My freinds just flew into town and I've had this kind of situation happened before I am Caucasian and my friend was not and I had just picked her up from the airport. She's doing some free medical services for the towns people and we walked into the 19th hole and the gentleman, young gentleman probably in his 20s came over and gave us menus right away asked if we wanted anything to drink and we asked for water and will look at the menu And he never came back no water no order taken. But he did wait on all the other tables surrounding us and completely ignored us so needless to say we have no review of the food. We dined at the 19th Hole while traveling through town. It had a Montana ambiance and was a busy, local place. Nothing fancy (borderline gritty) with great beers and good traditional comfort food. The lone waitress (on a Tuesday night) was moving from table to table as efficiently as she could. We each had a Midas Crush IPA and then ordered a French Dip and a bacon cheddar BBQ burger. The dip was tasty and tender, and the BBQ sauce had a bit of a kick to it. This was more of a bar than a grill in its feeling but there were families as well as singles and couples. read more

Highly recommended by local junior hockey players, 19th Hole's buffalo cauliflower bites, crispy pub pickles, and little a$$ nachos got brunch off to a great start. I heard that this place was sketchy and then I went there and found out why. In the middle of COVID nobody in the restaurant bothered to wear a mask, which was all the more disturbing because I counted more than one (no kidding) customer wearing MAGA hats. There was a tall blond bartender who ignored me and my GF for 30 minutes I assume because we are both brown. And did a weirdface to simple yes or no questions. I will never go back. ....took a road trip to Bozeman, MT., recently for a family wedding. happened to stop in at this little bar & grill given it was one of the few choices open, conveniently located next to our hotel, at the hour we had arrived to checked in (11p). since the hotel did not have a restaurant on sight, we figured we "why not" and gave this place a try. we were able to find a table immediately once we walked in. although there was a full bar, plenty of beer options, bottle or draft or even craft brews, we opted for a pepsi just really wanting to order food from the menu. I went with the fried chicken fingers and he ordered a burger. needless to say the food was just ok. the chicken was kind of overly done causing it to be a bit too dry meanwhile the burger didn't offer much flavor. in the end, our bartender/server was quick & attentive as well as welcoming and friendly. and though the bar food wasn't the best, it did the job, for what it was worth. definitely an okay place to stop in if ever you are near the area. however, it is a dive bar with a casino gaming room attached, it isn't a place that will knock your socks off. read more

My husband and I were up from Yellowstone for the night and staying next door at Mountain View Lodge. After running errands all day, we decided to just grab appetizers and drinks here instead of calling an Uber to head downtown. I follow a vegan diet, but am used to deviating slightly when dining out. Didn't have to do that at 19th Hole Grill! The hummus platter was amazing and I'm putting pineapple on my hummus from now on. We also got fried cheese curd that I was just going to taste, but ended up eating because it was so darned good. I was able to get a Tito's Cosmopolitan (my drink of choice) and they were perfection. Atmosphere was upbeat and fun, even though it was a Monday night! And Steve, THE MAN, provided top shelf customer service while being super cool to chat with. I was considering trying another town next month for our night in civilization, but after our experience here, we'll be back to Bozeman! Great time! Looking forward to June! read more

Great atmosphere. Stopped by here to grab lunch and watch the golf tournament. They have 7 TVs in the bar restaurant with many more in the casino. The food was excellent and the service was phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town. read more

Just wasted my entire hour lunch waiting on our food. The server didn't take our order for about 20 mins and to make it worse people that came in after us got their food before us. Ended up having to leave with out getting to eat because they wasted my lunch break. Definitely won't be going back. read more

Stopped her for lunch before hiking in the Gallatin National Forest. The place is small and quaint right off the freeway. It's very casual atmosphere with friendly staff. They have GREAT food. The salads are huge (can be split between 2 small eaters) and the French Fries are some of THE BEST I've ever had. I see the table next to us as the Big @ss Nachos and they look to-die for! I don't do casinos, so I can't comment on the casino half of this business. Thankfully, the casino portion of the business is separated from the bar & grill portion by a wall. This is a relatively small bar, with not a lot of atmosphere or seating. There are seven big screen TVs, the bar takes up the length of the space, and the kitchen is open and viewable to patrons. It felt more brightly lit than most bars, but that may have been because it was karaoke night. Karaoke seemed like an odd choice, given that the first game of the World Series was on and The 19th Hole bills itself as a sports bar. The game was on most of the TVs, but without the audio, and I had to endure some less than pleasing singing. For a small bar that appears to be geared to the Miller Lite crowd, they have a pretty decent selection of Montana craft brews on tap, including Cold Smoke and 2-3 varieties of Madison River. The food wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. For a bar and grill, it was decent. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad. The iceberg lettuce, shredded carrots and shredded cheese were straight from a bag, but the tomatoes were plump and fresh and the slices of cucumber were crisp and fresh too. Portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. From what I could tell, there were two servers working the room, and, despite being a full house, I felt well-attended to. My server's beer knowledge was lacking, but I wasn't expecting much. While I wouldn't call it family-friendly, there were families there with kids. I don't know if they have a kids' menu, but I'm sure there are items on the menus that would appeal to the young 'uns. What it boils down to: I would come back for drinks with friends or a casual dinner with my wife, but this wouldn't be on the top of my list for date night. read more
