I don't usually go to this one, I usually go to the one in La Habra, but the one time I went here it was missing three of the items I had asked for, one of which was something I had paid extra to have added. It was done ten minutes before the app said it would be ready, so perhaps the extra 10 minutes would have helped the food handler to take his time and follow what was on the script. The food tastes great though and the restaurant looked very clean, so those are the 3 stars. read more

One of my go-to spots for a quick and balanced meal! The Kebab Shop does build-your-own Mediterranean wraps, bowls, and plates. My go-to order is getting their Grains Bowl with half Truffle Brown Rice and half Baby Greens or Romaine with their Chicken Shawarma. For toppings, I like their hummus, tzatziki dip, red onions, and pita crumbles. I always get their Garlic Yogurt mixed in. They have a handful of sauces you can choose from, so sometimes I'll add on a Dill Yogurt or Citrus Vinaigrette. They also have sauce pumps in the store, so sometimes if I'm feeling extra saucy, I'll grab an extra. But I usually don't need more since the employees almost always throw in some extra sauces in the bag, which I love! Occasionally I'll get a wrap, and lately I've been loving their Caesar Crunch Wrap! It has grilled chicken, fries, parmesan, house made Caesar Dressing, and pita crumbles. It's a nice change of pace! I also enjoy getting their Kebab Fries, which are their Crave Fries with a carved protein on top. It's topped with feta cheese, garlic yogurt, and pickled red onions. I think the Carved Lamb Beef goes best with these fries! Their online ordering is super convenient, and so far they've always been on time or early with my order! They also have indoor seating if you prefer to enjoy your meal in the restaurant. In my experience, the restaurant has always been clean! read more

Came here for their pre-opening party. Line took a while to get through (like ~45mins I think?), but I'm not going to complain about free food! Thanks for Kebab Shop and this store and their staff for doing this at all! I really appreciate it! A man who I assumed to be the store owner was chatting with some of the customers and also checking on everything going on in the store. People who showed up got their choice of plate or wrap, and I got a plate with lamb beef and fries as the base. Really tasty, healthy dish! Love that it's a balanced dish of meat, fries, salad, sauce, and onions. Really clean, brand spanking new store. Saw the staff working really fast and efficiently just pumping out meals. Okay, I'm convinced this location needs some help. Send help, please?! I was in the area after work on Monday, and I wanted to give this Kebab Shop location another try after last year. Even though the food tasted better, I don't know if my experience this time around was necessarily better. Allow me to explain. I came in around 7 PM, and there were just a couple of customers in the shop eating at the far corner. I saw an order tablet, which was recently installed, and placed my order there. I knew what I wanted: a Grains Bowl with most every topping. *Most every* topping?! Well, if you haven't seen it from my other reviews of The Kebab Shop, they recently celebrated the opening of their 50th location by offering premium toppings on bowls/wraps at no extra charge, so while this promo has been going on, I've only been ordering bowls and wraps lol. I was looking for the grilled chicken shawarma, which was recently offered as a complimentary protein at The Kebab Shop, but for some odd reason, this location only had the regular chicken shawarma! They did have an option for grilled chicken tenderloin, but from my past experience with the grilled chicken upgrade, I believe you'd get the same amount of chicken compared to the regular chicken. Therefore, I settled for the regular chicken, which I think works quite well in a bowl. I asked Kris for a water cup, and he gladly gave me one. After filling my water cup, I tried to do the same with the sauces, but three of the four sauce pumps squirted out rather abnormally. Like one of the OG Yogurt pumps squirted out a few drops, and the other didn't output much more. I had to depress the pump about ten times before I finally filled a cup, and the sauce itself appeared more liquid in nature. The cilantro jalapeno didn't fare much better. After about 2 or 3 pumps, the sauce, while creamier than the OG Yogurt, still didn't exhibit the same texture compared to the norm. Luckily, the fire chili sauce pump portrayed normal behavior, but that's personally my least favorite since it may not be for the faint of the heart, at least by itself. After about 5 minutes of waiting, my name was called to signify my order being ready. Even though I had requested sauces on the side, the employee who handed me my order directed me to the sauce station. So what was the point of the tablet asking me if I'd like sauces on the side if I was going to have to get them myself?? There was a time at a different location when I thought I'd have to get them myself, and I ended up with double the amount of sauces I asked for. Here, it was the antithesis for both independent clauses of the compound sentence. I really hope in the near future, they won't have me playing a guessing game on the sauces lol. As for the bowl, the taste was about on par compared to the other locations, which means it was good enough for me to recommend for others to try at least once. However, I realized they used the wrong rice in my bowl! For my bowl, I requested half fries, half truffle brown rice. I like doing this because fries are normally a $1 upcharge when chosen as a topping, but not as a base. However, instead of giving me the truffle brown rice I requested, they actually gave me the saffron rice instead! The bases are usually at the bottom of the bowl, so I didn't notice this until I was done with a good portion of my bowl. This led to a conundrum for me because at the corner of the kitchen prep area, there's a sign that says if anything is less than awesome, they'll try to make it right, right on the spot. I debated to myself if I should let them know, but since I had the truffle brown rice several times before, I was willing to accept this incorrect bowl. I'm sure others would have brought it up, but I felt a mistake of this nature was bad enough to let them know if they asked me midmeal, which they didn't, but not bad enough to proactively inform them. Still, it's hard not to wonder: Did they run out of the truffle brown rice and use the saffron rice instead, failing to inform me or hoping I wouldn't notice? Or was it just an honest mistake? Hopefully the latter... I also didn't like how upon presentation, a piece of lettuce and some of the dill yogurt sauce were hanging on/over the edge of the bowl. I mean, I know I stuffed my bowl with many a topping, but how about being less careless next time? Despite my gripes with my visit, I did enjoy the overall flavor of the bowl. The addition of the dill yogurt and citrus vinaigrette really took the bowl to another level on top of the three signature sauces I'm used to. All the ingredients tasted fresh as well, so they do have that going for them for what it's worth. However, it may be another year before I find out if the third time is a charm here. read more

