn is a super friendly and vivacious woman who has done a miraculous job seeing that her guests are enjoying their visit to The Jump! Came here with a group of 9 persons. Despite the restaraunt being half empty, we were told that it would be a long wait for a table. One of the customers in our group suggested asking if patrons would be willing to move to allow two table near each other to be moved. It was surprising that it took someone from our group rather than one of the servers to see this solution. Once asked, the other customers happily moved. Getting table service was a bit slow and the wait for the food was more than desired. Everyone enjoyed a tasty meal. Since the group was over 6, a gratuity of 20% was automatically added plus another 3.33% charge to use card to pay. Both of these seem excessive given the level of service we received. read more