10/10 Grilled Chicken Plate: This chicken kebab was cooked perfectly. I'm picky about chicken kebabs because I've often had them overcooked and dry, but that wasn't the case here. You get to choose two sides--I went with rice and hummus--and everything was delicious. Plus, they offer unlimited sauces. My only critique is the spicy sauce; it was too sweet for my taste, mixing spicy and sweet in a way I didn't enjoy. Price: $18.75 in total. Probably should've had Mexican food next door. The meat tasted OK but the rice like dish water soap , didn't bother saying anything to them. Just ate my meat and greens. They charged me for a whole side of hummus. I asked just for a little bit since it's not homemade definitely mess produced store-bought. I was in the city of Cypress for job interview after the interview I was really hungry,but there's many good restaurants in Cypress and Los Alamitos . I decided to look up at my Yelp what restaurants are close by then I saw the Kebab shop the review are good then I decided to try it out. I arrive at the restaurant then I look at the menu display then I decided to a plate meal it comes with one protein and two sides. I pick the Rotisserie chicken and my two sides were grill vegetables and saffron rice and a drink it's separate. I waited for my meal they make everything fresh made to order they also have sauce station they two sauce one is Jalapeño garlic and the other one is Original garlic. They brought my meal where I was seating at. I tasted the Rotisserie chicken it was season well with spices and cook perfect and the grill vegetables cook well and season and the vegetables were crunchy and the saffron rice was really good add the sauce in the rice it add it more flavor in the rice. The restaurant is very cozy and relaxing place to have lunch and also they a patio next time I need to bring my wife. read more

My husband and I come here once in a while. Honestly, we don't come as much as we would like because it's a little too expensive for what you get. We came by yesterday to have a late lunch since we were craving something Mediterranean. I had a wrap and decided to add steak to it, which I now regret. You do have to pay extra if you want to add the steak. The wrap itself was good. I added fries to it. But every time I would get a piece of steak, it was impossible to chew through it. It was tough and very dry. After eating a couple of pieces, I decided to pull them out of the wrap. The restaurant is always clean and staff is always friendly. My husband ordered a bowl with chicken and it was really yummy. The chicken was very flavorful and juicy. I think next time I'm going to skip the meat and add grilled veggies. I'm a professional with the wraps at the kebab shop because I have gone to a total of six different locations now just because my work and lifestyle changes a lot. Sometimes the employees are not trained to put the proper amount of stuff inside the wraps and that is annoying because I basically have to cross my fingers that I get a decent employee that knows the amount this specific location in Cypress was the worst the person at the register was zero Help she was not even trained about rewards. She didn't tell me about the sauces. None of that stuff when I got the food. The tortilla was burnt. I don't think the right meat was in there which was not a big deal because I prefer steak over chicken, but he got the meat wrong. The amount was not horrible but the way he folded it made it horrible to eat and the whole experience was very bad with everybody that was working. No class read more

The menu was easy to read because it is divided into steps. I was greeted by the staff as soon as I walked in. It waited only a few moments before they asked me what I would like. It gave me enough time to decide. Isaac was very upbeat and friendly. I ordered a salad bowl with chicken shawarma. It had a generous portion of chopped up chicken, a nice spring mix of lettuce, and the free side of hummus was good as part of the dressing. It was the mild hummus, which was perfect for me. (Shoutout to the hummus for singlehandedly raising the rating.) But overall, the food falls squarely into the "meh, it's fine" category--solid but not mind-blowing, especially given the price tag.
